name: Domino Ratchet nickname(s): Dom, Dommie, Domerino birthday: June 3rd age: 16 parents: Jack (dad) and April (mom) siblings: Gwen (older sister, married, lives in Italy, her husband has a job there currently), Cap (older brother, away at college) body color: white hair color: black with lime green streaks eye color: silver symbol: black outline of the back of a car with a cloud of silver dust around the back tires personality/temperament: Laid back, easy to get along with. Good listener. Likes the thrill of a car speeding down the road as you try to outrun everyone around you. Caring, protective of friends. clothes: jeans, t-shirts (screen, old band, solid colored), cream colored jean jacket, canvas tennis shoes jewelry: none sexual orientation: straight pastimes: roller skating, playing bass guitar, watching movies, hanging out with friends, partying, working on his car, drag racing, clubbing, dancing lives: parents still in an average size house in a decent part of town pets: Cammie (female, old Collie mix), Strummer (male, Rottweiler)
history: Dom had a fairly normal childhood. Played in the Garage when he was little. Did his homework there after school when he was too young to be home by himself. Started working at the Garage when he was fourteen. Oil changes, fixing broken lights, checking fluids, replacing worn or damaged hoses in the beginning. Has moved on to fixing brakes, replacing windshields and taking care of dings and scrapes on the cars.
When his older brother hit high school everything between the two of them changed. No more baseball games on weekends, no fishing, no roller skating around the neighborhood. Cap changed and in Dom’s opinion drastically. Dom had no idea how much until his parents were gone for a weekend. Having been out skating at the park Dom got back to find a wild party going on at home. Empty beer cans littered the living room and older high school students and some college kids were doing much more than making out everywhere the fourteen-year-old turned. Seeking refuge in his room Dom found that too was anything but a safe place to be. Cap had Melody pinned. If he had heard the door open Cap made it no mind, just as he was paying no attention to Melody’s cries of pain. A sick feeling washed over Dom and he quickly left his room and the house. He never breathed a word when their parents arrived home. Dom lost all respect for his brother that weekend.
birthplace: Local hospital.
interesting facts: Family owns the Oil Slick Garage. Dom’s older brother Cap was one of the two guys that turned Melody into the school slut. Dom saved his money and bought a beat up second hand car that he’s still fixing up. Has been playing bass guitar for nine years. Still a virgin.
[I'm not sure if he's a temp or not yet. So for now I'm claiming he's a temp.]

name: Bunny Anderson nickname(s): ‘Pearl’ birthday: February 4th age: 19 parents: Lila (grandma) siblings: none (at least that she knows of) body color: cream hair color: white eye color: bright blue symbol: honey colored bunny lying down personality/temperament: Energetic and wild mostly while performing. Caring, sweet, bit guarded. Protective of those she cares most about. Willing to do anything for a loved one. clothes: various costumes, jeans, t-shirts, tennis shoes, heels, halter tops, shorts jewelry: gold necklace with a running rabbit hanging from it, gold ring with a pearl set in the center with diamonds surrounding it on her middle right finger, various earrings and anklets sexual orientation: straight pastimes: dancing, cooking, 'entertaining', jogging, swimming, shooting hoops, watching movies, hanging out at home with her grandma lives: uptown apartment, her grandma lives with her pets: Honey (female, cream colored cat)
history: Bunny’s mother decided before the child was two that raising a kid just wasn’t for her and promptly dumped her off at her parents’ house. Her grandparents were given full custody of the toddler. . Bunny has no idea who her father is, but than neither does anyone else.
Bunny grew up with loving grandparents who did their best to substitute for her mother. Her grandparents though had little money as it was and with the added expense of a child they hadn’t previously planned on rearing her grandpa went back to work. Bunny grew up in what was best classified as anything but a nice part of town. If anyone bothered to call the cops they never showed. Drugs were bought and sold in plain sight. Pimps set up headquarters knowing that they would be left alone. Always Lila kept a close watch on her granddaughter for fear of what could happen. Had they been able to leave they would have, but money was always tight. No matter how hard they scrimped and saved it just never added up to enough to get them out of there.
