Flint grinned when Mel made her comment, briefly thinking about letting Mel tie him up. But he quickly pushed those thoughts aside, it would not do for her to notice his interest in that thought. Instead he turned to watch as Dom made his comments about having to eat lizard eyes.
Slugger, for his part, was still pouting. When he heard Dom's comment about being made to eat lizard eyes, he mustered up his best sad, puppy dog eyed look and looked at Melody. Making sure his voice quivered just like a little kid who knew he was in for trouble and who was about to plead his way out of it, he sucked his lower lip into his mouth momentarily before speaking. "But I don't wanna eat lizard eyes, no matter what they're in..." He looked down at the sand, kicking his foot into the ground and clenching his hands together behind his back. He was finding it quite hard not to laugh.

Mel tilted her head so she could look Slugger straight in the eyes, the amusement evident in her own as she tried her hardest not to laugh.
"But they're good for you." Melody replied, "Don't you want to grow up to be big and strong just like Flint?"
Dom let out something that was a cross between a snort and laugh at that comment. Putting a hand over his mouth he attempted to keep a straight face.

Slugger lost his composure as well, turning to the side and grabbing onto Dom's shoulder for support as he laughed.
Flint, on the other hand, glared at the two boys and put his hands on his hips. "Okay that's enough! It wasn't that funny, damn it."
"Hell yes it was!" Slugger could barely get the words out in between laughs, his eyes tearing up from laughing so much.

Dom laughed so hard his cheeks flushed deep pink. Merriment danced in Melody's eyes as she watched both Slugger and Dom laugh.
"You'd think they'd been having a tickle war." Mel commented lightly as she looked at Flint.
"No, no, no." Dom stated firmly, remembering well how his sister would pin him and tickle his sides until he cried.
"Spoil sport." Mel replied sticking out her tongue.
Dom pointed towards Flint saying, "Tickle him if you have to tickle someone."
Mel titled her head to one side and looked as though she was thinking it over. In truth, she liked being tickled more than tickling someone else.

Slugger finally started to regain his composure, taking a deep breath before letting go of Dom and straightening up. "I'm not ticklish, actually. Lucky me huh? So I guess it is you, Flint."
Flint's eyes opened wide and he shook his head. "Uh no, tickling me is not a good idea unless you want to get kicked in the face!"
Slugger grinned and looked at Dom. "Yeah, that doesn't sound too appealing to me either. You know, instead we could just tickle the weakest target..." He glanced at Mel out of the corner of his eye before his lips turned up in a grin. He just wondered if Flint would take the opportunity he'd just given him.
Flint heard Slugger's suggestion and glanced at Mel too, likig the idea. Should he attack first? Would he look weird? Would she think he was being ass? There was only one way to find out. Quickly stepping behind Melody, Flint brushed his fingers over her sides, not wanting to be too forceful in the tickling right off the bat. "This is for making the boys eat lizard eyes!"

"Wait a minute." Dom eyed Slugger, "Think we can use that to our advantage? Tickle him when we're trying to get rid of someone?"
Mel rolled her eyes, "Only if you want a lawsuit."
"Scrape that than."
"Now you boys wouldn't do such a thing to little ol' me, now would you?" Melody asked fanning her face with a hand and trying very hard to pull off the composure of a southern lady.
"Do it!" Dom encouraged.
The corners of Mel's mouth turned up into a smile as she laughed. Not moving she let Flint tickle her. She didn't mind in the least.

Slugger watched as Flint tickled Melody and was quite happy when she seemed to enjoy it. This was probably fulfilling some fantasy of Flint's, so as long as both parties were happy, Slugger was happy.
Flint continued to tickle her, part of him still shocked that he had actually dared. But when she let him continue and seemed to enjoy it, he couldn't believe his luck. Now this counted as interaction with someone. He tickled her a bit harder under the arms, leaning over her shoulder. "Now do you promise to never feed the boys lizard eyes again, or do I have to keep this up?"

