Making Dresses (Saturday)

Em blinked as Sparky untangled herself from the her embrace, but she soon smiled again. "That would be nice." She nodded, completely unaware of the problems her presence was creating.

The girl looked around the room, doing her best to take in her surroundings. She had never seen anything like this before, at least not that she could remember. Her memories from the days before the island were too faded.


[I'll do whatever y'all want. ]

Sparky smiled and winked at Cara. "Don't worry, I'll get you something nice." The girls walked over to the far side of the room where the bar was (currently unattended though) and ducked down behind it where the fridge was located.

Moki opened the door and started pulling drinks out, glancing at Sparky. "Maybe you ought to stick your head in there, Sparkly," she said low enough to not carry to where the other girls were sitting.

Sparky looked at her friend and stuck her tongue out, helping Moki with the drinks.



As that was happening the door to the room nearest the bar opened and in sauntered Loki. He glanced around momentarily before spotting the girls, a smile on his face when he saw Emmaline. He quickly made his way over to her, "Emma! Well hello love, fancy seeing you here, come up for a visit have you?" He sat himself down beside her, embracing her in a tight hug and kissing her cheek. He'd just come in after racing around on the sand dunes with some of the local kids, so there was sand in his hair and on his clothes. His hair was uncharacteristacally all over the place, obviously having been blown around due to the high speeds of the 4-wheelers.

Upon hearing her brother's voice Moki stood up, looking quite happy. "Loko! I was wondering where you were, playing in the sand again I take it?"

Dom had been glancing over his shoulder every couple of minutes, just in case there was another charge coming at his other kidney. Not paying complete attention to where he was going the younger teen hadn't noticed that he had already entered the room where the others where. He barely turned around in time just inches from colliding with Brit. A somewhat sheepish smile graced his face. He should have apologized for almost running the girl over, but didn't. He was already busy scanning the room to see who all was there. Spotting Loki his face brightened. Keeping all comments about being let out of the dungeon to himself, he heard footsteps behind him. No doubt the others catching up.

Melody had a way of taking in everything in a room at once and seeing who all was there, as well as who wasn't. Tucking a strand of hair behind one ear she smiled. Not the most confident of smiles, but she smiled. Feeling a little more at ease next to Flint she stayed where she was.

Brit went to grab a drink as Moki loaded them out of the fridge. She didn't particularly care which kind of one it was, and snatched the first that caught her eyes. She went with it quickly back closer to the door as Loki came in, checking him over with interest. It seemed that the party was picking up a tad.

More than a tad, she noticed, when Dom nearly collided with her. She stepped back, but smiled right back to the boy, not the least bit worried that he had nearly toppled her. He was kind of cute - though didn't appear quite the kind of crowd she usually saw herself with.

[[Dom isn't especially fashionable, yes? I took a quick look at his bio but I don't want to make any mistakes ]]

"Brilliant!" she said with her clear British accent when the new folk seemed to be pouring in. A bit absent-mindedly she wondered where the gorgeous British boy had vanished to. "Now maybe this'll turn up a real party. New folks, grab drinks, make yourselves comfortable, ey? I'm Brittany, the new girl of the block." She looked at Dom, mainly, as he was the closest to her. "How about some introductions?"


Cara smiled to Sparky as a response and then was quiet again. When more people entered she didn't know what to say or what to do. She wasn't especially good with people and didn't feel herself comfortable in crowds. So she decided to just wait until she might be offered a chance to react by others.

[Nope, Dom isn't even close. He wears jeans, quite often with holes in the knees. Canvas tennis shoes. And t-shirts.]


Not paying attention to the accent at all, Dom just smiled as the girl spoke. It was familiar but than that was most likely because Harle had the same accent.

"Just moved to town?" Dom asked trying to be polite, "I'm Dom." The teen stated not bothering with his full first name.

Running a hand through his longer blond hair he pushed it out of his eyes. There seemed to be lack of guys around here.

"What'd you girls do banish the boys from the room?" Dom asked jokingly.

