***This thing is free for ayone to jump into; basically, Moki has invited some people over to hang out while Sparky works on her Halloween costume, so if any of your characters would like Sparky's fashion expertise on creating a costume, or if they just want to hang out, have them show up whenever!***
Moki crouched down behind the bar, opening the small fridge and pulling out bottles of grape and cherry Gatorade. She closed it and stood back up, hopping up to sit on the edge of the bar, swinging herself around to the front and tossing the bottle of orange to Sparky, who had just dropped her bag of sewing supplies on the floor.
Sparky caught the bottle and winked at Moki, "thanks Coco, you're a sweetheart."
Moki shrugged her shoulders and took a sip from her bottle. "I can only do my best I guess!" Setting the bottle on the countertop, Moki leaned back on her hands and swung her long legs around in front of her. "So mistress of the material, what am I to be for Halloween?"
Sparky grinned, sitting on the table where her sewing machine was also sitting. "I have a few ideas. Whichever one I decide, though, you'll be totally hot. Don't worry."
"I'm not worried at all, because I have the best designer in the world!" Moki smiled and picked up her bottle, taking another sip.

A speedboat roared through the crystal waters. The figures of three individuals could be seen. It appeared to be two boys and girl.
The boat lost speed as it approached shore. Lancer could be seen steering the vehicle as a cigarette hung loosely from his lips. Teddy and Bp stood behind him, holding onto the sides of the boat for their dear lives. Their coke snorting friend was a genius, but a crazy driver.
Once they arrived at the docks, Lancer jumped out and tied the boat down. Teddy jumped out soon after and helped Bp out. Knowing and respecting Moki's wishes to keep the island clean, Lancer discarded his cigarette in the boat's ash tray.
The trio was looking forward to a nice time away from reality.

Loki was sitting on the deck in one of the wicker basket chairs, a science book on his lap, trying to read the chapter his mother had assigned him for homework. His heart just wasn't into it, especially since he knew his sister was having some friends over for a little pre-Halloween fun. Speaking of which he could hear a speed boat approaching. Sitting up he looked out into the lake, seeing the familiar boat of a few of his sister's friends. He stood up, throwing the book on the chair and heading into the room where Moki and Sparky were.
"Moko, more of your friends are here, they just pulled up in the boat. It's the rich kid and the other two, Teddy and BP? Just thought I'd be nice and let you know." He leaned back against the wall.
Moki winked at her brother. "Thanks bro, but mum told me you have a big science chapter to study, so don't even think about coming to hang out." She slipped off the counter and sauntered over to him, flinging an arm around his shoulder. "You have studying to do, wouldn't want mum to accuse me of interfering with your school work, luv." She pinched his cheek before heading out of the building, going to meet her friends.
Sparky smiled as she watched the two siblings interact. She walked over to Loki once Moki had walked out to the beach area, laying a sympathetic hand on his shoulder. "Stop by later and I'll make you a sweet angel of darkness costume. You'll be hotter than Mok. Well, not to me, but to the straight girls." She winked at him before leaving to join Sparky.

Lancer smiled as he watched Moki come out of the building. The three friends walked towards the island native, closing the distance between them.
"You just keep getting prettier every time I see you." Lancer smiled and embraced the girl in a hug. For once in his life, he was sober and planned on staying away from all for the remainder of the night.
"Hey Moki." Bp and Teddy spoke in unison. There was still some obvious tension between the two, but they weren't about to let that get in their way.