Wearing second hand clothes from thrift stores, Bunny was never in style and often made fun of. She had heard it all, been called everything. She was trash, or so it was claimed. Yet she got A’s in almost every class, excelled in volleyball and was quickly turning heads as one of the most agile cheerleaders at the school. Few overlooked where she came from, or what they considered her to be.
It didn’t take long for the captain of the varsity basketball team to notice her as well. Dash Marshall was athletic, handsome and was the only child of one of the wealthier families in town. Every girl in school wanted him, but it was Bunny that he wanted. For the first time in her life Bunny had a boyfriend and was the envy of every girl in high school because of it.
Often Dash would spend his afternoons in Bunny’s neighborhood shooting hoops with the other kids or playing a friendly game of basketball. The basketball star always seemed happiest when he was away from everyone that thought he should behave a certain way and date only the cream of the crop. What they failed to see was that Dash was finally happy for the first time in his life. He had found someone that honestly cared more about him than his name or his trust fund. Bunny didn’t ask for the moon or expect it. She was content to go for walks in the park or catch a movie at some low budget theater.
For their one-year anniversary Dash presented Bunny with a gold necklace that had a rabbit racing away or maybe it was towards something. Ashamed that she had nothing so grand for him she gave him the only thing she had, herself.
In the middle of their junior year about a month before their second anniversary Bunny got the shock of her life when she walked into school that cold January morning; Dash had killed himself. He had taken one of his father’s hunting rifles placed it between his knees, rested his chin on top of it and pulled the trigger. Everything came crashing down around Bunny. She quit the volleyball team and hung up her cheerleading skirt. Grades began to slip and she sank into a depression that nothing could bring her out of. As though Dash’s death wasn’t enough for the teenager to handle, she was dealt another heavy blow just one month later; her grandfather had a heart attack at work and died before reaching the hospital.
Money had been tight before, but this was enough to put them on the streets. Knowing that her grandma couldn’t go back to work due to health concerns, the sixteen-year-old took it upon herself to take care of everything. She tried waitressing and cashiering, but nothing paid enough. Bunny had run out of options and ended up at a strip club that cared nothing for how old the performers were. Performing almost nightly Bunny soon realized the real money laid in the hands of the men who wanted sex. Turning tricks when she could bring herself to do so she lied to her grandma claiming she was working at a really nice restaurant.
Gaining popularity in the strip clubs and as a girl who would do anything asked of her she wound up with some impressive clients; a judge or two, lawyers, a handful of cops, doctors, some big business men, an actor, three or four athletes and a mobster. The girl quickly became untouchable. If anyone did anything to her all she had to do was breath a word to the right person and it was taken care of, almost instantly.
Having the owner of one of the upscale strip clubs in her corner didn’t hurt any either. The girl wound up owning forty percent of the club before she ever stepped one foot through the doors. She performs when she wants, if she wants. Acts as manager of the club and runs the place better than the guy who had been manager did.
Having money for the first time in her life she bought a nice apartment uptown and moved her grandma in, making sure she had every comfort possible. Shortly before they moves in Lila began to lose her sight, which was in large part why the teenager had purchased the apartment.
Bunny plans on retiring when she feels she safely can without worry of money. She wants to go to college and do something with her life, she just isn’t sure what yet.
birthplace: Doctor’s office in Ridgeville. (Small town about two hours from here.)
interesting facts: Dash was the first guy she ever slept. Bunny always takes off the necklace Dash gave her before performing or having sex with anyone. Takes flowers to Dash’s grave several times throughout the year, spends a few hours each time she goes talking to him.

