Personality/Temperament: Elitist & snobby, Ace sticks to his friends and doesn't really care to make friends with anyone new. He's very smart (in the top 5% of the school) arguably the best athelete in the school (he's captain of the soccer team, and he used to play basketball and run track but he gave them up to concentrate on soccer) and definitely one of the most sought-after guys. Girls love him (he can turn on the charm like you wouldn't believe, and then turn it off just as quickly when he gets whatever it is he's after) and a lot of the guys look up to him. He thinks good grades are extremely important and tends to look down on anyone who isn't that smart (he makes exceptions for his close friends who just don't apply themselves) and is a bit obsessive when it comes to being healthy. He has a thing against people who aren't healthy (ie mostly overweight people) and never hesitates to cut them down and make them feel bad about themselves.

To 99% of the population, he's the biggest jerk in the world. But when it comes to his friends, he's a little different. He's very loyal to those who make it into his circle and does anything he can for them to help them with things(be it money concerns, writing essays for them, etc). He has some insecurities that only his close friends know about, and those insecurities are the reason why he's such a jerk. When it comes to adolescent psychology, Ace is totally textbook. The only problem is that the majority of people would never think to check and see if he actually has any problems-- they're content to think he's a jerk just because he's a spoiled brat who has everything.
Clothing: Form-fitting, low-slung jeans (he's the type of guy who will wear women's jeans because they show off his ass better;), short-sleeve t-shirts (usually pretty snug), the occasional dress shirt, Adidas or Fila track pants (usually black and dark blue, although he does have a pair of green Puma pants that he loves because they match his eyes;), collarless black lambskin jacket (it's like super soft leather). He'll basically wear anything that will show off his gorgeous body, and he loves dressing up in fancy suits when he goes out with his mother.The only type of shoes he wears are Diesel, unless he's in his cleats. He will not wear any cleats except Adidas, he wears the +F50 Tunit style (always in specially ordered grass green, to match his eyes;). His favourite brands are Hugo Boss, Diesel, and Dolce & Gabana.
Pets: He has no pets; he doesn't really have the time.
Birthplace: Sweden. (he's 3/4 Swedish, and speaks it fluently)
History: Born to very young parents (Patria, 14 & Niklas, 15) he lived with his mother and her parents until he was 5, when Patria and Niklas married. His early childhood was excellent, he always had a lot of attention and his mother was with him constantly. When he was 6 his parents got married and decided to move so his father could accept a job at an uncle's business. His mother finished her final year of university here (obtaining a degree in marketing/advertising) and began working when he was 7, moving up the ranks at her company very quickly. Ace fit in very easily and had no problems adjusting to life in a different country.

The older he got, though, the less attention his parents gave him. They still showed their love to him very strongly, but they weren't around as often. By the time he was 11 his parent's relationship had degraded so much that they got a divorce. His father left and Ace hasn't heard from him since. His mother sort of lost herself in work (she's the head of an advertising team for a huge corporation; she makes loads of money) and wasn't around very often. By the age of 13, Ace had learned how to look after himself on his own, doing all the cooking and cleaning. He didn't really mind all that much, he was more than happy to be so responsible, but he really longed for more attention from his mother.

As far as now is concerned Ace has a bit of an issue with the girls he dates. Due to his past, he's become very picky when it comes to girls and sex. If he's not close to a girl, he'll have no problem using her for some sexual gratification (as in, he'll charm her into giving him a blowjob;) but when it comes to actual sex, he's extremely picky. Not very many girls actually make it to the real sex stage with him. Usually they'll satisfy him and then he'll drop them without doing anything for them. Regardless of this, girls still flock to him because they're determined that they'll be the one to break through his player exterior and win his heart.

Things have happened in his past that explain his behaviour. When he was 11 he attended a rather exclusive summer soccer camp and while there, he was molested by his coach, who was a little on the overweight side (which explains his hatred of overweight people). Since he doesn't get a lot of attention from his mother, he craves it at school. However, Ace doesn't want to admit that his mother's innatentiveness bothers him so much, which is why he's such a jerk.


