Dan sighed.
"You are so mean to me."
[[EDIT: Hahahaha this is probably the shortest post I have ever made in my entire life!]]

Sparky grinned at Britt's comment, nodding her head. "Okay well while I have these ideas in my head, I need to sketch these things out." She headed over to the table where her bag was sitting on the floor, pulling out her sketchbook. Like many fashion designers, Sparky had quite a flare for drawing the human figure. She flipped the book open and picked up a pencil. When she looked down at the book though, she noted that she had flipped it open to a picture she had drawn of Jules. The last night they'd spent together, Sparky had woken early in the morning when the light was just starting to filter into the room, deciding on a whim to draw her sleeping girlfriend. She stared at the picture for a moment before flipping it to a blank page.
Putting her pencil against the paper she quickly began a sketch of the four outfits she had envisioned in her head, using the art to block Jules out of her mind. As much as she hated to admit it, she really missed Jules.

[[yes, yes we do ^-^]] Dan could only laugh. He realised he was totally in her leash - but she was right. He was loving it. Cara noticed Sparky staring at her notebook for a while and walked just a little closer to take a quick peek at what she was looking at. Seeing the girl drawn on the notebook she felt a weight settle over her heart. She was jealous. Brit, of course, didn't notice anything of what Sparky or Cara were doing. She had taken her concentration back on the half-made dress she held in her hands, fingering it thoughtfully. She wondered how it would look like with some glitter on it. She liked glitter.

Sparky hadn't noticed Cara looking over her shoulder until she started to sketch the outfits. Without looking away from the paper, she spoke to Cara. "Hey, I'm drawing yours first. So stand in front of me so I can sketch you more easily."
Content that everyone was fine on their own, Moki excused her and went outside, looking for her brother. *Moki moving to other thread*

Cara smiled instantly to Sparky, a little embarrassed that she had caught her. She hoped the other girl hadn't noticed anything odd about her expression, or noticed her looking at the drawing of Jules, either. Her face brightened a little when she said she'd draw her first, though.
"Great!" she said and circled round her to stand in front of Sparky. "How should I pose?" she asked with a smile, making a flashy model-pose.

Sparky smiled and watched Cara pose in front of her. "tand with your legs apart, hip jutted out towards me and your hand on that hip, excellent! Maybe I should recruit you to model for me. You got a nice natural stance." Sparky winked at her and started sketching what she had in mind for Cara. She thought the other girl would look articularly hot in extremely short shorts, cut very low. She'd noticed that Cara had a nice body when they changed at cheer practice and hoped the other wouldn't mind showing it all off. She grinned to herself like she was planning something devious as she continued to sketch.

Cara posed - feeling a little suspicious over Sparky's devious grin, but all in all rather flattered that she drew her - well, a dress for her, but at that moment it was all the same to her. She hoped that Sparky might have been checking her out.
And instantly felt horrible for thinking that.
Inwardly she sighed. What is wrong with me?!

Ace walked into the room where everyone else was, walking in front of Chip. He scanned around the room quickly with his eyes, a little upset that Moki wasn't here. He didn't really want to leave without saying goodbye to her, especially since it had been so long since they'd hung out. But more than that he wanted to have more time alone with Chip.
He walked over to where Sparky was sitting with her sketchbook, drawing Cara. He raised a brow as he walked up to her, wondering what she was up to. He smiled at Cara before tapping Sparky on the shoulder. "Hey Willi, I'm taking off for the night. So we're sadly going to have to re-schedule my measurements."
Sparky had been drawing Cara's outfit when she heard footsteps approach her. When Ace tapped her shoulder she finished the lines she was drawing before looking up at him. "I see, more important matters to attend to?" Sparky grinned as she looked up at him, having a pretty good idea of why he was leaving. Or at least who was behind the reason. "Alright hon, maybe tomorrow. You'll probably have some things to tell me about anyway, right?" Sparky winked at him.
Ace glanced up at Cara before looking back down at Sparky. "And so, apparently, do you." He leaned down to give her a hug, kissing her on the cheek. "I do need to talk to you though, so I'll call you tomorrow." He stood back up and said a quick goodbye to Cara, nodded to Britt, then turned and started walking toward BP and Dan. He did want to warn her about what had happened between he and Teddy.