Thought it might be nice to have the cheerleading Captain here. Someone needs to cause trouble.
name: Bambi Curtkin nickname(s): none (That she knows of anyway.) birthday: April 19th age: 17 parents: Walter (dad) siblings: none body color: bright cherry red hair color: white eye color: light pink symbol: a white daisy and a pink rose wound together personality/temperament: Tends to act like she’s better than everyone. Gossips, enjoys making up rumors about others. Seems to enjoy causing others pain. Very much a prima donna. Likes things her way and if they aren’t watch out. A perfect little angel when anyone in authority is around. clothes: anything trendy and expensive jewelry: diamond earrings, diamond tennis bracelet, the occasional gold necklace sexual orientation: straight pastimes: spending money, being pampered, lounging about Europe, clubbing, dancing lives: uptown condo with her dad pets: none
history: Bambi’s was a complicated birth and in the end her mother died less than an hour after having her. Her father did the best he could. His best though fell short. Instead of staying home a little more he instead took on a greater workload at the office. He hired the finest nannies and bought the child anything she wanted. All she wanted was her father. Bambi rarely saw him and when she did he was always working on a case and couldn’t be disturbed.
Just prior to her fourteenth birthday Bambi was raped by Victor (who was seventeen at the time and the son of one of her father’s business partners). No charges were ever made. Victor’s father apologized and wrote out a check for fifty thousand for Bambi, to ‘help make up for what his son did’ as he put it. Not wanting to lose an old friend and business partner her father told him that ‘these things happen’ and ‘not to worry all is forgiven’. To give her a change of scenery and to help her forget her father sent Bambi on a trip, gave her one of his credit cards and told her to buy anything she wanted.
Bambi hasn’t been the same since that afternoon. She has always teased others, but after she was raped she seems to go a step farther and looks for ways to cause them pain.
birthplace: Local hospital.
interesting facts: This is Bambi’s second year as Captain of the cheerleading team. No one other than her father, Victor and Victor’s father knows about the rape. Is still hurting but has no idea who to turn to since it was swept under the rug, so to speak. She believes sex should be painful and won’t sleep with a guy unless he agrees to be very rough with her. Her father is a partner in the most prominent lawyers’ office in the city.

Don't forget, Bambi really doesn't like Sparky. Sparky's supposed to quit the team this year because she can't stand being around her anymore. >:D
I love how Princess is just friends with everyone, regardless of how much they hate each other. Skyler and Ace, now Bambi and Sparky. She's horrible. :D

name: Roxanna ‘Houg’ Rayburn nickname(s): Rox, Roxie birthday: October 13th age: 17 (can we say just turned 17?) parents: Ron (adopted dad) and Roamy (adopted mom) siblings: none her adoptive parents have two sons; Ratchet (older, away at college, final year) and Rubert (older, away at college, just started this fall) body color: hot pink (close to being on the dark side of hot pink but not quite) hair color: white eye color: light blue symbol: half of a black harlequin mask (only the left side) with a light pink glittering tear at the corner of the eye personality/temperament: Spontaneous. Laid-back usually. Very guarded when it comes to anything about her past. Rarely upset (except by her adoptive parents, they tend to set her off). Doesn’t believe in anything being forever. Little cynical when it comes to families and love. clothes: jeans, t-shirts (anything that strikes her fancy) , halters, heels, tennis shoes jewelry: occasional earrings, lot of silver, pink, blue and black bracelets sexual orientation: straight pastimes: dancing, partying, swimming, shooting hoops, jogging, going to the theater (movies), painting lives: with her adopted parents in a nice house in a good part of town (around where Princess, Chloe, Skyler and Hoops live) pets: Poison (white female rat with a black patch over her right eye)
history: Rox had a real family once. She lived with her real mom and dad. She even had an older sister.
Her dad was a puzzle no one could figure out. Least of all his family. When he was good everything was wonderful. Like something from an old TV sitcom. When he was bad their lives were a living hell.
He drank. Often times too much. The tiniest of things could set him off. Roxie’s mother took the brunt of what he dished out. At least to begin with. Bruises were hidden. Cuts were bandaged. No one breathed a word.
