wispykitty.bravehost.comHere is the newest version of the map. You'll notice that each small area has a letter, and each house is numbered. The numbers are not the actual house numbers, they're just being used to make things easier. So if you want your character in a specific house, then reply here and tell me exactly which one. Right now everyone has a house, but if you want the location changed, let me know. (You just can't live in A1 as that was Ace's old house which they moved out of last year:) Apt stands for apartment building, RH stands for row house (basically a bunch of houses connected to one another). I finally got around to putting up all the pictures of random houses I took a few weeks ago. I put them up on a page with the maps as well, so there can be one easy reference to where people live and what their houses look like. I didn't get pictures for everyone's house, but I just took houses I thought would match. I tried to get as close to the descriptions you guys gave as possible. If you don't like a house that's up for your character and want to try getting someone different, that's not a problem, just let me know. I just tried to match up what I took. There are some extra houses too that didn't seem to fit anyone's description, so if you'd like to claim one, please do! I'll be deleting the other threads and moving any pertinent info to this one, just to keep you all aware. I'll be trying to get some more pictures as time goes by, but this is all I have for now. If you feel like contributing, I'd love you! :D Once I get a new web host, since my last one really is gone (I've been in denial for weeks!) I'll move the page off of Bravenet. I didn't bother putting it on Angelfire since two or three views would usually shut the page down, hopefully BN won't be so stupid. >.< Well, hope you guys enjoy and appreciate my hard work, damn it! ;)

Here is a basic guide to Meadowbrook, so everyone knows what this place is like. I kind of modelled it after my own home, Toronto (though it's nowhere near the size of TO;) so hopefully you guys will find this useful. Basically, it's a fairly large city, I would say the population of the entire area is probably somewhere around 500,000, give or take a few grand. There's a central "downtown" area, where most of the exciting stuff is. Downtown is classififed into different districts: - The Entertainment District: where the majority of clubs, bars, theaters (live, not movie) etc are. Known streets: Adelaide Street, Dundas Street - The Fashion District: where the upscale fashion boutiques and speciality shops are, there are also a few fashion design companies here, a few modelling companies, and the Esthetics School (where they teach hair, make-up, etc) Known streets: Spadina Avenue, Bloor Street - The Art & Design District: where all the museums, art galleries, art stores, furniture stores etc are Known streets: Queen Street, King Street - The Waterfront District: there's a lake on one edge of the place, so they have a really nice waterfront area, with a lot of restaurants and docks Known streets: Front Street, Fleet Street - The Financial District: where most of the major business head offices are, this place is mostly business buildings, very few residences Known streets: Yonge Street, St Clair Street So that's downtown. The A&D district is typically where the fancier/more interesting apartment buildings are-- it's the "trendy" place to live. The majority of the apartment buildings are new and they all have spas and fancy stores on the lower level, with heated underground parking. The entertainment district has older buildings with more "character" and not as many ammenities. The fashion district is about in the middle, but has less apartments than either of the other two. The Waterfront area has a mix of super expensive condo & townhomes, but also some cheaper places for those who still want to be near the water. Regardless of where you live downtown, it'll cost you. A bachelor apartment (that's one main room) starts at around $120,000 to buy, or $900/month to rent. Nothing in the A&D district goes for under $200,000 or $1200/month. There's a university downtown called Ryerson, which is sort of in between the A&D and entertainment districts, it's at the intersection of Dundas and King. Lying all around the downtown area are the suburbs! The area where the majority of you should be living is to the right/east of downtown. The area where the school is is in a good location, there's not much violence and there's quite a bit nearby. There's a mall that's about a 10 minute walk down the road and there's also an elementary school and junior high nearby (leadership/family studies students will be going to the elementary school for those classes when required) and there's another high school nearby in the same main neighbourhood. There's a big park nearby as well (ten minute walk) that has a duck pond. It's a popular area for students when they have a free period. We'll say it's near the caves from the original Tales series. The neighbourhood around this area is filled with different accomodations. There are a lot of houses (some with big yards, some with barely any yard and a little cramped), quite a few apartment complexes (some that are old and not so nice, some that are old and nice, some that are new and tiny, some that are new and bigger but really expensive) and there's a neighbourhood for the rich folk, with bigger houses and bigger yards. The majority of the rich people live in a neighbourhood called The Bridalpath, where a lot of the houses/mansions are enclosed by gates. That area is about a 10 minute drive from the school, 20-30 minute walk. The school would be anywhere from just down the street to a 30 minute walk at most for anyone attending, unless they live downtown. The other high school in the area is a private school, called East Wing Academy. There is a very strong rivalry between the schools. The elementary school is called Astral Drive Elementary, and the junior high is Brookfield Junior High, it's very close to the high school.

