History: Her parents moved to Canada from Sweden three years before she was born and stayed in Toronto until Sunny was twelve, when they moved here to Meadowbrook. She had a very stable and happy childhood and has been in gymnastics and swimming since she was five.
Affiliation (what permanent character do they have a relationship with): Ace's cousin (her mother, Nilla, is Ace's mother's older sister), she's very much like a little sister to him, they're very close. She is the best friend of Bones' little sister Pekoe (so she is quite close with Bones) and is also very close with Holland, Chloe and Sparky.

Notes: she's on the cheerleading squad, the volleyball team, the soccer team (she rather takes after Ace in soccer) and she's a member of the swim team.

Personality/temperament (how they act: quiet, daring, etc.): A little on the quiet side but not because he's shy, he does it so he can seem like more of a "tortured artist".
Clothes: Total grunge-boy, ripped jeans, band t-shirts and zip-up hoodies with Converse sneakers. He likes his hair clean but looking messy.
Pets (if they have any): None.
Birthplace: Meadowbrook.
History: Slugger was born here but his parents moved away when he was five, only to move back when he was eleven. He has good parents, an older sister (who gets on his nerves quite often) and more friends than he likes to admit to having (because, being the tortured artist no one is supposed to understand him;).
Affiliation (what permanent character do they have a relationship with): Sunny and Pekoe's best friend, so he's close to Ace, Bones, Holland, Chloe, Chase, Tuneful and Princess.

Notes: Slugger idolizes Kurt Cobain and has decided that he's going to be a rock star ever since the first time he heard Nirvana's "All Apologies", his favourite song.

Well I'm bored and felt like documenting what all of my characters parents do for a living, so here I go. Figured this was a good place for it...


Ace's mom Patria: Creative Director and new company partner for the Holt, Crawford, and Dahl-- top advertising company in the city, which happens to be the second biggest advertising company in the entire country (they do a lot of work nationally, but they also deal with international clients). The job entails a lot of responsibility and superior people skills and artistic inclination. Her salary is currently set at $400,000/year, but she makes close to $50,000 in various bonuses each year (for being the top advertiser, etc, and because her boss likes giving her money;) and travels a lot. She likes bringing Ace along with her on some of her trips if she can manage and he has nothing going on at school.


Jasmine: her father is holds the position of Head of Admissions at Ryerson university, which makes him about $200,000/year. Her mother doesn't work but invests a lot of the money her husband makes, so they have a lot more money in the bank.


Sunny: her father works as a software engineering director for BluePrint Media who produce a lot of home renovating programs. He makes about $150,000/year. Her mom works as the creative director for one of the local radio stations, JackFM, that plays a mix of 80s/90s music. She makes about $80,000/year.


Moki: both her parents own and operate the resort on the island which is quite popular. They make a yearly profit on the resort of about $200,000 (after paying the employees, etc).


Princess: her uncle works as the top division IT executive for a pharmaceutical company and makes $150,000/year. Since his wife died ten years ago before they had kids, he's had no one to spend the money on except himself, which he didn't even do a lot of. So he has a lot of money saved up which he plans to give Princess when she graduates and goes to university.


Chase/Holland: their father works at the hospital as the head x-ray technician. He makes about $80,000/year. Their mother also works at the hospital as a cat scan technician. She makes about $60,000/year.


Clover: her father is a popular sculptor, making roughly around $100,000/year on various pieces of art. He also teaches a sculpting class at the local art school on a part-time basis. Her mom doesn't work, but spends a lot of time volunteering and running the local quilt group.


Sparky: her father is the pastor at the most popular Catholic church in the area, he makes about $100,000/year.


Slugger: his father works as a camera/photographic equipment repairer for the local television station, he makes about $50,000/year. His mother works as a telecommunications analyst for SkyTron, a security company and makes about $50,000/year.


Patch: her father works as a carpenter, making about $70,000/year. Her mother works for a non-profit community service centre as a receptionist, she makes about $30,000/year.


Tuneful: her father works as an airframe and engine mechanic at the airport, he makes about $50,000/year.


Bones: his father works as a forklift driver at a warehouse and his mother used to work in retail before getting fired. His father barely makes enough to pay the bills (and their alcoholic habits) so it's really up to Bones to make any money to buy things for he and Pekoe.


