Watching as Chip kissed his ring finger, Ace could barely suppress his emotions. Keeping the sly grin on his face, he was surprised when Chip suddenly rose to his feet, pulling him close. When Chip posed his question, Ace kept his cool composure. "You can't steal what goes willingly."

Chip's expression turned softer and he smiled, his other hand wrapping around his boyfriend's neck. He said not a word, simply pressed his lips on Ace's and kissed him passionately.
He rather felt like stripping the costume off and demanding that Ace stay with him, but obviously left that thought be. They'd have plenty of time to play "Pharaoh and Samurai" later in their own privacy.

Ace wanted to uphold his pharoah demeanor, but Chip's actions were too much for him. He slipped his arms around his boyfriend's neck and met his kiss, sinking into a blissful embrace.
Sparky had watched the scene, feeling tears at the corners of her eyes. She wasn't too romantic, truth be told, but something about these two made her shiver. "Okay, honestly, I'm not into mushy romantic stuff at all, but you two are going to make me cry. Stop it!!" She laughed as she watched the kiss, her arms folding in front of her in amusement.

Chip hardly even heard the protests of Sparky, he was so absorbed in the kiss.
Colorado was patting the corners of his eyes with a handkerchief for the little tears that had risen to his eyes. He knocked Sparky on the side with his elbow.
"Maybe we'll get to be the flower girls sooner than we think," he said with a bit of a smile.
Dan was not especially touched, though he had to admit that Chip and Ace looked adorable. He only hoped it was for real, and not a charade like it had been with Flash. The thought made his brow furrow again into a gloomy frown as he looked at the lovers.
Chip heard Colorado's note and smiled a bit after pulling back from the kiss, glancing at their viewers.
"Hey, this isn't some road show, you know," he said, feigning annoyance.
Colorado giggled.
"Oh don't play, Chip, we all know you like being at the centre of attention."

Sparky grinned at Colorado's comment, wondering indeed if her best friend would end up married sooner than anyone expected. She alone of their friends here knew of Ace's deeply romantic side, of his longing to get married and settle with one person. She had been surprised the first time they'd talked about it, but she knew his flirtatious nature was really a charade. She also couldn't see him marrying a girl, from the way Ace was with Chip, she thought he'd be better off marrying a man.
Ace glanced at Colorado and Sparky when Chip spoke, not having anything to add but enjoying the attention. He was glad Sparky was here to witness it, plainly able to read her excitement over their relationship on her face.

Chip fought a smile for a moment, then ended up grinning after all. He shrugged and kissed Ace on the lips once more. He was begining to like the word "boyfriend" more and more every passing day.
"Well, as sad as it is..." he glanced at the clock on the wall, "I suppose I should relinquish my dear Pharaoh here for his last make-up. Weren't you going to do something like that, Sparky?"
Collie was already imagining in his mind exactly what kind of an adornment he'd buy for Ace for his "something new" - or possibly "something borrowed" or "something blue", depending on which part Ace would let him fill up.

Sparky nodded, "yes I have to do some pretty make up, then get his jewellery on. He'll be even more beautiful when I'm done with him!" She walked over to the couch and picked up her bag, motioning for him to come and sit at the table.
Ace leaned up to kiss Chip on the lips before moving over to sit at the table in one of the chairs, Sparky standing before him. He watched as she pulled out her make up case, knowing she intended to give him black eyeliner and smoky eye shadow, excited to see how he was going to turn out. After all, the last time he'd had make up applied was when his cousin Mia turned him into a girl for a school project.
Sparky took out her black eyeliner pencil, not hesitating in getting to work. While her biggest strength lay in clothing, she was quite good at doing make up for others as well. She outlined her friend's already gorgeous eyes quite thickly, putting extra emphasis on them. She smudged the liner into a mix of black and green eyeliner, wanting to emphasize his natural eye colour. His eyes were the only thing she was planning to do, though.
Once they were done she took out the remainder of his accessories, which included gleaming gold arm bands and wrist bands, a gold necklace to match them, a few rings, lace up sandals that looked very authentic, and finally, the piece she was just as proud of as the actual dress, the headpiece. It framed his face amazingly well and added such drama to the costume. She stepped back to admire him, amazed as she looked at the costume. She definitely needed professional photos taken for her portfolio.