Mel felt like ducking back out of the door and running back to the beach. Ignoring that feeling she smiled a little brighter when Brit introduced herself. Fresh blood. Grand. With any luck certain people hadn't already informed the girl that she was the school tart. Or had been. But than Mel wasn't so sure that even if the girl didn't already know of her past that she'd be all that interested in being friends.

Not moving from where she stood, it almost appeared as though she were peeking out from behind Flint's shoulder as she spoke, "Nice to meet you Brit. I'm Melody."

Finishing with the drinks, Sparky stood up and looked at the new batch of people who'd shown up. She noticed her little brother standing next to Melody, something which earned him a raised eyebrow as she looked at him. She walked back over to the group with Moki and handed out the drinks before walking over to the new group.

"Hello guys! Nice to see you here Flinty, don't tell me you came to hang out with your big sister, how sweet of you." Without giving him a chance to react, Sparky threw her arms around her brother and squeezed quite hard.

Flint squirmed around with Sparky stuck to him. "Ow, hey not so hard, I like my body in one piece!" He hugged her back and she let him go, pinching his cheek first.

Sparky turned to Melody, her arms sliding around the other girl and hugging her. "Melly! You came, I'm happy." Sparky leaned her head a little closer though, whispering into Melody's ear. "As luck would have it, you just missed Ace. He left with his new boyfriend, but keep that to yourself. I'll fill you in later." Sparky grinned and winked, hoping that Melody would still stay and have fun.


When Moki made it back over to the others she immediately flopped down on Loki's lap, hugging her brother and kissing him on the cheek and she brushing sand out of his hair. "Oh honestly Loki, at least brush the sand off before you come in." She playfully smacked him light on the cheek before standing up and greeting the others. She said hello to the others before hugging Slugger, who was the closest.


Loki didn't bother to get up to greet the others yet, he remained on the couch and simply looked back at the others over his shoulder and saying hello before turning back to Emmaline. "You see, I start trends. I came in and they all followed." He winked at her before grabbing his sister's bottle from the table and taking a sip of her juice.

Melody's smile instantly brightened when she saw Sparky. There was a spark of amusement in her eyes as she watched Flint and Sparky interact with one another. When Flint made the comment about liking his body in one piece, Mel almost said she did too.

Returning the hug the girl said, "Hi Sparks! So glad your here."

Mel kept any sort of expression, surprise, disappointment or nervousness from her face when Sparky mentioned Ace having been here and leaving with his new boyfriend. On one hand she was thrilled Ace had found someone. On the other she wanted to kick herself for having missed him.

Simply nodding her head in reply, Melody promised to keep this new piece of information to herself. She wasn't the kind to gossip anyway.

Dom rolled his eyes at Loki's comment before looking at Slugger, "Don't tell me our fearless leader has turned into a sheep."

The boy waited for the headlock, arm punch, whatever was coming. Unless Slugger did something completely out of character, which wasn't likely in front of so many there wasn't anything the older teen could do that would faze him.

Slugger kissed Moki on the cheek in greeting as was the norm with her, returning the hug as well. It was quite rare for him to be physically affectionate like that with anyone, but Moki was special. She seemed to bring out the cuddler in everyone. Slugger was about to reply to Loki's comment before Dom did, but was stopped when the other boy made the sheep comment. Immediately a frown creased his face and he glared at Dom. "I am not a sheep. In fact I am the shepherd, closely watching my flock and herding them where I want them. If it weren't for hearing about my presence on the island, Loki would still be outside playing in the sandbox. And from the looks of it, he'd probably be eating the sand instead of just playing." Slugger grinned and waited for Loki to make an exclamation against it.


After finishing with Slugger, Moki approached Flint and gave him a hug and kiss, then turned to Melody. "Eee, what a surprise! Hello Mel, lovely to see you!" She hugged Melody and kissed her cheek, excited to see the girl again as it had been a while since they'd last seen one another and Moki simply adored meeting up with friends.