Chip remained a few steps back as Ace walked to Sparky. Dan and Bp were still fairly close to the door, and Chip looked at his oldest friend a little carefully while waiting that Ace would finish talking to Sparky. Dan answered his gaze with a rather calm face, only a slight frown betraying that he was suspicious. Chip moved casually closer, deciding to wait until Ace came to them before breaking any news to Dan. Not that he could tell him the full truth with all these people around, but still.
Cara looked at Ace with the slightest hint of guilt in her expression before she could correct herself, when he looked at her. She managed to get a hold of herself before she was too obvious, though, and smiled a bit to Ace. It was a friendly sort of a smile. She wasn't generally too impressed with Ace, but he was Sparky's friend. And any friend of Sparky's had to have some good in them, after all.
"And so, apparently, do you."
This made Cara blush a little around the ears, though she tried to hide it by throwing her short hair over her ears. Had Ace noticed something? Oh my God, she thought, I'm just going to die if he did and if he's going to say anything to Sparky. But he couldn't have, could he? He's not that sharp-eyed... is he? She was barely able to remain calm as she nodded in answer to Ace.
Brit, as usual, was oblivious. She smiled to Ace widely and waved to him. After he'd walked over to Bp and Dan, she moved to Sparky's side and wrapped an arm round her shoulders.
"Who's the hunk?" she asked with a sparkle in her eyes. She had seen Ace around the school, of course, but she didn't really know who he was. One of the popular crowd, to be sure.
As Ace walked closer to them, Dan straightened his back a little and regarded the boy with a closed expression that betrayed no feeling whatsoever. He was still not especially trusting toward Ace, and he had seen the way Chip had looked at the boy. The last time his friend had had an expression similar to that in his eyes had been... long ago, and Dan didn't like the connection.
"Dan," Chip started when Ace got to them, "I'll be taking off as well. I don't know if I'll be home tonight though. I might make other arrangements." He smiled a little. This was not the moment he wanted to divulge to Dan the real nature of the relationship between himself and Ace.
Dan looked at him from under his brows, shrugging a little.
"Yeah, okay," he just said, but from his voice it was clear to Chip that he meant more than he said. A slight frown touched Chip's brow for a moment before vanishing again. He was too tired to fully decipher what Dan possibly really wanted to say.

Sparky grinned when Brit asked about Ace. "That would be my best friend in the entire world, Ace. He likes to act like your typical snobby jerk at school, most people think he's nothing more than a snobby jerk, but he's really actually the greatest guy ever." Sparky glanced briefly at Ace before grinning and returning to Brit. "No actually, I guess he is a snobby jerk a lot of the time, but he's really a sweet boy underneath it all. He let me move in with him for three months when my father kicked me out of my house after all and he cooked for me and did my laundry and everything; he's so domesticated but don't tell anyone that, he'd kill me." She laughed, imagining his expression if he'd overheard that. She looked back at both girls and shrugged. "A lot of people just don't get to see that side of him, sadly. It kind of breaks my heart that everyone thinks he's just a stuck up jerk, honestly." She looked into Brit's face and grinned. "And even though I am a total lesbo, I still think he's ridiculously hot and were I ever to make out with a guy, it would definitely be him."
Ace walked over to where the three were standing, glancing between Chip and Dan and frowning. He wasn't entirely certain, but he had the feeling Dan wasn't exactly his biggest fan. Deciding to leave that to Chip, he stopped beside BP and laid a hand on her arm. "I need to talk to you for a minute. Well, it's more of a warning then anything else really." He wore an expression on his face that made it obvious that whatever he wanted to talk about, he really wanted her to hear.

Bp watched quietly as Ace approached. She could tell by the boy's facial expression and body language that something wasn't right. Her fears were only confirmed as he spoke.
"Okay..." She nodded her head. "What's wrong?"

Ace pulled her away from Dan a little, his hand still on her arm. "I think it's safe to say that Teddy and I are through." Ace frowned and looked into her eyes, "god BP, I was such an asshole to him just now. I'd tell you the whole story but yeah it's not important at the moment. Just when you see him, you might not want to bring my name up anytime soon. I just wanted to let you know before you go home. Hopefully Sweetheart will calm him down tonight, but then again she probably hates me even more now..."

Brittany listened to Sparky with great interest. He didn't really care if Ace really was a jerk, she didn't get emotionally hung up on people anyway, but it was interesting to find that he was that complicated. And at the last comment she really grinned.
"Oh, I so know what you mean," she said with a bit of a giggle, eying Ace's back, her eyes stopping at the buttocks. "He's awful cute though. Don't tell me no one's scooped him up yet? Or is he one of those guys who would have a girl in every town if he were a sailor?" She was curious, actually. He didn't look like the kind of guy who would be without a girlfriend. Or a boyfriend. But she hadn't got that far in her thinking yet.
As Ace pulled Bp away from Dan a little, Chip walked to his old friend and bumped his hip against the other man - mainly because he still kept the blanket around him and rather didn't get out from under it. He really wanted some dry clothes. He was getting too cold, it wasn't a good sign.
"Hey, man, what's wrong? Think you won't get any tonight?" He wore a teasing smile, but Dan's only response was a shrug.
"We'll see," he answered, his eyes on Ace and Bp while the two conversed, but then he looked at Chip again. "So what's the deal with you two? You gonna go to his place to fuck or what?"
Chip was rather shocked by that question. So shocked in fact he could do nothing but give a short nervous laugh as an answer.
"I wouldn't use the f-word just yet," he said then, however. "But yeah, I'll probably go to his place. Why?"
Dan shrugged, looking a little sulking as he looked at Chip from underneath his dark red hair.
"No reason," he said with a voice that told Chip there was a reason. But Dan wouldn't divulge. "Have fun."
It didn't sound genuine enough, but Chip was too cold and tired. He suddenly decided he just didn't care. He shook his head.
"You too, man."
He didn't sound genuine, either, but there seemed to be nothing more either of them wanted to say for the moment. Chip started moving toward the door, to wait there until Ace was ready. Dan crossed his arms over his chest and seemed still sulky.

Bp's expression went through a number of changes a Ace spoke. Ace was one of her best friends, but Teddy... was the love of her life. "Ace..." For once in the teen's life, she looked extremely worried. "What did you say to him?"