To escape this life that she found herself living, Rox would stay at friends’ houses, often times uninvited. A phone call home and her friends’ parents would agree to letting the child stay. Her mother was relived that at least one of her daughter’s would be safe.
When her dad was in one of his bad moods he would explode when he discovered that Roxie wasn’t home. Often times taking it out on her older sister, who took it just like her mother did, without complaint or pleading to stop.
Roxie knew what would be waiting for her when she did finally return home. The back of a hand across her face. The jerk of an arm almost pulling it from its socket. A clenched fist to her ribs. The chore of cleaning up the ‘pigsty’ of a house. Because it was never clean enough.
Roxie was nine when it happened. There times she blames herself. She wasn’t there. Maybe if she had been, it wouldn’t have happened.
Her father was in one of his moods. Discovering his youngest daughter’s absence he took to beating his older daughter for not making sure that Roxie had come home. Her mother terrified that he was going to kill her, took out one of his hunting rifles and aimed for him. He fell with a thud, a bullet in his chest. When help finally arrived, it was too late. Both husband and daughter were dead. Her mother was sent to jail for killing her father, who had killed her older sister. (It was all over the local news for months.)
Roxie was declared a ward of the state and shuffled from one foster home to another. When she was twelve the Reburies decided they wanted a daughter and somehow came to settle on her. The adoption moved along with rapid speed and the child found herself with new parents and two older brothers. Wanting the girl to really believe she was part of the family they had her last name changed to theirs.
All the Rayburns want is for her to feel safe and loved. Roxie doesn’t quite buy it though. Love doesn’t last forever. Sooner or later she believes that she’ll push just the right buttons that drive the Rayburns from her life permanently, proving that they had lied to her all along.
Wanting to give the girl a fresh start the Rayburns moved shortly after adopting Roxie. Her adoptive father’s job was in a plant and as luck would have it, they ended up moving here just this week. It’s a month into the school year and Roxie is anything but thrilled about having moved during her senior year.
birthplace: Canterbury
interesting facts: Seduced her first guy at the tender age of fourteen (he was nineteen). Has slept with a few of her ‘brothers’ friends (all late teens/early twenties). Wouldn’t mind seducing one or both of her ‘brothers’. Won’t try though until she is eighteen, because she believes her adoptive parents would have her committed.

Might edit it a bit later on. Might not. *shrugs*

name: Muck Winburg nickname(s): none birthday: January 23rd age: 18 parents: Mark (dad) and Hilda (mom) siblings: none body color: barely there yellow (so light that it could just as well be white) hair color: light gold with dark yellow highlights eye color: dark orange symbol: a black hockey stick resting over a gold skate personality/temperament: Bitter nowadays and cynical. Gets upset rather easily and about things that he knows he shouldn’t. He used to be fun loving, out going, laid back, hard working and determined. (He might be again some day, but I wouldn’t count on it right now.) clothes: sunglasses (rarely will he take them off), jeans, jean jacket, t-shirts (any kind), button down shirts (jean or flannel), tennis shoes or cowboy boots, cowboy hat (not all that often) jewelry: black necklace (looks like a piece of leather, it also has a small piece of black leather that is tied to it that hangs down a bit) sexual orientation: straight pastimes: messing around on the computer, ice skating, hockey, swimming lives: on a farm just outside of town with his parents still pets: Blitz (male, German Shepherd) history: Muck was raised on the family farm. It has been in his family for eight generations now. Growing up on a farm was both fun and hard. Fun, because there was plenty of space, lots of fresh air and quiet. Hard, because there was always something that needed to be done. There was no off for holidays. On a farm you work every single day of your life. And if you’re lucky enough you can scrape by. Maybe even if you are truly fortunate make a little extra. Muck knew that the only way out was with a scholarship. Grades, well he wasn’t likely to get one that way. He was grateful for those few B’s that would pop up in a sea of C’s. Fate was kind though and gave the boy a talent in sports. He excelled in both hockey and swimming. Everything he did for the teams he gave his all. He pushed himself to be the best of the best; to break records, to outdo everyone else out there. It worked. Colleges clabbered to have the athlete attend their school. He chose one that offered him a full scholarship plus the guarantee that professional scouts would be attending almost every hockey game each year. This was his chance. This was his way to make