Chase smirked Chloe's way. "Now if I told you who my sources were, you'd know to look out for them." He winked before turning back to Ace and frowning. "Just as long as you know that I'd be the one fucking you, and not the other way around." He smirked at Ace's look of surprise.
Ace turned his head to look at Chloe, broken out of his surprised stupor by her comment. He regained his grin, looking back at Chase. "She's right, you know. We could probably make a hefty sum of money if we advertised. And I suppose, if letting you be the top is the only way I could have you, we could work that out."
Chase looked back at Ace and smirked. "Face it blondie, when it comes to our gay relationship, you are so the woman. Not only are you the one who goes for weekly facials and manicures and not only do you love clothes shopping more than anything next to soccer, but I am bigger than you, and stronger. You wouldn't stand a chance." Chase leaned in closer to Ace, wrapping an arm around the smaller boy's shoulder.
Ace tried to act offended by Chase's comments but couldn't help but smile at them. He knew if he ever did end up with a guy, he'd totally be the woman. There was no doubting it.
Still wrapped around Ace, Chase looked back at Chloe. "So, are you be one of the perverse horde who would pay to see us together?"

"Oh so true." Chloe grinned.
The idea of someone following her around and taking note of what she did or didn't do sent a chilling sensation up and down her spine. She didn't care for being followed in the slightest bit. And she had her brother, Jace, to thank for that. His damn drug habit had nearly landed her in the hospital once because like the idiot he is he didn't pay for some stash he should have and the dealer wanted his money even if that meant going through his little sister. Lucky for Jace she had enough saved up to pay the lunatic off before he left more than a few bruises on her face and chest. She'd had an interesting time explaining the hair always covering one side of her face and the long sleeved shirts she had worn for a couple of weeks while the bruises healed. Pushing the memories from her mind she focused instead on the lovely boys in front of her.
"So, are you be one of the perverse horde who would pay to see us together?" Chloe brought a hand up to her chin and began tapping her fingers thoughtful. Would she? No, she knew she wouldn't. She'd joke along with the rest of them and had been able to act truly interested in the thought and even perhaps turned on by it, but deep down it just wasn't her thing no matter how much she acted like it was. Of course she couldn't say no, but than she hated lying all the time, about just everything too.
"Depends on my mood that day." Chloe replied with a wink.
Well at least it wasn't a complete lie. And out of easily hundreds of students that would be gathered around the pair should they actually go through with that, what were the odds that they'd notice one person missing? Let alone her.

"Oh we wouldn't charge you anyway, hell you're getting half the show now anyway. I told you you were a closet gay boy." Ace turned his head to look up into Chase's eyes, winking.
Chase frowned and pushed Ace away. "Oh shut up already, I am not gay damn it and you'll never convert me. Besides, you know if anything ever happened between us Holland would never forgive me." He winked at Ace knowingly.
Ace just shrugged at the comment. "That's probably true. She'd be upset you got some of me before she did."
"Excuse you? You say that as though you're implying you plan on pursuing her?" Chase looked sternly at Ace, only joking but having to play his protective role regardless.
"Um, my bad? I swear I won't ever touch. At least not until she's eighteen..." Ace said the last bit low enough for them to hear, but for it to sound as though he hadn't wanted Chase to hear.
"I will not let you ruin my sister, damn it. It's bad enough you spoil her with presents and shopping sprees, the poor girl's never going to find a decent boyfriend unless you stop stringing her along." He smiled at Ace, hoping he wouldn't take that the wrong way. Luckily for him, Ace's good mood seemingly couldn't be twisted by any comment this morning.
"I can't resist, Holland's so neglected at home, I have to spoil her. Who would love her if I didn't?" Ace grinned, trying to look innocent.
"Speaking of her, she's probably pissed you decided to skip gym class. Do you know if you guys have anymore classes together this year?" Chase turned back to Chloe, leaning his arms on the table.

"How did I get so lucky to get this delightfully entertaining sneak preview?"
Eyes danced with merriment as Chloe listened to the two banter back and forth.
"I'm sure she is." Chloe sighed, "Should have talked her into skipping with me." Quickly she added in for Chase's benefit, "Only this once you know because it is the first day of school. And it's not like I would ever try to keep Holland from her education. That's so important you know."

Chase looked disapprovingly at Chloe before smiling. "I think you'd have a hard time tearing her away from Gym anyhow, it being her favourite class and all. She's one of the few who actually likes Billows' Nazi-like grip on class. Man I do not look forward to those days when we have joint class with the girls in gym."
"She is rather hardcore. I like her though, it's always good to have people who are as obsessed as I am with being in shape." Ace laughed, recalling one class in particular last year where he and the girls' gym teacher had engaged in a push-up competition. It had resulted in a draw.
"You still playing soccer this year Chlo? If so she'll probably make you run laps during first practice for skipping class, you know how never forgets." Chase laughed, both he and Ace had heard the horror stories of girls' soccer practice from Ace's cousin Sunny.