Sparky gave Flint a look that said she wanted to talk to him while Moki hugged Melody, very curious if anything had transpired between the two. Then she walked over to Dom and promptly threw her arms around him, hugging her brother's friend. "Dominono, nice to see you!" She loved using nicknames for people, but she especially loved using them on Flint's friends. "You guys made it at a good time, I'm in the midst of creating Halloween costumes for everyone. Oh and you must all meet our newest friend, a special little island gem Moki has been keeping all to herself." Sparky winked at Moki before wandering over to the couch. With the addition of new people, she had quickly gotten her hormones in check.

"Damn. Guess that means we're the sheep." Dom stated with a sigh before adding in, "Baa."

Mel was sucked in by Moki's enthusiasm and squealed along with her. It had been far too long since she had last been to the island.

"Moki! Great to see you again. How have you been?" Mel asked as she returned the hug and gave the charming native a peck on the cheek.

Dom grinned before giving Sparky a hug in return. Always happy to see her.

"Really? So what are you working on now?" Dom asked before lowering his voice, "Or should I ask who?"

It hadn't taken a rocket scientist to figure out who Sparky was talking about. Someone would have had to have been blind to miss Em. The girl was definitely something to admire.

Moki smiled excitedly when Melody asked her how she'd been. "Excellent! I haven't seen you since my exciting news late in the summer after all! I did some modelling for Billabong, it'll be going in their next catalogue. It was pretty exciting, they brought the rest of the models here to the resort actually, so I got to show off my home to them all. They were all lovely, it was exciting. They now want me to go down to the tropics for another shoot! How amazing is that? Finally the modelling dreams are starting to shine for me." She smiled excitedly, extremely pleased with life.


Sparky heard Dom's comment and turned her head back and grinned. "I was just finishing up with Cara actually, before we were interupted by Moki. Halloween night I'm going to turn my lovely little Cara into pure sexiness, aren't I?" Sparky looked over at Cara and winked, licking her lips seductively in a joking manner.

Melody's eyes widen as Moki spoke; "I am so excited for you! That is awesome Moki. Congratulations!"

Throwing her arms around the other girl Mel gave Moki a squeeze. She couldn't have been more happy for her than if her own dreams were coming true. Somehow the other teen always knew the exotic native would make it. How could she not? A genuine and delighted smile was on Mel's face as she let Moki go.

Dom's eyes went from Sparky to Cara, "With you designing it I'm sure she'll be pure sex."

Turning his eyes back to Sparky he grinned. The girl undoubtedly would make costumes that would have people talking for weeks if not months.

Sparky looked back at Dom and grinned. "Thanks babe, I appreciate the support. However, you just gave me an idea. You guys should let me make you costumes too. I could make Slug a shepherd outfit and all of you could be his sheep!" Sparky grinned, visualizing it in her mind already. It would be quite a bit of work, but well worth it to see Loki, Dom and Flint in nothing but sheepskin and fur. She had a feeling Slugger would jump at the idea.

"Hey, I'm all for that. You've got all the answers as usual, Sparks." Slugger grinned amusedly, wondering if the others would ever contemplate it. He could rock a shepherd outfit, it would be grungy enough to be cool.

Dom could almost see the gears in Slugger's head working when Sparky made her suggestion. A sheep? Well it could be worse. Right? Than again, maybe not.

"So what we'd be wearing a furry loincloth and some ears?" Dom made a face, "So not happening."

Mel grinned devilishly, "You know the loincloth would be sexy."

"My ass is not for public display." Dom stated arms across his chest.

[Kat]

"Don't worry Dom, you're the baby sheep after all. I could put you in a diaper." Sparky grinned mischievously at him, amused that he had walked right into that comment.

"Hey, I'd willingly bare my ass to see that!" Flint had originally been horrified at the idea of a sheep costume, but he had faith his sister wouldn't make him look bad.

Loki, however, adored the idea. "You're a genius, Sparks! Could I be a ram though, and have the horns on my head? I think that'd be quite striking."