it big. He could pay off bills, take care of the farm and make sure that his parents would never have to worry about anything again. Life seemed to be going great. Than the unthinkable happened in his Senior year. Late one night after a game at a nearby school he was crossing the street to get to his truck. From nowhere a drunk driver came flying by. Muck was hit full force and left lying on the street unconscious. Those who had seen the accident called 911. An ambulance came and the teenager was whisked to the closest hospital. Three broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder, a badly broken leg, a cracked collarbone and that was only what they could see. When they opened him up they found a punctured lung and internal bleeding. His parents were left to pace the waiting room for the entire night as doctors did their best to repair the damage, but more importantly to save the life that was close to being lost. When he came out of surgery Muck was still unconscious. For three months he lay in a coma. No one knowing if he would ever pull out of it. When his eyes finally opened his parents rejoiced that their son had come back to them. There was just one thing they hadn’t counted on, Muck was blind. The teenager spent the remainder of the school year and that summer in both psychical rehab and therapy. He was unable to graduate with his friends and found that he would have to take his Senior year again. His parents spent every last cent they had to take care of their son. When their savings were gone they took out a second mortgage on their farm. Something that Muck is not happy about. He wanted to get them away from debt, not put them farther into it. Unable to send their son to the kind of school he now needed to be in, his parents were left with no choice. They begged the high school to allow him to remain a student there. Everyone was iffy. There was no way of knowing how this would go, or if they could even offer Muck the same education that the other students were being given. The school board though decided that perhaps this was a good thing. They could expand the school at some point and take in other blind students. Possibly even those with more severe disabilities. So Muck would play guinea pig and be their test subject. With bills pilling up Hilda took on a job at the school as a server in the cafeteria. One, the extra money coming in is most needed. Two, she’ll be close in case Muck needs her or in case a problem arises. birthplace: Local hospital. interesting facts: Muck was good friends with Chloe’s older brother Jace while they went to school together. (Jace is one year older than Muck.) Was the captain of both the hockey and swim/dive team. Had been for two years. Has an old truck that he bought himself (worked and saved to get it), it’s got a couple of dings on the fender and one small dent in the passenger side door, there is a little rust on the hood and along the bed of the truck. But it still runs and Muck is really rather proud to be able to say that the truck is his and he paid for it himself. Before his accident Chloe was still a scrawny little bit of a thing (she wore ripped jeans and halter-tops last year), he has no idea that the girl has filled out and grown up. Nor does he have a clue as to how she’s dressing now, he just knows there seems to be a lot of whistles and ‘yeah baby’ when she’s around. Chloe has become a bit of a seeing eye dog for Muck this year, helping out where she can and sitting by him when they have a class together. (Especially in computer class.) Chloe is one of the only people he feels comfortable enough to ask for help from. He sort of always thought of her as a kid sister, when he and Jace were younger. If he could only see her now.

name: Tripp Walker nickname(s): none birthday: May 4th age: 17 parents: Shadow (dad) and Silver Streak (mom) siblings: Belle (older sister) body color: black hair color: light gray eye color: bright blue symbol: one silver lighting bolt personality/temperament: Even tempered for the most part. Laid-back unless it comes to the band than he is beyond uptight. clothes: black leather jacket, jeans, solid color or band t-shirts, tennis shoes, button down shirts left mostly open, sweat jackets jewelry: silver ring on the middle finger of his left hand, chunky leather bracelets on his wrists, necklace on occasion sexual orientation: straight (as far as everyone knows, is actually bi though) pastimes: hanging out with friends, playing/working with Unstable, partying, clubbing, playing basketball, swimming, dancing, reading lives: nice house with his parents still (around Skyler’s neighborhood) pets: none
history: Nothing much has ever happened to Tripp. He’s always just kind of been there. Got dragged to beauty pageants by his mom when his sister was into them. But than he didn’t mind quite as much as he claimed to have. After all his best friend in the world was there too, Snaps. He still tends to kick himself for not seeing the signs, for not noticing what Snaps was doing to herself all for the sake of some stupid crown.