Brief Descriptions of where the characters live (please leave a description of where your characters live if they're not on this list, I deleted the pm with all of yours BP, I suck;)
Ace: until last year they lived in a 2 story house right next to the park (A1), but in the early spring they moved into a brand new 2 bedroom + den penthouse condo downtown on Queen Street in the A&D district. The building is one of the newest to go up and one of the more expensive ones. Their condo cost $650,000. His mother works a seven minute walk down the road and her boss also lives in the building, so it was a convenience move for her. It's about a 15-20 minute drive for Ace, which he doesn't mind. Their building has a spa (called Lush, where he goes for a weekly massage/facial/manicure/pedicure-- he's so metrosexual:), a specialty grocery store called Serano (specializing in Mediterranean food), a book store (called Peddler's) and a lighting store (called LitWorks). Their building is fairly close to the Fashion District.
Blaze: Lives with his parents in an apartment downtown near The Waterfront District. Two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. No yard. Has a nice size patio, where his mom keeps a couple of potted plants.
Bon Bon: Lives with her parents and siblings in a ranch style house. Only has five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is seriously over crowded. The yard is normal size. Neighbours are fairly close, not much for side yards, has a small front yard, but a decent backyard. Has a metal chain link fence around the backyard. There's a plastic kiddie pool in the backyard along with a badminton net and horseshoes, not to mention a maple tree that has somehow survived. There were two flower beds at one point. The flowers have long since either died or been pulled up. Where the flower beds once were frisbees and various balls lay scattered, along with the occasionally bat and bike helmets. One car attached garage.
Bones & Pekoe: they live in a 3 bedroom row housing unit, one of the cheapest ones in the area. Their neighbours suck, it’s not a very safe area at night. None of the houses there are that nice, everyone there is more low class. Their parents pay about $700/month rent.
Chase & Holland: they live in a two storey house near the park (the same street where Ace lived, they were two houses down). There are four large bedrooms in the house (one for the parents, one for Chase, one for Holland and Limm and one for Forrest) and three full bathrooms. It's a nice place with a big backyard and double garage, they have a pool and hot tub in the backyard with a nice deck. Their house cost about $300,000.
Chip & Scarlet: currently lives with his old man and Scarlet in a fairly large and comfy two-storey house near the Rosacci family. They, too, have a large yard but no pool and only very small garden.
Chloe: Lives in a very nice two-story house (with her parents) only five minutes away from The Bridalpath. Four very large bedrooms, three bathrooms. Extremely well manicured yard. Hot tub just off of the back patio. Has a privacy fence around the backyard. Two car attached garage.
Dandy: He just moved into a nice attic apartment on Queen Street on the A&D district, a short walking distance from Ace's and his mom's place. It's a little big for him though, with two bedrooms, living room-joined kitchen, plus bathroom (with an actual tub) of course. There's still a room kept for him in his parents house, though.
GingerSnap: Lives in a mansion on Bridalpath with her parents. People joke about needing a map to find their way around her parents' mansion. Has ten bedrooms and twelve bathrooms. Servants' quarters, enormous kitchen, music room, game room, library, den, two living rooms, formal dining room, theatre, gym and heaven only knows what else. Has an Olympic size pool and hot tub in the backyard. A very nice black, gothic style metal fence surrounds the entire estate. Has a very large garden; complete with its own cobblestone path, hedge maze. There is a gazebo in the center of the garden. Has a four car garage.
Harlequin: Lives with her parents in a spacious older Victorian style house. Only a couple of houses down the street from where Logan and his family live. Has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, music room, game room, formal dinning room, eat in kitchen, living room, library and a tower. Large, lush yard. Gothic, black metal fence around the entire property, has a sort of Victorian feel to it. A few potted and hanging plants are on the front porch. Has some lovely lilac bushes flanking the sidewalk up to the house. Stately oak trees in the backyard, a large crab apple in the front yard. Hot tub in the backyard. Two car detached garage.
Hoops/Skyler: Lives a block away from The Bridalpath in a nice two story house with his parents and twin. Has five large bedrooms and four bathrooms. Well groomed lawn. Spacious yard, small pool in the backyard, privacy fence around the backyard. Two car attached garage, with basketball hoop off to the side of the driveway.
Keys: Lives with his mom in a one-story house, that is in what most refer to as a questionable neighbourhood. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, finished basement. The lawn is almost always brown. There is a nice old pine tree in the backyard. A couple of window boxes with flowers in them. The house is always in need of repairs and looks it from the outside. No garage. Has a carport.
Logan: Lives with his parents and younger sister in an older Victorian style house. It's in an older neighbourhood. At one point the neighbourhood he lives in could have very well been the 'rich' part of town, of course that was probably over a hundred years ago. Still a very nice looking two story Victorian house. Has a decent size yard, not huge but more than enough room to play between their house and their neighbours, when they choose not to play in the backyard. Stately oak trees in the back and front yards. No fence. No pool. But there is a volleyball net set up in the backyard. There are a few potted plants outside. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, has a den, music room, library and game room (plus the normal living room, formal dinning room and eat in kitchen). Two car detached garage.
Melody: Average one story house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lives with her mom and younger brothers. Fenced backyard. Two nice trees in the backyard. Couple of bushes in the front yard. A flower bed with a lot of snapdragons and marigolds in it. One car-attached garage, has a basketball hoop above the door.
Princess: Two storey, 3 large bedroom house closer to the school (3 minute walk) with a nice private backyard. An architect friend of her uncle’s designed their house. The house cost $250,000.
Slugger: One storey (with furnished basement) house, fairly nice. They have a good sized yard and nice neighbours. The house cost $170,000.
Sparky: Her family lives in a two storey house down the road from Chase, but Sparky moved out. She lives downtown in the entertainment district (on Peter Street, which branches off of Adelaide) with her roommate. Their place is a small two bedroom apartment that they rent for $1000/month. It's not exactly the most peaceful place to live, but it's set-up really nicely inside and their neighbours are pretty cool. It's mostly university students in the building. They live in the same building as Sunny's boyfriend Rex.
Starlight: lives in a two-bedroom apartment with her mother near the mall.
Sunny: Three large bedroom, 2 full bathroom house near Chase, very nice and very private. They have a pool in the backyard with a diving board, there’s also a hot tub off to the side. There’s a very nice deck out back with top-of-the-line grill. They're actually quite close to the Bridalpath, about a five minute walk. The house cost $280,000.
Sweetheart: She lives with her parents in the suburbs, in a nice large old house, which is not quite in the rich people district but fairly close to it and looks better than average, with a large yard. There's a small pool on the yard and a little garden surrounding the two-storey house.
Tuneful: One storey, 3 bedroom (with furnished basement) house, near Slugger. It's nice but the outside needs a little work. The house cost $130,000.