Moki let out a little squeal at Lancer's words and hugged him tightly, kissing his cheek in greeting. Even though she was gorgeous and exotic and guys always drooled over her, it was obvious the attention never got to her head. Compliments usually made her blush and squeal depending on how well she knew the person it came from. She pulled back from him and smiled. "Still charming as ever I see."
She hadn't noticed the tension between the other two, she never quite managed to pick up on many unpleasant feelings. She turned to Teddy and hugged him and kissed his cheek, then turned to BP and did the same. Moki liked the tell her friends that hugs and kisses were an island tradition, but in reality, she just liked hugging and kissing.
Sparky walked up to the group, a smile on her face as she watched Moki kissing everyone. She personally loved the girl's overt friendliness and physical affection. What lesbian in her right mind wouldn't, after all?
"Hello guys, nice to see you all." She looked at Lancer. "And it's nice to see your driving got everyone here safe and sound and without fear, that's a good sign. Maybe you should give Moki a lesson or two."
Moki's mouth dropped open in shock. "Hey! You told me you liked moving fast, and that's what I did! It's not my fault you can't keep a firm grip on things."
Sparky couldn't help but grin-- if only Moki had any idea of the secondary meanings to what she'd said, she was certain the island girl would be blushing deep enough to match her own hair. She walked over to Moki and put an arm around her shoulders. "That's right, my bad."

When Cara had heard about the little get-together on the island and that Sparky would be there to design some Halloween costumes, she had decided she needed to go. She was developing a serious crush on the red-head. The only problem she had was how to get there. Not that a boat-ride would have been all that expensive, but she had just recently spent all her allowance on some wonderful red fabric she wanted to make her dress from, and she rather not asked her father for money, knowing he'd disapprove of her going out having fun. He was always afraid that she'd behave badly or get herself into trouble, though the whole idea was ridiculous to Cara.
And so she had, though slightly reluctantly, turned to Vinnie for help. The boy had, after all, some connections to the Rosacci family, who in turn owned a small boat. It was a small speeder, not a yacht, but it would get her there. If only Vinnie could borrow the boat? Cara knew just how to play the boy, and so she was now sitting in the boat, speeding through the water toward the island.
What she hadn't expected was that by asking the boat for a loan from the Rosaccis Vinnie had piqued the interest of some family members. Chip, who had happened to be there when Vinnie had presented his request, liked the idea of a party of high-school-kids, rather identifying himself to the younger crowd in any case, and insisted that he and Dan go as well. After some persuasion, Dan agreed to go have a look-see. But he insisted he wouldn't stay.
How exactly Bright Eyes had been added to this group was a rather more interesting and unpredictable story. She, too, knew about the get-together, and as she was once-upon-a-time-friend of Moki's, she felt an interest toward going. It was pure coincidence that she had heard Cara and Vinnie talk about borrowing the boat, and as she felt slightly more confident talking to Cara than many others - she was, after all, not a bitch like some of the girls in school - she had approached her and asked if she could come with her. Cara was rather surprised, but said yes, as she had always rather respected Bee. Bee, for her part, thought it would be easier to go to a social situation if she was in a group than if she appeared alone.
So the little group of three guys and two girls arrived on a small speeder to the docks shortly after Lancer's little group had arrived. Vinnie, who had insisted on steering, brought the boat to a stop at the docks, and Chip jumped out of the boat agilely with the rope. He tied the boat down. Dan jumped out next, having not spotted Teddy and Bp - the only ones of the group he really would have recognised - and Vinnie, with a grin, offered to help Cara out. Cara rolled her eyes and jumped out of the boat without help. Chip helped Bee out, and then the little group turned to look at the other young folk gathered at the beach.
Cara walked forth first.
"Hi!" she greeted the others, waving a hand. "I hope you don't mind I brought some extra folk - but you know us Italians, crashing parties is our hobby."
Chip grinned.

