Dandy managed to get the bike's engine running again. Sometimes he feared it would die up on him, so badly it coughed at times. But in the end it did roar up and he put his helmet back on, his intention getting off the yard.
"Gotcha!"
A pair of strong arms caught him from behind, locking his arms against his upper body, and he could feel another body press against him. Instincts caught Dan before he managed to think it through, and he ducked forward, pulling his attacker with him, in order to hit the other's head against the bike's steers.
Quick as a snake, the other boy let go and pulled back, jumping off the bike.
"Your reflexes are getting better, Dan," the familiar voice continued.
Dan raised himself upright again and looked at Chip with a bit of a tired look on his face. Chip only stood there, grinning, in his sleeveless shirt and gold chain necklace, a black leather vest hanging loosely on his strong shoulders. Muscles showed clearly under his dark orange coat, and the golden rings he wore glimmered in the sunlight dangerous as his lively eyes. Dan knew better than to get into a real fight with Chip. He had once seen what those rings did to a guy's face, and he was rather attached to his.
Finally Dan managed to smile.
"Good to see you, Chip," he said and stopped his bike again. "What're you doing here?"
Chip grinned.
"Getting off to work," he answered with a shrug. "You remember I told you I have this little side business here."
Dan nodded.
"Oh, yeah." He paused and examined him with his eyes darkly. "You sure you're here just for the job? Not for some pretty young asses you could chase after?"
Chip laughed and shrugged in a relaxed way.
"You never know," he said and then put his hand on Dan's shoulder. "You know, you should loosen up a little yourself, my friend." He made suggestive moves with his lower body. Dan turned his eyes down, nodded to himself a while. Then he shook his head and glanced up, a very dark expression in his eyes.
"Just keep an eye on Sweets for me, will you?" he said with a low voice.
Chip grew serious at once and nodded.
"Sure," he said.
Dan nodded, and then he ignited his bike again. Chip stepped back as he tred on the paddle a few times and then drove off, in a cloud of roaring smoke. The younger man stared after the bike a few moments in silence, then he, too, turned away and started walking towards the school door.

Ace and Princess left the school, now arm in arm, walking down the steps. Princess heard the roar of a motorcycle and watched as Dandy drove away. Her eyes at once settled on Chip, looking him over appreciatively. "I heard that we were supposed to be getting some new computer guy in this year, wonder if that's him? He looks a little too old to be a student." Princess directed Ace's attention to Chip, hoping to break him out of his silent shell with the sight of a good looking guy. It seemed to do the trick as Ace laughed.
"I thought you only had eyes for me?" He teased her, watching as Chip came closer to them. He had to admit that the guy was pretty nice to look at, wondering if he was indeed the new computer guy.

Chip walked towards the main door with a whistle on his lips, his hands in his pockets and his step light and relaxed. He had never been one to make an effort of belonging into the “cool” crowd, but he had the walk of a man who is completely cool with himself, and that held a certain attraction. His form was lean and his appearance youthful. The fringe hung on his right side that day. He had taken great care in combing it there so it looked accidental, and checked several times that the hair had been trimmed well enough. You never knew with those barbers. Chip hated letting anyone near his head with a sharp object in the first place, so he was always rather anxious when he went to get his hair done. That made the barber’s job that much more difficult, of course, but Chip didn’t care. That was what the man was paid for, wasn’t it?
He noticed the couple walking towards him, and all thoughts were blown clear off his mind as he spotted the boy. Goodness, what a dish! Chip nearly fell right off his feet. He slowed his step just a little. He couldn’t get his eyes off the tan boy. Unconsciously Chip brushed on his leather vest where he imagined some dust from Dan’s bike remained.
He stopped to wait for the two to come closer. He planned to ask for directions for the headmaster’s office – or whatever the head of the school was called in a normal school like this. Arch deacon? No, that was in one church or another, wasn’t it? Chip didn’t really care. He wanted to make acquaintance to the blonde. Be still, my heart, he thought to himself ironically, have you ever seen anything more gorgeous?
“Excuse me,” he said to the couple when they were close enough. He conjured up his most charming smile. “I’m the new computer whiz. Can either one of you tell me where I can find the office of the boss of the place?”

As they got closer to Chip Princess looked at his face, noting how his eyes seemed to continually look at Ace. She tried her best to stifle the laugh that wanted to burst out-- Ace seemed to be attracting an awful lot of attention this morning.
Ace was also watching Chip, admiring his interesting hair-do. When Chip got close enough to voice his question Ace stopped, placing a hand on his hip as his other remained linked around Princess' arm. He looked over at her, grinning. "Score one for team you, you just seem to know everything." Glancing back at Chip he blatantly took his time looking the older guy over before answering. "Would you be looking for the principal, or the head of IT relations for the school?"