Chip whistled approvingly when Sparky was done. "Very nice," he complimented, then smirked. "Eatable." Colorado poked his friend on the side with his elbow. "Easy, stud," he noted. "Don't you dare try smudging Sparky's fine work with your greedy hands." [[I'll leave it up to you to decide when they'll head for the door and stuff - Dan will catch Ace before they go, preferrably at the door when all the goodbyes have been exchanged, I'll have Chip get a phonecall or something so he won't be there etc. ]]

Ace grinned as he was admired, standing up from the chair and slinking off to Chip's bedroom with nothing but sly glances at he and Colorado, wanting to see the full picture. As he stood before the full length mirror, he felt his breath stop in his throat, surprised at his reflection. While he knew full well how beautiful a boy he was, sometimes Ace forgot precisely how beautiful. The makeup around his eyes really drew the attention to them, and he unwillingly remembered the uncomfortable feeling he'd always felt whenever anyone remarked on them. But he pushed those thoughts aside, not wanting them to mar the day for him. There was no better way to learn to get over the uneasiness then to force himself to deal with it, and with his eyes done up the way they were today, he wouldn't have a choice. Sparky packed up her things again into her bag, grinning as she heard the comments the guys had made. She was pleased and as she saw Ace retreating to the bedroom to check out his appearance, she hoped he'd be as pleased with it as everyone else was. While she didn't know the reasoning, or even the certainty, Sparky had been witness to a few occasions of Ace appearing uncomfortable with comments about his lovely green eyes. Those moments were fleeting and most people missed them, but she had noticed the painfilled expression that would occasionally flit across his face when his eyes were brought into question. She'd never asked him about it, knowing that he wouldn't tell her anything. She had been a little surprised when he hadn't protested at all when she's mentioned wanting to give him makeup, especially when she'd told him it would focus mainly on his eyes. He'd just appeared as confident as ever, mentioning that she was free to do as she pleased to complete his transformation. Once finished with her things, Sparky laid the bag by the door, her eyes on her watch. "We should really go soon, we have to meet the rest of our groups before we get to school." She walked back over to the guys, stopping before Colorado and giving him a hug. "It's been lovely meeting you, and I'm sure I'll see much more of you while you're here." (Okay, well I was thinking Chip would go see Ace for a moment then maybe get a phone call while he's in his bedroom? Then Ace can take his bag out to the door, and with Collie occupied with Sparky, Dan can pounce on him!

[[sounds good! ]] Chip followed Ace to the bedroom only a few moments after the blond had left, patting Sparky on the shoulder on his way out by ways of friendly compliment. When he got into the bedroom, he paused a few steps behind Ace and looked over the blond's shoulder to the mirror, seeing both their reflection. He slipped his hands on Ace's waist and along his body to the belly until he could pull the blond against himself for an embrace. Chip set his chin down on his boyfriend's shoulder and smirked. "If you don't win the costume contest I'll be surprised," he said. He was glad of the short moment alone before Ace needed to go. Outside, Colorado smiled widely and hugged Sparky excitedly. "Oh, we'll be quite best friends," he declared. "I absolutely insist you design something fabulous for me when you have a moment. I'm always in need of new outstanding costumes and I absolutely must have a Sparky Original." He wrinkled his nose a little right after letting that out of his mouth. "That won't be your designer name, though, will it? We'll have to work with it a little. You need something a little more glamorous."

Ace heard Chip enter the room but he remained standing where he was, his eyes unwavering from his own reflection even when Chip stood behind him. It wasn't until the older male touched him that he finally looked away from his reflection and instead settled on Chip's. He smiled at the comment and turned his head to kiss his cheek, closing his eyes and leaning his head against Chip's.
"I don't need a contest to tell me that my costume is going to be ten times superior to everyone else's." Ace grinned slightly, his hands sliding over Chip's. "I'm just shocked at how much effort she put into it. I'm very lucky to have her." He opened his eyes again, looking once more at their reflection. Even though he appeared as happy as he could be, he still felt the slightest pang of sadness toward his feelings for Sparky. Deciding to drown the feelings out before they grew, Ace turned and faced Chip, his hands now resting no his boyfriend's arms. "The same way I'm very lucky to have you."
Sparky grinned when Colorado commented on her name, waving a hand in his face. "Oh honestly now, do I look like someone glamorous? I need something catchy and intriguing, fun and youthful! I have been thinking about what I'd like to call my clothing line, though. That name needs to be really catchy. I was thinking of naming it Cheeky Monkey, after my parakeet. He inspires some of my designs, after all."