Sparky turned to look as she heard the next group of people arriving. She saw Cara first and a smile sprung to her face. She let go of Moki and wandered off to greet the new group, looking a little further and seeing Chip as well. She knew Ace was planning on stopping by, she did have to work on his Halloween costume after all, so she thought she would be nice and let Chip know. But first, she came up to Cara and gave her a hug. "Cara! You came!" She had really come to appreciate Cara lately, mostly due to cheerleading. "And you brought others, most excellent." She turned to Bright Eyes, a little surprised to see her there. "Hey Bee, nice to see you."
She looked at the guys next, winking at Chip. She figured one of the other two must be Dan, she had heard about him, but who was the other? The guy Cara had mentioned who had a thing for her maybe?
"Hey guys, name's Sparky. Who're you two?" She smiled at Dan and Vinnie, waiting for an introduction.
Moki followed Sparky over to the other group, happy to see Bright Eyes here. The two hadn't really seen one another lately and it was always nice to catch up. She walked up to her, hugging her and kissing her cheek. "Been a while Bee, I'm happy you came." She gave her another big smile before turning to Cara, giving her the same greeting. She also looked at the guys, not having met any of them. She had no problem with strangers showing up though-- she trusted her friends to bring fun people.

Lancer smirked at Moki and Sparky. "I try."
Teddy and Bp happily returned the hugs and warm greetings. Bp even kissed Moki on the cheek. The two were just happy to get out for once. Life had really been getting to them. Maybe this was the break they needed.
The trio turned as they heard a boat engine clicking off. Bp and Teddy both wore the same shocked expression as their eyes landed on Dan. It was obvious that neither of them had been expecting his presence. Teddy couldn't help but to feel a bit annoyed. He was going to try and mend things between Bp and him, but the sight of Dan sent his plans up in flames.
Lancer simply shook his head at the two and walked away, heading for the new group. Those two could really be weird at times.
"Hey, I'm Lancer." A charming smile was plastered on the boy's lips as he held out his hand in greeting to the new group of people. His expression looked genuine, but in all reality, it was fake. The teen couldn't care less about much of anyone. Except for the rare few he considered friends.

Cara revelled in the hug, though she kept her feelings to herself. She smiled to Sparky, inside hoping that she really was as happy to see her there as she seemed to be.
Bee smiled shyly to Sparky, but as she turned away nearly instantly, she didn't bother to say anything. She was unsure of whether she should have come at all, until Moki came to greet her. That made her break into a wider smile. She still didn't say much, though - she had grown terribly silent lately.
"Hey guys, name's Sparky. Who're you two?" She smiled at Dan and Vinnie, waiting for an introduction.
"I'm Vinnie," Vinnie said with a grin, stepping forward. He wrapped a casual arm around Cara's shoulders and tried to look as "cool" as he could. "Though some do call me 'Winner'."
Cara, whose face was well out of sight of Vinnie, rolled her eyes and made a "blah blah blah" face to Sparky. Chip, who was in an angle with a clear view on her face, grinned.
"And some just ignore you altogether, coz," Chip said, stating their blood-connection casually. He wasn't afraid to admit that Vinnie was a relative of his, and it seemed to annoy the other boy to be called "coz". Chip was all about annoying Vinnie.
Vinnie glared at him.
Dan, who had no need to try and play it cool as he had quite enough of "cool" naturally, smiled to Sparky and Moki in a rather languid manner.
"Dan," he introduced himself. "You'd probably know me as Sweetheart's brother."
His eyes then hit Teddy and Bp, and his expression changed a little. He had not expected to see them, and he wasn't sure how to react to the sight of them. On the one hand he was happy to see Bp there. On the other... should he have felt suspicious that Teddy hadn't asked Sweetheart to come with him there?
"Bp, Teddy," he said, clear surprise ringing in his voice. "I didn't know you'd be here." He smiled and looked straight to Bp now. "Though I have to say I'm not particularly disappointed."
Chip, who was slightly more perceptive than Dan, had managed to catch the shock on Teddy's and Bp's face before Dan noticed them. A slight frown went over his forehead. He had a nose for relationship problems, and somehow he could sense there might have been something there. He knew Bp, of course... but by the looks of it, he might not have had the full story.
Lancer simply shook his head at the two and walked away, heading for the new group. Those two could really be weird at times.
"Hey, I'm Lancer." A charming smile was plastered on the boy's lips as he held out his hand in greeting to the new group of people.
Dan being preoccupied with Bp and Teddy, Chip felt it best to greet Lancer for all of them.
"Nice to meet you," he said, taking Lancer's hand. He looked the boy over thoughtfully while smiling friendly-like and shaking his hand. Something about Lancer's eyes. Chip was reminded of a few boys he'd known. Drugs tended to leave their mark on a guy. He couldn't be sure, and he couldn't quite place what in Lancer's eyes seemed so "off" to him, but he knew there was something there. "I'm Chip. You might've seen me around the school, I work there in the IT department."
Not that he counted the little IT team of Meadowbrook High as an actual "department", but it sounded fancier.