Chloe chuckled, "Oh I know. I swear Ace is trying to turn Holland into a mini version of himself with all of the fitness stuff."
Shaking her head she smiled. It was cute in a way. Not that she cared for exercising, at least not to the same extent as the blonde.
"Yeah. Playing mid-fielder again." Chloe replied with a grin, "Ah, but you've forgotten I have a note excusing me from gym this morning."
Of course she had a note. Not that it was really from one of her parents. She'd learned years ago how to forge her mother's signature well enough that no one so much as batted an eye about her many excused absences. Even if someone wanted to question the odds of getting either of her parents on the phone was slim to near impossible.

Ace looked at Chloe with a shocked expression. "You say that like it's a bad thing! If only more people in the world worried about their health like I do, the world would be a better place. Besides, Sunny is the one who takes the majority of my abuse. But maybe I'll start having Holland join us for our runs through the city in the early hours of the morning. She needs to learn to appreciate the early hour mornings more."
Chase looked at Ace and laughed. "Yeah, good luck with that one, let me know how it goes. I don't think even the promise of spending quality time with you could drag her out of bed at a decent hour." He smiled, looking back at Chloe. "Right, I'd forgotten you actually had an excuse, however illegitimate it may actually be." He grinned and shook his head. "Hopefully the soccer schedules won't clash too much so we can check out each other's games."

"Of course. If we had hundreds of mini Aces running around how could the world not be a better place?" The teenager replied with a wink.
Chloe gasped, "My excuse illegitimate? Never!" Coughing lightly she whispered, "At least no more than twice a week."
"It would be nice to see you guys play more. Would certainly beat having to hear everything second hand again this year."
She really did hope their schedules didn't interfere with taking in the occasional game too much. It was a shame not to watch the boys' team run back and forth in those lovely shorts of theirs.

Ace nodded at her comment, wondering for a moment what it would be like if more people were like him. He certainly wouldn't want to deal with his attitude on a daily basis.
"No more than twice a week, such a horrible influence on your classmates, Chlo." Chase shook his head disapprovingly at her. "But I suppose I can let it slide. You know, contrary to what people like to say, looks can get you places. And you're just too cute to really be angry with."

"Yes I am and I admit it too." Chloe smiled broadly.
She had no problem whatsoever admitting that she was terrible for forging excuses just about every week to get out of at least one class or another. But really, if her parents didn't care and the teachers never bothered to question, why should she care?
"Aw thank you." Chloe gathered up her trash to throw away, "So how about being a model student and walking me to my next class? You know just to make sure I actually go."

Chase grinned and stood up. "Computer lab, right? It is out of the way, but I'll walk you just to make sure you get there." He looked down at Ace. "You coming, or are you just heading straight to class?"
Ace waved the two of them on. "No, I'm afraid I have to pass. Have to get to class early so I can have Lark to myself before anyone else shows up." Ace winked at Chase before standing up, slinging his bag around his shoulder and waving goodbye to the pair before leaving the cafeteria.
"Well then, looks like it's just us." Chase walked around the table, throwing his bottle into the recycle bin.

Chloe nodded, "Right. But if it's that far out of your way you could always trust one of your spies to make sure I get there."
One green eye winked at Chase as she said the last part. She didn't believe for a second that he really had informants anywhere in the school that would tell him if she was or wasn't wearing his jacket. But there were those who enjoyed gossiping which could inadvertently get back to Chase without anyone really trying to let him know.
Standing she pushed the long sleeves up before picking up her milk carton and empty yogurt cup. Tossing the trash in the garbage she headed towards the double doors.

Chase followed her to the doors, a grin on his face. "You really don't think I have informants, do you? Just you wait. The moment you slip up, I'll know." Chase was joking, though he knew enough people in classes with Chloe who he could ask, get them to go along with the joke and tell him things about her day. But then he didn't want to push the joke. Maybe he'd resurrect it one day out of the blue to get a reaction out of her.
"Well hopefully Avansi isn't too bad this year, one can always hope that a person has changed, right? I'm just glad I have nothing with him, I never really liked him much either. I know Sunny really dislikes him, she's making Ace teach her how to drive instead of taking driver's ed. Holland tried to talk me into giving her driving lessons, but I'm not that giving." He laughed, flinching inwardly at the thought of his little sister driving his beloved Sunfire. He'd have to let her use it from time to time, but as any new car owner would be, he was worried to let anyone else touch the car.

Chloe chuckled while shaking her head, "I'm sure you would know. There are a lot of people here and the vast majority of them can't keep their mouths shut."
Unfortunately true. Secrets weren't shared between classes, even when one thought they could share something without worry, somehow it would leak out. Better to save whatever to after school hours at someone's home.
"One can always hope but I'm not betting on it." Chloe grimaced, lucky her she had him for two classes; computer and driver's ed. "Yeah I can just picture Holland speeding along as you start lecturing on safety, what not to do and the importance of not putting so much as one dent in your car."
She laughed softly at the image that brought to mind. Would certainly be a Kodak moment.

"Yeah, that and she'd probably want to blast her damn 50 cent on my stereo. I'm frightened at the prospect." Chase laughed, picturing Holland trying to drive his car. No, he definitely was not looking forward to it.
"So what are you doing after school today? I promised Holli I'd take her out shopping and then to dinner, you wanna come along too?"
