Chase grinned. "Well, I did have to write it down earlier in class when someone mentioned how they wanted a car starter because they hated getting into hot cars in the summer. So I wrote it on a note so I wouldn't forget." He winked at Chloe, then pushed himself off his car which he had been leaning on, opening his door. "So, what do you guys wanna do? Stop at home to drop off our bags or just leave em in the trunk and head to the mall?"
Holland walked around to the passenger side, opening the door and leaning in, pushing the drink holder into the dash and pulling down the middle seat cushion so there would be room for the three of them in the front. She looked back at Chloe and motioned her forward. "You get to sit in the middle since your legs are shorter." She grinned and then leaned on the car looking over at Chase. "Whatever's fine with me. As long as we get out of here."

Chloe chuckled and shook her head, "I'd almost be willing to bet that that were true even. Which scares me."
Wrinkling up her nose the teenager replied, "Home? And risk a lecture because I'm in your car? I think it would be safer to put the bags in the trunk."
Warm sun plus a leather jacket, made the girl's cheeks flush near red. She was warm and the thought to lose the jacket was a tempting one. But really she'd just end up putting it back on again once they headed into the mall anyway. Wouldn't she?
Slipping past Holland, Chloe sank into the middle of the front seat. Very grateful that Chase had thought ahead to turn the air conditioning on.

Holland sank in beside Chloe while Chase sat in the driver's seat, turning on the radio and setting it to Holland's favourite radio station, Flow93.5. Looking across the front at his little sister he smiled. "See, I'm even going to let you listen to your radio station, aren't I the best?" He backed out of the spot, leaving the parking lot slowly as to avoid hitting any pedestrians.
Holland grinned as Chase set the radio to her station, knowing that he enjoyed the music as much as she did, but he was just putting on a show for Chloe of being the sweet older brother. Not that he needed to, since Chloe already knew how awesome Chase was. Looking back at Chloe Holland shot her an inquisitive look. "I don't know how you managed with that jacket all day, it got kinda warm. I'm impressed Chlo." She winked and stared back out the window, singing along with the music.
(you might as well finish up their drive, then I'll move it to the mall:)

"If your brother didn't have informants everywhere I probably would have lost it before lunch." Chloe answered quite seriously.
It had gotten warmer than she had thought it was going to. For which she was mentally kicking herself for having worn knee high boots. Well if she couldn't at least lose the jacket that black mesh top would have to go. She'd make a point of loosing it before they headed inside.
Giving Chase's cheek a playful pinch she said, "Aren't you just the nicest big brother ever to live."
He certainly beat Chloe's. But than a trained monkey could have beaten her brother.
As one of her favorite songs came on the radio, Chloe sang along. Head bopping every once in awhile. Smiling brightly she began moving lightly from side to another, just enough to barely brush against Holland and Chase when she moved their way. With any luck it would be enough to get Holland going too.