Sparky definitely knew that Vinnie was the guy Cara had mentioned once before who couldn't take a hint. A devious sparkle in her eyes, she tried to keep from snorting when he mentioned the nickname "Winner". When Chip made his comment she grinned, looking back at Vinnie. "Winner, huh? I think I'll call you Wiener instead." Sticking her tongue out slightly at Vinnie she walked up to he and Cara and shoved his arm off of her shoulder, putting her own there. "If you don't mind, Wiener, Cara and I have something important to discuss. Over here." She pulled Cara with her over to the other side of Lancer, who was currently shaking hands with Chip. She had nothing that important to discuss with Cara, she had just figured the other girl wouldn't mind being saved from Vinnie.
Moki smiled as she watched Sparky tease Vinnie, welcoming the three boys to the island. Once done she looked back at Bright Eyes, noticing how silent she was. She went over and stood next to her, nudging her slightly with her elbow. Leaning over to speak in her ear, Moki whispered. "You haven't turned into a mute on me, have you Bee?"
Standing beside Lancer, Sparky was tempted to make a comment about how Chip's office was the one Ace had a habit of visiting during the day, but she decided not to be so overt for once. Ace had asked her after all to keep her mouth shut, at least for now. But when she heard another speed boat in the water she turned to look, wondering if it was Ace. At least it seemed to be a good opportunity to bring him up. "Hmm, wonder who that boat belongs to? I know Ace said he'd be coming by today, I have to finish measuring him for his costume after all." She winked at Chip before turning to look back at the water, getting a better view of the boat as it approached. "But there is a second person in there, he didn't say anything about that."

Teddy and Bp both smiled. Bp laughed a little, though not out of nervousness. "I wasn't expecting to see you, either." Her smile softened. "But I'm glad you're here."
Bp made a move to walk toward Dan, but was stopped when Teddy said her name quietly. Ice blue eyes stared up at the boy. "I have to talk to you later." Teddy's voice was hushed as he spoke.
"Ok." Bp nodded a little warily. It was obvious that Teddy wasn't feeling all that great. "Just let me know when." Teddy nodded and watched Bp walk toward Dan. This night was going to suck. He regretted having not asked Sweetheart to come. Though, he could always call her and arrange for Lancer and him to pick her up or something.
As Chip shook his hand, Lancer noticed that he was being studied. It was clear that the man was about to let anything slip past him. "Yeah, I've seen you and Ace talking before." His comment didn't mean anything. Mainly because he had no idea of the relationship Chip had with his friend.
While everyone else was getting acquainted, Phineas was holding on for his dear life. There was something about boats that unnerved him. He figured it must have had something to do with his childhood.
"You're going to leave me to fend for myself, aren't you, you bastard?" Phin smiled at Ace playfully. He had no problem with being thrown into situations that forced him to make new friends.

Ace glanced at Phin as he manoevered the speed boat-- which he had borrowed from his mother's boyfriend Jan, a devious smile on his face. "That depends on who else is there. Besides, Moki will take care of you. She goes ridiculously out of her way to make people feel comfortable." He looked back out in the waves, the smile softening a little. "Honestly though, I wouldn't leave you on your own. At least not at first. I do have to introduce you around first and show off my new lackey after all." Ace looked back at him and grinned. He and Phin had really reached a comfortable friendship in the past day.