Tripp started taking guitar lessons while in grade school and kept right on with them through middle school. He knew Skyler was taking drumming lessons and he knew that an older neighbor by Keys had taught him how to play the piano; so Tripp figured why not start a band. So they did. Tripp became the unelected leader of the band and tends to push the other boys pretty hard about practicing. Something that Skyler and Keys tend to be less than amused by, because other than when it comes to the band Tripp is a fun guy to be around.
birthplace: Local hospital.
interesting facts: He uses GingerSnap as his alibi or excuse when out doing something (or meeting someone) he doesn’t want anyone to know about. Snaps doesn’t mind, even though she knows most of the school believes the two of them are more than just friends. Currently seeing ‘someone’ in another town.

name: Dusty Brown nickname(s): none (at least none she wants to admit to or claim) birthday: February 7th age: 17 parents: Smokey (dad) and Rose (mom) siblings: none body color: dusty sort of tan-ish brown hair color: red with streaks of mud-ish brown eye color: brown symbol: a closed book covered in a film of dust personality/temperament: Loyal. Self-conscious. Nervous around guys. Quiet around anyone but her closest of friends. An absolute sweetheart. clothes: jeans, flowy skirts, t-shirts with light weight sweaters over them, tennis shoes, sandals, heels jewelry: various earrings, thin bracelets on occasion, different necklaces sexual orientation: straight pastimes: baking, hanging out with friends, knitting, reading, going to the movies, singing, playing on the computer lives: nice two story house in a nice part of town (with her parents still) pets: Cody (male, Main Coon cat)
history: Dusty has always been on the chunky side. It never bothered her all that much when she was little. Besides people always thought it was cute, at least when she was in pre-school.
When she hit middle school though Dusty suddenly realized chunky wasn’t in nor would it ever be. She did everything she could think of to lose weight. She exercised, she dieted, she tried starving herself, diet pills, any and all combinations of the four. Nothing worked. She isn’t crazy about what size she is, but she also knows that she isn’t going to magically lose her weight overnight either.
She gets made fun of frequently and is often times the butt of a joke. Dusty has been called just about everything anyone could think of for an overweight kid. She tries not to let on that it bothers her. Sometimes though the joke can be too much and Dusty ends up running for the bathroom with tears in her eyes.
birthplace: Local hospital.
interesting facts: Dusty is one of the few people who bothered getting to know Mel after that first year in high school. The two have become really good friends. Dusty has an amazing voice and would love to sing professionally one day. But she has also come face to face with the harsh reality that she looks nothing like a ‘pop princess’ and that she most likely never will. Still a virgin, but that wouldn't surprise anyone.

name: Hoops O'Malley nickname(s): Hoopster, King of the Court birthday: March 13th age: 17 parents: Hobbs (dad) and Raven (mom) siblings: Skyler (twin brother) body color: white hair color: bright orange eye color: green symbol: dark orange and black basketball personality/temperament: Bit on edge most of the time. Explosive temper (pretty much directed entirely at Sky). Determined. Stubborn. Protective of family and friends (well everyone but Sky). clothes: jeans or sweat pants, t-shirts, basketball jerseys, basketball shoes jewelry: none sexual orientation: straight pastimes: basketball (playing or watching), lifting weights, swimming, jogging, hanging out with friends lives: with his parents (and Skyler) still in their large two story house pets: none (Sterling is strictly Skyler's cat.)
history: Hoops grew up with the same opportunities, had the same rules, both parents loved him just as much as they loved his twin. Yet somewhere along the way Hoops decided that Sky was the enemy. Anything that went wrong from flunking a test, to missing a basket in a game was suddenly his twin’s fault. Verbal abuse didn’t seem to face Skyler, so Hoops went to hitting, punching and even at times kicking him. Sky was terrified enough of his twin that he never breathed a word, which suits Hoops just fine.
