Chase walked into the school, heading for the main office where he found the secretary, Pansy. "Morning Pan, nice to see your lovely face for another year."
Pansy smiled up at Chase, not needing to ask why he was there. She leafed through an open folder on her desk, producing a sheet of paper and handing it to him. "New schedule, everything in order like you asked."
Chase took it and smiled, thanking her again before leaving to find his locker. 245, must be in the west wing. He made his way through the mostly deserted halls, finally finding his locker in the west math wing. He set about opening his lock, dropping off some of his stuff inside, wondering who would have a locker near him this year.

Chloe was late and she knew it. Not that she cared. She’d feed her teacher some line about having to see the dentist this morning because it was the only time both her mom and the dentist could agree on for the next month.
As she walked through the basically deserted halls, her skirt came dangerously close more than once to flipping up and giving anyone who was around a sneak peek. Her plaid skirt barely covered her butt, heaven only knew what would happen if she sat down or bent over. At least she was wearing a black mesh shirt over her silver bikini top today. Which for Chloe was an improvement from what she’d normally do. The only part of her that wasn’t in plain sight were her legs, which for some strange reason she had imprisoned in knee high boots today.
Examining a couple of lockers as she continued down the hall she took note of Chase up ahead and that her locker was somewhere near his. Just how close was it? A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth as she sauntered up to Chase.
"Morning sunshine."

Chase closed his locker door, swivelling the combination lock around. He heard footsteps coming up behind him that sounded a lot like boots. He looked to his right just as Chloe walked up to him, shaking his head as he looked her over.
"Nice to see you're dressed respectably as always." Chase winked and leaned against his locker, glancing at his watch. "So, what's your excuse for being late on this fine morning?"

"Well it was either this or a pair of gloves and heels." Chloe replied almost too seriously, "I thought I'd give our dear Principle a break this morning. Seeing as how it is the first day."
Inching closer to Chase the younger teen leaned a hand just to the side of his right cheek. Her fingertips trailed over the cool metal of the locker as they moved closer to his face.
"Dentist appointment." Chloe replied with a wink, "You know you can't break those."

Chase smirked at Chloe's answer, having a distinct feeling that she's had no actual dentist appointment. "No Chlo, I suppose you can't. Good teeth are a key to success after all. So what class are you missing out on anyway?"

A strand of red hair came un-tucked from behind her ear and cascaded towards her cheek as she replied, "Teeth and a few other assets are very vital."
"Nothing they can really flunk me for at least." Chloe replied as she grimaced over the last part of her answer, "Just gym."
Without doubt her least favorite thing ever. Running laps, doing jumping jacks, push-ups until your arms left like they were going to fall off. Whose idea was it that this was supposed to be fun?

Chase frowned. "True, Billows won't flunk you for being late or skipping class, but she'll probably run your ass into the ground. Woman's a little too enthusiastic when it comes to physical fitness." Chase grinned, pushing himself up off the locker. "So are you actually going to go to class or do you plan on skipping like the model student you are?"

Chloe moved her hand away from the locker and placed the very tips of her fingers just below her throat and gasped.
"You mean some people actually go to class? Willingly? What a dreadful thought."
Shaking her head, Chloe couldn't hide the smile on her face as she took a step back. Like she was really going to go to gym on the first day of school? Yeah right and Teddy just became a straight A student.

"Just so you know, I'm only out here now because I have first period off. I'll be going to class later. After all it is honours English with Miss Lark. Guess it always helps attendance when the teacher is amazingly hot." He looked down the hallway, then back at Chloe. "So what're your plans for first period then?"

Chloe chuckled, "Even I won't skip the entire day. Maybe my next class will luck out and I'll show. At least to cause a scene or something to lighten the mood."
The teenager shook her head at Chase's comment about "Guess it always helps attendance when the teacher is amazingly hot." Sad, but honestly true. The younger the teacher and less experienced they were with controlling a class the better in Chloe's opinion. And hey a nice hot teacher was always a plus. Certainly helped to keep at least part of the class focused on whatever the subject was that was being taught.
"I was planning to roam the halls looking for some fresh meat to play with." Chloe paused momentarily to look Chase directly in his eyes, "But it looks like I'll have to settle for some old meat instead."

Chase laughed and shook his head. "Old meat? Is that all I am to you now? All those years, and all I get is old meat. Well then, feel like stopping in at the cafeteria? I need to get some orange juice and a muffin, I didn't eat this morning before leaving." Chase kept is eyes on Chloe, appreciating her fishnet top and short skirt. She was very nice to look at.

One side of Chloe’s mouth curved into a smile while green eyes crinkled at the corners, almost laughing at Chase’s response.
Resting a hand on Chase’s arm Chloe turned serious as she said, "Are you sure you can handle chewing that muffin all by yourself old man?"
Really she did adore him. He cared so much for Holland. Almost too much at times. Chloe ached to have someone care about her that way. Which was in large part why she dressed the way she did. Undoubtedly she'd end up in one of the parental type of teachers' classes and they'd scold her for dressing the way she did with a "That really isn't appropriate for school." or a "Do you have any idea what kind of boys you'll attract dressing like this?" She'd act upset and look the part, but deep inside she loved it. At least someone cared enough to scold her. Which was far more than she could say for her parents or older brother. Before the day was through she would be wearing someone's sweat jacket tied around her waist. One of the parental teachers would see to that. She didn't doubt for one second that one of them would find one somewhere and insist she wear it.

Chase mustered the best offended look he could. "Ouch, that one hurt." Looking down at her hand on his arm, he looked back up into her eyes. "Now as much as I appreciate the scenery Chlo, I must insist that you put my jacket on before one of the old hags pops out into the hall and sees you. I can't have my reputation as a good boy be tarnished by walking the halls with a floozie like you." Chase grinned, knowing that she'd know he was only joking. He did take his jacket off though, a white leather one that had been his birthday present from Ace this year. Chase was quite bigger than Chloe, so the jacket would actually reach down lower than her skirt if she put it on. He held it out to her, a determined look on his face that said that he expected no rebuke.

Chloe got all set to protest she had even opened her mouth as though she was going to, but stopped short with the look Chase was giving her. Really though even if she had offered some sort of protest in reply she'd have relented with little prodding on Chase's part. If he didn't have that something about him that made her go quite literally weak in the knees at times she would have tried to adopt him as another older brother.
Accepting the jacket she slipped it on. Hands were hidden in the sleeves and there was no longer any worry as to what would happen if she bent over or sat down now, her rear would stay covered.
"All right. Happy?" Chloe asked trying her best to sound slightly miffed with him.
Inside though she just wanted to melt into a puddle of goo and curl up in his arms.
"So you still want breakfast grandpa? Or did you forget about it already?" Chloe asked while winking.
The last thing she wanted to do was truly upset him. She hoped she wasn't pushing this 'old man' bit too far.

Chase kept his look of determination as she stared up at him as though she wanted to say something. He smiled when she took the jacket quietly and put it on. He couldn't help but smile as he looked down at her, in the oversized jacket she looked absolutely adorable.
"Quite happy kiddo. It looks good on you." Chase nodded when she mentioned food. "Of course, us old folk need to eat, otherwise my brittle bones might snap." He put an arm around her shoulder, leaning slightly against her. "You're going to have to help an old man out, though, I don't think I can make it there on my own." He grinned, leaning so that his head was closer to hers. He'd always felt attracted to Chloe, but never really considered anything beyond basic flirting. Even though he hassled her about her friendship with Holland, he didn't want to chance messing that up for the two girls. For now he'd be content to simply flirt with her.