Phin smiled. "I'll be the finest lackey, yet." He winked at the blonde.
In all honesty, he had Phin had no idea what to expect. The kids at Meadowbrook were a lot different than the ones back in England. Then again, kids in England were fucking crazy.

[[oo Phin's gonna be here. Now I definitely have to get Brit here somehow! Two English kids together. Any ideas?]] When Chip made his comment she grinned, looking back at Vinnie. "Winner, huh? I think I'll call you Wiener instead." Sticking her tongue out slightly at Vinnie she walked up to he and Cara and shoved his arm off of her shoulder, putting her own there. "If you don't mind, Wiener, Cara and I have something important to discuss. Over here." She pulled Cara with her over to the other side of Lancer, who was currently shaking hands with Chip.Vinnie's expression grew even darker, and he was about to open his mouth for a retort, when Sparky took Cara away. He felt silly shouting something back then, and chose to snort instead as though he didn't care, and turn round to look at the others. His eye fell upon Moki and Bee. Especially Moki. In addition to Italian girls, he liked exotic girls. He had never seen Moki before, but wished he had. She was cute. [[mans I just realised Jas probably would have a ride with Vinnie. He's so easy to use. *lol* Nevermind.]] Bee smiled to Moki, giving a little laugh even. "I'm sorry," she said. "It's been a while since I've really been... involved with people. I'm out of practice. So, tell me, what's new with you these days?" Cara, for her part, was extremely grateful to Sparky, and leaned onto her, wrapping her own arm round her as well, smiling. "Thanks," she whispered to her so that Vinnie couldn't hear her. She grinned. "I'll have to keep the 'Wiener' in mind. That ought to soothe his feelings a little, if I shove it at his face sometime in the restaurant - in front of my brothers. Gods, you'd think he'd give up already." She glanced over to Vinnie and followed his eyes to Moki. She had to grin a little more. "I'd warn Moki if I were you. I think I know what that look means." Chip was instantly alerted, when Sparky mentioned Ace, and looked over to the boat as well. There was just the slightest change in his body language - something passed in his eyes that a sharp observer might have interpreted easily as affection. He had not seen Ace in a little while, and he had noticed himself missing him already. He held any comments to himself, however, as he watched the boat near in. Lancer's note made him smile a bit though. "Yeah, we know each other," he said. "He's a cool kid." Now Chip had a bit of an issue, however. He would have wanted to behave with Ace the way they could when they were alone. Maybe even cuddle a little. But he couldn't. There were too many of the wrong crowd there. Especially Vinnie. That thought made Chip stiffen just a little, and his body language changed to a little more rebuffing. Vinnie couldn't find out. He'd tell Mario in a second. He started to regret coming. As for Dan, he was feeling completely the opposite. He smiled when Bp came to him, and wrapped his arms round her waist, lifted her up in the air, against himself and kissed her on the lips passionately. Then he grinned. "I was going to call you later," he said. "Thought you might like to do something with me tonight."

Moki smiled at Bee's comment, wishing that her old friend was more social. When she was asked what was new with her though, she grabbed Bee's arm and shook it a little. "I got a modelling job with Billabong! They're a clothing company that caters to the surfer crowd. It was amazing Bee, they came here to the island and brought a few other models, then got us to put on their clothes and took shots of us on the beach and in the water! I'm going to be in their new catalogue. Isn't that exciting?! Loki was so jealous." She grinned, knowing her brother had badly wanted to be photographed as well, but they'd already had all the models they needed and their parents never would have said yes.
Sparky smiled at Cara's comment, watching Vinnie as he stared at Moke. "Wow, very true. Poor Moki probably wouldn't have any idea how to react, the girl's a sweetheart but she's so naive, especially for being so hot. Definitely have to keep Vinnie away from her." She looked back at Chip, noting the change in expression for the brief moment, realizing that she would have to find a way to let the guys have a few moments alone together.