During the first year of high school Hoops made the junior varsity basketball team. He badly wanted to be on the varsity team though and asked the captain, Dash Marshall, how he could make himself better so he would make it the next year. Dash introduced Hoops to steroids. Told the younger teen he needed to beef up if he wanted to make it. He took the drugs without question or hesitation.
Hoops and Dash ended up becoming friends. Much to Hoops’ dismay Dash killed himself later that same year. Hoops doubled his intake of the steroids, playing a dangerous game with his own life. The basketball coach found out just prior to basketball season ending and got him the help he needed without the entire school finding out.
Hoops spent the summer in rehab, plotting all the while just what he would do to Skyler when he got out. Because this somehow had to be Sky’s fault even though his twin had known nothing about it.
The only way he could play on the basketball team that following fall was by passing a drug test. (Which he had to take every year. More than once a year, without warning just to make sure he hadn’t started up using again.)
birthplace: Local hospital.
interesting facts: Bon Bon was the first girl he ever slept with. Hoops is actually two minutes older than Skyler.

name: Daphne Hargrove nickname(s): Daffy, Daph, Daffy Daph, Dapper birthday: July 21st age: 16 parents: Lacey (mom) and Harold (dad, doesn’t see him much anymore) siblings: none body color: medium purple hair color: cherry red with lavender streaks eye color: light gray (almost clear in color) symbol: a red heart with black stitches through the middle and a dark purple patch on the upper left side personality/temperament: Laid back, well adjusted, fairly happy. Driven, maybe not as much as some but she knows what she wants. Friendly, likes almost everyone. Accepting of others. Doesn’t judge others. clothes: shorts, wrap around skirts, jeans, tank tops, tube tops, light weight sweaters, blouses, heels, sandals, pretty much anything that catches her eye jewelry: earrings, bracelets, anklets, various rings sexual orientation: straight (for the most part) pastimes: dancing, partying, singing, playing the piano, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, yoga, swimming, jet skiing lives: with her mom in an a spacious and airy house on the Isle pets: various fish
history: Daphne had a childhood like just about any other kid. Her parents had problems, sure. But whose parents didn’t? There was just one thing, she didn’t realize, her mother was living a lie. Try as her mom might she couldn’t handle what she was doing, or who she had become. From a young age Lacey had known she wasn’t like other girls. The problem was that her parents wouldn’t accept anything else, so she pretended for their sake to be something she wasn’t. When Harold had proposed she accepted. Two years after they married Daphne came along and Lacey fooled herself into believing that this was the perfect life, all the while something inside her cried to be free. With the help of a therapist she realized there was nothing wrong with who she really was and it was all right to be herself, even if it meant loved ones walking out of her life. When Daphne was eleven her mother told Harold the truth, which sent him into a rage. Divorce was a given. What Harold hadn’t expected was a judge who would grant custody to someone like Lacey, someone who was gay. When asked who she would rather be with Daphne didn’t hesitate a second she said her mom. Unlike her father who was never around, her mom listened, gave advice, let Daphne be who she wanted to be and to do what made her happy. It never occurred to Daphne that others wouldn’t be so accepting of her mom. She lost a few friends, made some new ones, but along the way she’s learned that no matter what never judge a person for who they are or what they belief.
Shortly after the divorce Lacey opened a florist shop on the Isle. Not long after she and Daphne moved there, settling into a house that was more than large enough for the two of them, with a view of the ocean. Though it took some getting used to no longer attending school on the mainland, Daphne has made herself to home and enjoys the company of the other Island kids and has found their school more laid back and creative.