Lightning: his father works in the same warehouse as Bones' father, but on a different shift so they don't really know one another. He also has some alcoholic tendencies, but he does pay the bills first and is trying to save money up to give to Lightning, even though he doesn't think his son will take it.

history: Born into a very wealthy family, Rex is the youngest boy of the Giovanni family. His father has always spoiled him and let him get away with everything, to the dismay of his older siblings. His childhood was a happy one even though the Giovanni family are involved in the Mafia in the drug running business. Julian's father Carlos owns a shipping company and uses the boats to smuggle drugs and sometimes weapons where they need to go. Julian was the eldest son of Carlos, so he will be inheriting the company.
Rex was sheltered from the reality of his family for the majority of his childhood. Julian couldn't bear the thought of putting his favourite boy in danger, so he kept him out, to the dismay of his brothers and even his wife. Milania believes that family should stick together and risk danger together.
When Rex was 12 his father was pressured into using him in a drug run as a decoy. Rex had no idea what was happening, until it all went bad and he was kidnapped by his father's customer. He wasn't hurt and was given back within a day, but it was enough to scare Julian into never putting him in danger again. Rex was angry with his father for putting him in danger and Julian fell for it completely.
Within three months Baci had decided that she also did not want a part of this life, so she decided to move and told her father that she was taking Rex with her. Being the eldest, Baci knows everything that has happened over the years and could really hurt her father if she wanted to. Being the eldest her father also has a bit of a soft spot for her. If any of her siblings had ever threatened him with going to the secret service to report him, they would be punished for it, even Nomando. So after threatening him with exposure and also with having Rex taken away from him for good, he allowed her to leave and take Rex in order to keep him safe. Even though they had Julian's blessing when they left, Milania made sure Baci knew that she would never be welcomed back, also telling Rex that she thought he was a disappointment.
Baci knew she was very lucky that her father was letting her go with Rex so she didn't ask for much, just enough to get settled somewhere and to keep Rex comfortable. Her father gave her a million, mostly because he wanted Rex to have everything. So the two left immediately, moving overseas. As soon as they got settled, Baci got herself a nice job and tried to raise Rex as well as she could manage, keeping him out of trouble. When he was fifteen she got married and Rex got along well with her husband. When he was seventeen she had her first child. When her husband was away their brother Guy came to visit, eventually threatening the life of Baci's baby unless Rex came back to Italy. Rex ended up attacking Guy and stabbing him. Guy realized quickly that though Rex hadn't been involved in his lifestyle, he knew how to protect himself, so he left and informed his father that Rex did not want to come home. After graduating high school almost two years ago Rex moved out on his own and Baci moved with her new family.

Now Rex is starting his second year of university, working towards a degree in business while dj'ing on the side. Lately though, he and his friend Blade have been contemplating opening a martial arts school together, since they have both studied tae-kwon-do for the past eight years since Rex has been here, both of them having now attained teaching status.
While in high school he played on the soccer team, where he met Ace and developed a friendship with him. Ace was responsible for hooking Rex up with his younger cousin Sunny, a match that turned a few heads at first due to the age difference, but which has never encountered any real problems. He's very happy now, living a life outside of his family business. His father still pines for him, begging him to come home and visit. Rex will never go back though. Even though he knows his father would never do anything to him, he can't say the same for his brothers. He plans to stay here until Sunny graduates high school, after which they've talked about moving to Europe, possibly to France or Britain. He just wants to slip away and try to forget his family and start anew with Sunny.

Sunny doesn't know about his past though, blissfully unaware. Rex told her that he simply had a bad falling out with his parents and refuses to see them ever again. Though she's saddened by it she has agreed to leave it alone and not ask. After all, her parents adore Rex and he adores them, so he won't be without family in the future.

Name: Twinks Kennedy
Nicknames (if any): Twink, Twinkle, Twinkie
Age: 17
Type: Earth

Hair color: Golden yellow with white streaks
Eye color: Pale yellow
Symbol: A starburst
Personality/temperament (how they act: quiet, daring, etc.): Outgoing, funny, friendly, a little on the hyper side. She loves to have fun and party, and loves to be the centre of attention. Even to people she doesn't like, she's still very friendly (just so she won't be the one looking bad to other people).
Clothes: Whatever is trendy at the moment, as long as she looks cute and hot. She loves low rise jeans and tank tops that show off her cute body, though, and almost always wears shoes with heels.
Pets (if they have any): A golden retriever named Johnson.
Birthplace: Somewhere further south (something like Florida) where she spent a lot of time at the beach partying.
History: Twinks moved here when she was 14, automatically gravitating toward the popular crowd due to her partying nature and bubbly personality. She joined the cheerleading team (we'll say she's more on Bambi's side of things). At the very beginning she and Melody got along pretty well and she was also friends with the other girls in Mel's band (obviously not Tuneful, since she'd left by then) but by the time high school rolled around and Mel went off with the guys, Twinks had convinced the band that they would be better off replacing Melody with herself.

So the band had a decision and kicked Melody out, letting Twinks take over as the lead singer. She also convinced them to go a different route. Instead of being a real "band" and playing their own instruments, all the girls decided they wanted to sing together, like a real girl group. They started choreographing dance moves and writing cute songs that Twinks' older brother would help them create music for. Twinks had completely cut Melody off from her band and wanted nothing more to do with her. She always acted nice to her face, but Twinks was one of the biggest gossipers behind her back.