Chip smiled and kissed Ace on the lips briefly as he cuddled his boyfriend against his chest, not detecting any of Ace's feelings caused by his thoughts on Sparky.
"She's really cool, I'm happy you have her, too." He chuckled. "Though I'm quite afraid Collie will do his best to steal her away." He winked, indicating he was only joking. He then hugged Ace suddenly, squeezing him tightly into his arms. "And if either of us is lucky, it's me, Sunlight."
He seemed to be about to say something else, when a rhythmical dancing tune sounded out and he jumped a bit as he recognised the ringing tone of his cell phone.
"Ah, always such perfect timing, eh?" he said sarcastically as he glanced over to the bedside table where he'd left the cell. "I guess I'd best at least check who it is."
He let go of Ace reluctantly and walked to the cell. Seeing the name flashing on the screen he rather felt like switching it off but, knowing better, sighed and smiled a bit over to Ace.
"It's my old man."
He knew Ace would know by now that Mario never just stopped calling - the phone would ring until it was answered or switched off, and Chip had a habit of telling his boyfriend that he had to take the call whenever it was his father.
Collie laughed at the mention of Cheeky Monkey.
"Well, that certainly ought to get people's attention," he said with a chuckle. "But you know, we need to sit down together and see if we can come up with something!" He nodded toward the bedroom door. "Also, Chip there absolutely has to help you with making a portfolio, you wouldn't believe what a whiz he's with a camera. Almost as good as I'm with my paints and brushes." He winked and laughed.
[[errr I don't remember if anyone had yet mentioned Chip's photograph thing to Sparky but I hope you don't mind Collie doing so... if you do, I can always edit. ^-^]]

Ace smiled when Chip mentioned Colorado trying to steal Sparky, not doubting that for a moment. Both had rather infectious personalities and he knew from their first meeting that they would probably be spending a good deal of time together while Collie was here. When Chip hugged him tightly and made his comment, Ace smiled happily and was about to reply when the phone went off. He frowned when Chip walked to the phone, displeased with the interruption. When Chip mentioned it was his father, he nodded. "Yeah, you should answer then. I'll take my stuff out to the door." He quickly stood up next to Chip and pressed a kiss to his lips before grabbing his bag and leaving the room, heading out toward the door to the apartment to lay his stuff down.
Sparky nodded when Collie mentioned Chip helping with her portfolio, Ace had mentioned it many times. "Oh yes, we have discussed the portfolio shots! I need him to do Ace for me, in this costume." As soon as the words were out of her mouth Sparky grinned. "Okay that came out wrong. I mean as hot as it would be to watch those two go at it, especially with Ace done up the way he is, I don't think shots of that would sit well in my portfolio." Sparky, like Collie, had no idea that Ace and Chip weren't yet having sex.

Chip smiled to Ace and waved when he headed out the door, then answered the call and pressed the phone on his ear. He was so not on the mood for this.
[[won't play through the discussion as I'm not sure yet what it was about. XD]]
Collie giggled and nodded.
"Oh, I think you'd be directed forward to some quite different magazines from fashion with those kind of photos." He winked. "It would be super hot though, and you know I got them to agree on doing some posing for me for a vampire painting. It's going to be so awesome!" He grinned. "You can sit in to watch sometime if you like. Oh! Maybe you could do their makeup, you do such awesome job with it."
Dan noticed Ace going for the door of the apartment alone. One glance to the bedroom revealed that Chip was talking in the phone. Perfect. Dan sneaked past Collie and Sparky as unnoticeably as possible, wanting them to continue their chat a while longer so he could have a talk with Ace.
He stopped in front of Ace like a very large shadow.
"I wanted to have a word with you," he said, and there was again the apparently near-permanent frown on his brow.

Sparky squealed just a little when Collie offered her the opportunity to do the boy's makeup for their vampire portrait. "I would love to, thanks!! Makeup is a second passion of mine, really. I could do vampire for them, wouldn't be too hard. God that's going to make such a hot portrait, I can't wait to see it." Sparky was pleased that she and Colorado were getting along so well, she felt quite the attachment to the artist already. "So what are you wearing to the party tonight? Ace mentioned you guys were coming."
When Ace heard Dan come up behind him and mention that he wanted to have a chat, Ace froze momentarily. This couldn't be good. It was odd, the past night he'd felt as though the tension between he and Dan had melted somewhat, leaving him feeling a bit more comfortable around the older man. But now that he looked up at Dan and saw the look on his face, Ace couldn't help but feel that familiar sense of worry come creeping up. Had Dan been being nice to him only because Chip had been around? Was he going to revert back to his cold shoulder now? Had BP said something to Dan about the two of them? Was he angry about that? Ace looked at Dan and simply nodded, too nervous to bother with words.