Damn you, woman! lol I don't even remember what I said. >_< Ok, I'll try to bullshit my way through this. >:} Teddy/Bp: They live in a shabby apartment. It isn't small, but it hasn't been well kept. The apartment is equiped with all of today's modern techonology (cable, air, etc) but they don't use any of it in order to cut down on expenses. Lancer: This one is fun... He lives in an old mansion that dates back to the 17th century. It has been completely restored and has all of the latest appliances and technology. The mansion contains 44 rooms, 21 bedrooms, and 20 full baths. It also has the following (but not limited to): Secret passageways, Wine cellar, Basement, Attic, Complete gym, Tennis/basketball courts, baseball diamond, In-ground pool, Library, Ballroom, Courtyard, and much more. It is absolutely beautiful, but terrifying once the sun goes down. Lancer is used to it, though. Buddy: Born and raised in his house at B3. [Tis perfect. Don't change a thing.] It has a finished basement, built in pool, yadda, yadda. It's a very nice house, and extremely cozy. Yeehaw. Ryan: She lives in an old, two story house. It's not fancy, or breath taking, but it's home. It is well kept, though. (Four bedrooms, 3 full baths, finished basement, attic, yadda) Shawn/Jeremy/Duncan: Here, this'll say it all: Property Features Single Family Property Area: NEW ORLEANS EAST BANK Subdivision: BOULIGNY Age: 95 year(s) old 10 total bedroom(s) 6.5 total bath(s) 5 total full bath(s) 3 total half bath(s) Approximately 9034 sq. ft. Three story Heating features: Natural gas fuel, Central Central air conditioning Interior features: Ceiling fan(s), Security features Exterior features: Oversized lot, Patio, Public sewer service, Public water supply Exterior construction: Brick Approximate lot is 75 X 150Christian: He lives in the theater, along with the owner and several other crewmen.

Help, where do I start? I see there is not many house descriptions here, then how come everyone is listed? ...Um, well. I'd like j4 to be Wes' place. And the picture under the "J" suits well. The houses in a row. Clover should live somewhere fancier, say, h4?

Cres is right, before I made this post we had about three different posts all dealing with this stuff, so due to my love of organization, I put everything into one big post. :) The locations are great for your characters, but I would like it if you could write up just a small description of what the house is like, as in how many rooms, do they have a nice yard, crappy neighbours, etc. Basically just see what everyone else has written up then do your own little write-ups. I'd also like that so I can try to find a house to use for Clover. :)

Rowan: His house would be in D7 - the house in the picture up for grabs, would be nice for his family. Small but comfortable one-storey house with a yard. So Princess will be getting neighbours on Monday afternoon. I'll be posting that up today.

Let's see... Bee: E19, the house up for grabs would be great for her! Toffee&Coffee: a fairly large house, but not big enough to be a mansion. Two stories and own rooms for both the boys. Could be near the rich area, but not quite there. Rook: ummm, a rather standard house, really. Nothing too fancy, but still two stories. His room is upstairs.