Custody battles are a regular part of Daphne’s life. There is no less than one a year and as many as five. Every time her father argues that a teenage girl is already confused enough and that living with a gay woman will only confuse her more. Every time though the judge finds a bright, well-adjusted teenager who has a better handle on what they want out of life than most people twice her age.
birthplace: In the backseat of her parents’ car on the way to the hospital.
interesting facts: Works part time at the florist shop her mom owns. Done a little sexual experimenting, has kissed a couple of girls and ended up topless during a make-out session once. Lost her virginity shortly after turning fifteen to a guy who was nineteen, he went off to college and she hasn’t heard from him since.

history: Teer was the child both of her parents always wanted. There was just one problem, they weren’t married. And it wasn’t likely that they ever would be. Teer’s mother is a lady of noble birth, a Duchess and her father was simply the son of a wealthy businessman. Unable to keep the child she was never supposed to have had Elizabeth gave up all rights to the child, not realizing that Rubert was completely set on keeping her. Had she known, maybe things would have been different, but she didn’t and they wouldn’t be.
Before Teer turned one Rubert left England, taking the child with him and moving to France. Having completed his training, he was now set to show the world just what kind of a chef he truly was. It took little time for the restaurant he was working for to realize just what a gem they had hired. Constantly pushing things Rubert invented several dishes that became the talk of France. Once Rubert’s father came to realize this wasn’t some silly pipe dream he decided to help out. He loaned his son the money needed so he could open his own restaurant. Within two years, the loan had been paid off and Rubert was looking at opening a second restaurant in Italy. Just prior to Teer’s fourth birthday, Rubert did open a second restaurant in Italy. Thus began Teer’s back and forth between two homes. During the school year she and her father lived in France, during the summer they lived in Italy.
Shortly after Teer turned eleven her father once again was looking at expanding and somehow came to settle on this city as the perfect location. Teer often puzzled as to why here of all places when there were cities all over Europe clambering for him to open his next restaurant there. Rubert brushed it off as wanting Teer to have a taste of normal life. After all how could a child who divided her time between France and Italy have a normal life? Teer didn’t quite buy it, but it was as good of an answer as she was going to get and dropped the subject.
Always wanting the best for his daughter, it came as no surprise to Teer when she found herself attending the best private school in the city. What did surprise her though was how openly some of the students trashed those that attended the main public school. She tried to ignore what they said, but when you hear things like ‘gangs’ and ‘doing drugs in the hall’, even Teer had a hard time fathoming how the school could stay open or how anyone could allow their child to attend.
Through middle school Teer was on the cheerleading squad and played volleyball. The summer before she began high school Rubert met someone at the grocery store and began seeing her without telling Teer. Just after she began her freshman year of high school the biggest surprise of her life was dropped in her lap; her father was planning to marry this woman and she had a son, Keys. Not wanting to upset either teenager’s school year their parents decided to wait until that spring before getting married.
Less than a month before her sophomore year began Teer was dealt another blow, she wouldn’t be going back to the private school she’d been attending, and instead she’d be going to the same public school Keys did. She protested not because she had anything against public schools but because in the back of her mind she did believe some of the things she’d heard said about the school over the past few years. Rubert shrugged it off with a smile and told her she would be fine, that it was a wonderful school and that this discussion was over. Teer accepted this new ruling as law and spent the remainder of the summer with her stomach tied in knots. She was so wound up and on edge that she literally jumped when Harle tapped her shoulder that first day. Once she realized the school wasn’t a traffic ground for drugs and there weren’t gangs terrorizing everyone there she relaxed and settled in. There were those who kept their distance, wondering if she was reporting back to the enemy about what they had said. Even now there are those who still consider her one of the enemies because she still sees friends from the private school and dates one of them, Maverick.