Mel laughed a little harder, her cheeks tinting pink. She could feel the warmth of Flint's breath on her face. A part of her was excited and wondered where this would lead, the rest of her told her not to be stupid or do anything stupid.
"No lizard eyes again." Mel vowed, adding in, "Next time bat eyes."
Blond hair hang in his eyes as Dom shook his head, "I'd say we could leave the two of you here, while we head over to resort. But ..." Dom looked straight at Flint, "I don't know if that's such a good idea."

Flint grinned at Melody, nodding his head. "Okay, bat eyes are fine. Just not lizards." He couldn't quite help it and found himself hugging Melody, his arms squeezing lightly around her torso. He was dying to kiss her cheek, but he didn't dare push it any further. "You're not such a bad babysitter after all." He let her go and looked over at Dom, frowning at him. "Oh quiet, you. I guess we should go, though. Moki'd be pissed after all if we came to the island but never bothered to show up and say hi." In reality, he didn't want to be alone with Melody just yet. Even though he felt like the ice had been really broken between them, he was quite nervous that he would go back to being more reserved and shy without the other boys around.

Mel was a little surprised to find Flint's arms around her. She wasn't upset. In fact she had to admit his arms felt nice there. When Flint go of her she turned around smiling.
"Thanks." Placing a kiss on Flint's cheek Melody said, "You guys aren't so bad either."
She just hoped Flint wouldn't turn red to the corners of his eyes or grow completely quiet. He was a nice guy to be around. Too nice really. At least compared to what she was used to being around. Ace was the one exception and why he hadn't dumped her ass like everyone else still amazed her.
"All right." Dom interrupted Mel's thoughts, "Enough of this mushy, gushy stuff. Let's go."
"Aww, feeling left out our we?" Mel questioned a devilish glint in her eyes.

Flint felt his cheeks flush a little when Melody kissed him, but he forced himself to shrug it off and not melt like he wanted to. "What can I say? We try." He winked at her before turning and looking at Dom. He frowned at him, but then grinned at Mel's comment. "Yeah, usually he's the one I'm hugging, poor baby's probably jealous."
Slugger laughed at the comment, nudging Dom with his elbow. "Secrets are coming out now, aren't they?"

Lightly pinching Dom's cheek Melody said, "There's enough love to go around."
Dom ignored Mel. But when Slugger made his comment it was just too much. The boy couldn't help himself. He just had to go there.
Dom sighed, "Can I help it if Flint gets me all hot?"
Looking put out Mel asked, "Share?"
"I don't like to share my toys." Dom stated winking towards Flint.
Mel tried to sniffle but ended up giggling, "Guess I'll have to play with Slugger instead than. Unless he's planning to join you two."

Slugger grinned and shook his head. "Sorry babe, wish I could say I'm game but you see, I'm actually gay. It's a soccer thing, we all turn gay the second we're on the team. It's a little annoying at first but you get used to it. That being said, though, I'm sure I could distract Dom so you could have Flint back." Slugger winked at the boys, a cocky grin on his face.
Flint looked at Dom and smiled, "Slug's right Dom. I think you and I need some room, maybe we should see other people for a while." The expression on his face was as serious as he could muster.

"I should join that team than." Dom stated as seriously as he could.
Mel tried her hardest to look deeply upset, "Damn soccer."
"You're, you're dumping me?" Dom bit his bottom lip and scrunched up his eyes, "But why? I thought you loved me?"
Melody clapped her hands, "Yay! All mine."
Dancing around the boys she bobbed her head from side to side, a wide smile on her face as she continued to cheer about the fact that Flint was 'hers'.
Dom tried to sound upset, but failed as he said, "You, you, you boyfriend stealer!"
Rushing to Slugger's side Dom put his head on the other boy's shoulder. While he wanted to appear like he was crying, in truth he was laughing quietly to himself.

Slugger shrugged at Dom's comment, "hey, we've always got room for another pretty face."
Flint shrugged his shoulders in response to Dom. "Sure I loved you, yesterday. But today, my friend, is a new day. A non-gay day, if you will." He grinned and started laughing as Melody danced around.
Slugger put his arms around Dom as the other boy leaned against him, patting his head and smoothing his hair. "There there, sweetcheeks. It's okay. Slug will make it all better, you'll forget about him in no time."
