A Painful Monday (Monday after beach party)

[Eh, I was wondering this myself.. but.... I'd like to say that she talked to Ace early this morning... I'll have to see if that's ok with Kat. I really don't know. ::whacks Bp:: This gal has a mind of her own. ;) And as for the questions, ask away! It could get interesting! XD]


Bp merely smiled at Dan, unsure of what he was thinking. Not that it mattered at the moment, anyway. She was happy... for the first time in a long time, and that was all that mattered indeed.

Her smile turned into a grin and she hopped off of Dan's lap and stood infront of him. "One ultimate hangover cure coming up." With that said, the girl bounded into the kitchen.

She didn't bother with small talk as she set about collecting a glass, some tomatoe juice, cough syrup and liquor. And... the secret ingrediant - a smige of sugar, just because. Now, while mixing the drink, she was sure to hide the ingrediants from Dan... he wouldn't touch it if he knew what was in it.

Wasting no time, Bp huried herself over the man sitting on the couch and held out the glass. "Beware, it tastes like shit."


[[Omg, that sounds so gross. I don't even know if you can drink that without gagging. lmao]]

Dan took the glass with a rather suspicious look in his eyes. He stared at the ingredients for a while, then looked at Bp.

"Uh.. what's in it?" Then he realised that ignorance might be bliss in this case and continued: "Or never mind. I don't even want to know."

He grimaced a little and took the glass onto his lips. Sipping a little, his face contorted into a disgusted expression. He paused for a while, making a face, and then put the glass onto his lips again and gulped the whole thing down as quickly as he could. Afterwards, he had to cover his mouth with his hand so as not to gag.

"Oh my God what was in that thing?!" he exclaimed.

[[we'll see if he gets around to the questions. Oh and we can technically move this forward from the Sunday if we do a little editing and if Bp decides to miss her classes for one morning.]]

Bp placed a hand to her mouth in order to stop herself from chuckling. She loved the way people reacted to that shit, not that she could blame them. It was disgusting. But it worked.

"You're better off not knowing." She smiled and took the glass from Dan, then walked to the sink and rinsed it out. Setting the glass on the counter, she turned to look at the man. Her mouth opened as if she were going to say something, then closed again.

After a minute of staring blankly at him, Bp turned her attention back to the glass as she washed it and put it away. Her mind was off in another world. One question in particular nagged at her. Where was this relationship going?

Dan watched Bp go rinse the glass, trying to recover from the taste. It did seem to work, though. Perhaps it was just the utter shock of the taste, but he didn't really care. The main thing was his head seemed a little clearer.

When Bp just stared at him for a few moments, having seemed like she was about to say something, Dan's mind rolled with the thoughts and questions he hadn't dared to utter. True, he had asked her at the beach party where they were going, and then she had said she wasn't serious, or at least that's what he'd concluded from her words.

But the word "love" had a strong effect on Dan. You didn't talk about love lightly. You just didn't do it. Never. It was unthinkable to him that a girl might say she loved him and then just shrug on it. And Bp had seemed to get so exhilarated when he'd said it back. Maybe she had changed her mind?

When she turned again to the sink, he wondered if she might have wanted to say just that when she'd seemed like there was something she was going to say. It would feel embarrassing, he could imagine, after everything that had went on.

Be it as it may, curiosity was killing him now. Slowly he got up from the couch and walked to Bp, wrapping his arms round her waist and leaning his chin on her shoulder as he pressed his chest against her back.

"Would you ever consider being serious with me?" he asked quietly, holding her rather casually but still tight. He felt he had to keep a firm grip so as not to shake, though he wasn't sure if he was trembling - maybe it was just his heart that was beating too fast. "Like... dating-serious. Real dating."

He hoped she knew what he meant. Of course they were dating as it was, but it wasn't the kind of dating that would lead to marriage. At least, so Dan had so far thought.

As Dan's arms wrapped around her waist, Bp practically melted. How was it that everything suddenly felt so right? What had happened? Did her little slip up with Ace make her realize that she was an idiot for not seeing what she had right in front of her? No matter.... the point was she was happy with Dan.

As the older man spoke, the girl's heart sped up. Being monogamous was a risky business. She hadn't done it since Blake... and well, that experience left her more than a little wary. But Dan wasn't Blake. He wasn't even close.

Slowly, a smile formed on the teen's face and she nodded. "Yes." She turned to face him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I think I could be very happy with you. Just you."

Okay, well, we'll then say that Bp and Ace talked on Sunday and this is Monday morning, and Dan is hangover because he decided to get pissed on Sunday evening as well, because Chip didn't come home (I think Chip would have just been hanging out and then going to sleep at his dad's place for once). That cool?]]