Chip smiled, remembering to pay his full due to checking out Princess as well. She had a formation, he came to think, which Dan might appreciate. Perhaps he ought to fix the two up. Then he sighed deep in his mind. As if Dan would even look at anyone twice with those thoughts right now.
But he didn't have the time for Dan right now. He met Ace's gaze with a good-humoured air. The blonde had really caught his eye, and he found himself hoping he might catch the younger guy's eye as well. He wasn't really that old yet, was he?
"The big man himself, I guess. Or is it her?" Chip said with a shrug. Ah, so the principle the word was. Of course. Well, the blonde had saved him the trouble of making an ass out of himself. "The principle wanted me to drop by on the first day."
He evaluated the blonde with his eyes. Now, gorgeous he may be, oh, yes, but what about available? By the way he was clinging onto the girl, he figured there was something going on between them. His heart sank a bit though he never let it show. The good ones were always taken.

"It's a him. Woody Collins, to be exact. Seeing as how we have no class right now, we can always show you to him ourselves." Princess was a little surprised when Ace volunteered them to walk this new guy in to see the principal, and she wondered just what sparked this distinct change in attitude. Whatever it was, she decided to go with it.
"So what my rude companion here really meant, is hello and welcome to Meadowbrook! I'm Princess and this is Ace, and we'd be delighted to show you to Principal Collins' office! What did you say your name was again?" Princess led them back in the direction they'd just come from, her arm still linked with Ace's.
"Right, always the mannerless one, aren't I? So computer guy, I noticed you talking to the guy on the motorcycle. Does he have a younger sister named Sweetheart, by any chance?" Ace had remembered her comment about the guy on the motorcycle having been her older brother, and seeing as how this guy apparently knew him, he decided to take the chance to get some more info on him. It was always good to be in the know.

Chip smiled to Princess as she turned to lead them back to the school.
"Just call me Chip," he said. "That's what everyone does."
He turned to Ace, smiling. Well, at least he could enjoy the view, even if the blonde wouldn't be interested in anything else. Chip was used to drooling after guys he had no chance with.
"And yea, that was my buddy Dan, Sweet's bro, there on the bike. Can't imagine what he sees in that awful piece of smoke and metal, truth be told. I'd have sold it to the junkyard by now." He gave a laugh. "You guys know little Sweets?" he asked, glad to have found a common ground for conversation. "I've known her since she was just a little sapling. Our families go ways back."

"Finally, someone who knows a piece of junk when they see it. A friend of mine keeps going on about how old junk, which he likes to deem vintage, is the greatest stuff in the world. I, on the other hand, need my things to be brand new." Ace was quite pleased by Chip's notion that Dandy's old bike was a piece of junk.
"Oh please, not everyone is a spoiled, bratty child like you. If only we all had mommies who could afford to buy us top-of-the-line BMWs, the world would be a better place." Princess rolled her eyes at Ace's proposed bragging, though she was amused by it.
"You don't even have your license, so you should really shut up before I ban you from my car." Ace pushed Princess off to the side, acting offended. He fell back beside Chip as Princess walked on Chip's other side. "So Chip, you've known Sweets since she was a kid. You ever meet Teddy, her old boyfriend? He's the vintage junkie I mentioned a moment ago. They're currently walking the halls together, actually."

Chip was amused by Ace's comment about the "piece of junk". He was on the same lines of thinking, at least when it came to those who could actually afford to drive something better than "vintage". In his opinion, since Dan's old man could have afforded it, he ought to have bought something fancier, like Chip's own car. It seemed like Ace and he had something in common. He thought a little wistfully that he might have hit it off with the blonde, if Ace wasn't tied up into girls too much.
He shook his head to Ace's question.
"Nah, not really," he said. "See, me and dear old Dan got sent off to a boarding school when we were real young, so I've seen Sweets mostly during summers... and not always then, either."
He stopped the tale before going on about his relationship with Sweets, as it most likely took him to recollections he didn't want to go through. Instead, he smiled in his most charming way.
"As for cars, my baby is a convertable. Had to work my ass off to get the old man pay for it, but he caved in in the end. He always does. That's the advantage of being an only son."
He grinned.

Ace nodded, storing away the info on the boarding school for later use. "I take it by saying only son you have other siblings? I myself am an only child, who doesn't even have to do anything for my mother to buy me stuff. She makes a ridiculous amount of money, so she spends it on me. Then again, she isn't really around very often, so it's probably a case of her trying to buy my love,or something." Ace knew that was exactly the case, but he didn't want to chace sounding like some emotionally deprived child, whining away about his work-a-holic mother.
Princess simply listened to the two guys talk, content to watch them for now. She too was interested by the notion of boarding school, but refrained from commenting. At least for the time being.

Chip nodded, recalling his own father having similar tendencies - to buy him stuff to pay up for being absent in his life. He shrugged.
"No, I'm actually an only child as well," he said. "It's just that even if I had sisters, my old man would probably still throw all his money on me. He's got this 'only sons matter' idea going. I daresay Tin Rosacci has the same problem - well, it's Dan's problem, mostly." He gave a laugh. "Though I wouldn't call getting whatever you want whenever you want a problem, but Dan seems to have issues with it. Me, I just take the world in with open arms." He spread his arms wide, and then planted them on the shoulders of the two teenagers, pulling them against him in a friendly manner. He just had to. The blonde was far too dishy to let walk off without a single close encounter.

Ace wondered if the attitude of Sweetheart's father had anything to do with the way she had turned out-- shy and quiet. It was an interesting bit of knowledge to know. He was't expecting it when Chip threw his arm around his shoulders and he stiffened for a moment, before forcing himself to loosen up. What was wrong with him today? Twice now, he'd allowed some minor physical contact to unnerve him. Maybe he just needed more sleep or something.
Princess was amused by everything Chip was saying, thinking to herself that he'd definitely be a good guy to have around this year, he'd probably make for some good entertainment. She leaned her head against his shoulder, sighing out loud in contentment. "What a great attitude, computer guy. You don't mind if I call you that, do you?" Princess looked up at him and winked.
Luckily for Ace, Princess' comments had once again jolted him back to himself and the current situation. Lifting a hand up to take a hold of Chip's, Ace squeezed it lightly before twirling himself away from Chip, but still holding onto his hand. Looking up into the older male's eyes, Ace winked. "Now as nice as it is to think you have free access to whatever it is you want in the world, the school does employ a strict don't-touch-the-students policy. You just never know who might be watching." A seductive smile on his face, Ace let go of Chip's hand, turning back around to continue leading him up to the front steps on the school. He had to admit that the guy did have nice, strong hands.

Chip felt Ace stiffen under his touch for just a moment, before the boy loosened up again. He made a mental note of that. This one would be an interesting fish to catch.
To Princess, he smiled.
"You can call me whatever you like, sweet-buns," he told her, and might have said more, had Ace not disentangled himself from his grasp at that moment. But he held his hand a while longer, and Chip found himself caught in his eyes.
"Now as nice as it is to think you have free access to whatever it is you want in the world, the school does employ a strict don't-touch-the-students policy. You just never know who might be watching."
Chip grimaced a bit as he recalled he indeed was a member of the staff now, and he let Princess go as well. But the touch of Ace's hand in his lingered on his skin a while longer after the blonde had let go. The seductive smile on his lips before he turned around again made Chip feel a little faint in the head. He reprimanded himself at once for being so soft. Well, so what if it was long since he'd had any? He really ought to keep himself in control nevertheless.
But he couldn't take his eyes off Ace in quite a few moments.
"That," he said sadly, "I do keep forgetting. It's only half a year's worth since I used to be a student myself." He gazed up and threw up his hands, a woeful expression on his face. "O, woe is me! I have grown so old!"
Then he grinned.

Princess smirked as she watched the two, thinking to herself how hot it would be to see them together. As deeply in love with Ace as she was, she did have multiple fantasies about seeing him with other guys. She hoped Chip really was gay, as it seemed to be from the way he kept staring at Ace. She'd love to help them bend the rules so they could get together.
Clearing her throat to keep from giggling out loud, Princess looked back at Chip. "How old are you, anyway? You can't be that old, you certainly don't look it. I'd guess 22."
Ace stood at the top of the steps, turning around to watch Chip and Princess follow him up. He was quite curious about the other's age. He tended to prefer his girls younger and his guys older.

Chip smiled to the question about his age. He was happy to hear her judge him younger than his years. He hated the thought that within six years, he'd be thirty. Thirty! That was ancient!
"24, actually," he said truthfully. "But that was close." He presented a flourished bow to her like a courtier might to a lady in medieval court. "And I thank you for your kindness, my lady." His eyes sparkled as he looked up again. He was really having trouble remembering to keep his distance. Chip was a very physical person, and hated having restrictions on how he should behave.