Dan thought his heart would stop when the word "yes" dropped from Bp's lips. He swallowed, gulping down a lump the size of a boulder, or so it felt. He had difficulty in processing what she had just said as she draped herself onto him. He stared down into her eyes with an incredulous expression.

"Just... me?" he repeated, his voice rather thick with emotion. "But... I thought..." He swallowed again and then a careful smile found its way to his lips. "You mean it?"

He didn't notice it, but he was beaming.

The smile on Bp's lips grew bright with happiness as she watched Dan's reaction. He was happy.... she was happy. This wasn't normal for her.

As she stared up at the older man, those icy blue orbs of hers began to glimmer. Suddenly, she wasn't afraid anymore.

"You mean it?"

A small, breathless chuckle escaped through her lips as her smile grew wider, and she nodded furiously. Her eyes were tearing up now as she nodded and hugged Dan tight. It felt like a movie to her.

It felt like a dream to Dan. He wondered if he'd conked his head last night or something. Still, as Bp nodded and hugged him, he didn't really care if it was a hallucination. He might as well enjoy it while it lasted, and then if he didn't wake up after all to notice it was a dream, all the better.

He hugged her tight at first, then suddenly grinned and grabbed her better, actually lifting her up from the waist, into a strong bear-hug. He pulled back his head a little, still holding her up, and grinned wildly to her.

"Now, this certainly calls for a celebration," he said, and then his eyes caught a naughty glimmer and one of his hands slid downward to rest on her bottom. He could never get over how hot she was. "I think I have an excellent suggestion for what we could do to celebrate a little."

Bp let out a squeal of excitement as she was hoisted into the air. Instinctively, her legs wrapped themselves around Dan's waist and she smiled.

"Oh really?" The smile turned into a smirk and she tossed a stray strand of wavy hair behind her shoulder. "Exactly what kind of a celebration are we talking about?"

[Cres]

Dan smirked as he turned and lifted Bp sitting on the table that worked as a sort of breaker between the kitchen and the living room. He didn't let go of her though and let her keep her feet wrapped around him as he leaned over to kiss her on the neck in a teasing way.

"Maybe we could have some breakfast," he said with a smirk from between his kisses on her neck, "with you as a main course. Now that I've got you on the table and all."

It was quite clear from the way his hands were wandering that he wasn't talking about filling his stomach.

[Omg, no! I had typed out a post yesterday, but when I went to post it, the board freaked out.. anyway, I left thinking that it would post it anyway.. but NO, it didn't!! Grr!! >_< ::kicks the board:: :P]


Bp smirked evilly. "While that does sound appetizing," She began to slip away from Dan and off of the table. "I'm really not that hungry."


Putting on a mock pout, then a smirk, the teen slipped away entirely from the older man and began walking back toward the couch. In all honesty, she hoped that Dan would rush after her, and carry her to his room, where he would then throw her on the bed and have his way with her. But she wasn't about to tell him that. After all, where would the fun be then?

Dan recognised the pout and such for fake - he liked this kind of games, anyway. And so he did indeed follow Bp and grab her, from behind, locking his arms around the girl's body.

"Oh, really? Maybe I'll have to raise your appetite then," he said with a smirk and bit just a little on her earlobe. Then he kissed her on the neck and while doing so, moved his hands agilely and swooped her onto his arms. A big and strong male, he had little trouble as he started to carry her off.

[[ahem, we've had our fair bit of fun with their, ahem, sexcapades... shall we let it at that for now, I'd like to skip a little so that Dan could bring up the whole visiting-the-parents-as-a-couple-and-going-to-Halloween-party-together thing.

[[Great! And ahh yes, that's right, I recalled it was something themed with Teddy. Not that it has anything to do with this thread but I was curious.

Dan often couldn't decide whether Bp looked better with or without her clothes - he really liked the way she dressed, but then, she also had a gorgeous body. One which he rather liked admiring, and so he had captured her under one leg and arm while resting on his side next to her, his head propped up on the other hand so he could let his eyes rest on her smooth curves. His other hand gently traced along her breasts and belly and his dark vine red hair was messy as a testament to the tumble they had just shared.

His equally dark vine red eyes moved to examine her face and pale eyes.

"You know... this means you'll have to come meet my parents," he said then, as the thought finally made its way through to his head. They had already talked about it once, but this time it was more important. If they were dating, he couldn't avoid showing her to the family.

Slender fingers trailed up and down Dan's arm as Bp stared off absent mindedly. She always found herself so relaxed after sex... then again, a lot of people felt that way.

As he spoke, she slowly turned her attention to him. It took a moment for her to fully process the words that had been spoken, but when she did, a soft smile graced her lips. "When?" The teen had always been a huge fan of family. Especially sense she was unable to see her own very often. Besides, judging how Dan and Sweetheart had turned out, their family must've been something special.