Some random facts:
-his favourite subjects at school are english (especially the composition aspect; he writes a lot of poetry/lyrics) biology, and math. Surprising to most, he actually hates gym class, due to the fact that half the class are, in his opinion, out of shape slobs. ;)
-he can play the guitar and the piano, though the majority of people don't know it.
-he regularly visits his family in Sweden and still feels a very strong connection to the country and everything about it.
-he has very broad tastes in music, but his favourite genre is synth/new wave, his favourite bands are: Depeche Mode, Erasure, New Order, The Smiths; he also really loves: David Bowie, Elton John, Sting. His newer favourites are: She Wants Revenge, The Scissor Sisters, Kasabian. He's also very much into dance music, with his favourite groups/dj's being: Ferry Corsten, Daft Punk, Armand Van Helden, Misstress Barbara, Blank & Jones.
-he's also very much into the Swedish music scene, especially Swedish hip hop (doesn't care much for American rap), his favourites are: Snook, Ison & Fille, and Looptroop. His other favourite Swedish acts are: Kristian Antilla, The Radio Dept, Sector7seven, and The West End Girls. He likes to play his Swedish music in the locker room/during training to annoy the rest of the soccer team. ;)
-(not that any of you will really care, but!) his favourite soccer teams that he badly wants to play for professionally are Bayern Munich (in Munich, Germany) and Real Madrid (in Madrid, Spain). His soccer idol is David Beckham, but he's also a huge fan of Guti (from Madrid), Cristiano Ronaldo (of Manchester United/Portugal), and of course his fellow Swede, Freddie Ljungberg (of Arsenal). He actually knew Freddie when he was little, because one of his cousins was a friend of his.

Personality/Temperament: Even though he looks very intimidating, he's actually very nice. He's very patient and doesn't anger easily, though he often looks cranky. He's very protective of his friends and would do anything for them.
Clothing: When he was in high school he used to dress rather punk with a bit of ska, but since graduating and getting a job working at a local coffee place/artsy bar at night, he's started dressing a bit more ska/rockabilly. His usual attire is a pair of black dress pants or pinstripe pants, a white wife beater shirt and black suspenders with a black fedora. He wears a spiked collar around his neck sometimes, his left eyebrow is pierced and he wears a small silver hoop in it.

History: Bones' parents are both abusive alcoholics who did a very poor job raising their kids. Despite having bad parents, Bones still turned out really well. He's always had to do everything for himself, and he's always felt responsible for his younger sister (Pekoe, 15) and tried to make sure she grew up as well as possible. Unfortunately, Pekoe is starting to take her parents' path down life, which is why Bones wants to move out so he can take her with him. Pekoe made him stay at home so he can save money to put himself through art school, she wouldn't let him move out just for her.

Despite being really good looking and nice, Bones has had a string of bad relationships, always ending with some snotty girl breaking his heart. He's a romantic at heart, but doesn't let it show very often. He's starting to lose faith in women very quickly.

Personality/Temperament: Chase is a nice guy who likes to impress others. He's pretty smart, a good athlete, funny, charming and a good actor. However, being Ace's best friend, Chase is sometimes forced into being a jerk. He's a little on the gullible side and likes to avoid confrontation.
Clothing: Jeans, cords, t-shirts and open dress shirts. Chase dresses rather preppy, but occasionally also wears some sportier clothes (basically, taking after Ace.) His favourite Brands of clothing are Gap, Club Monaco, and Aeropostale.
Pets: Golden retriever Dutch, and a German sheppard Trick.

History: Chase was born and raised here his entire life, he's never been away anywhere. Since he played soccer at a young age he and Ace became quick friends. They were quite close in junior high, usually always together. The fact that their names rhymed amused them to no end. Ace went through a bit of a change when they started high school, and even though Chase wasn't quite happy initially with the direction Ace was going attitude-wise, he decided to stick by his side after being given an ultimatum by the soccer star- you're either my friend or the top of my enemy list, you pick. Even though Ace doesn't really treat him that well (he tends to pick on Chase and push his buttons, he also makes a lot of demands of him) Chase is determined not to be turned into a social outcast. The friendship isn't that horrible, but the majority of Chase's other friends get annoyed with Ace's antics at times.

He played on the school soccer team, the basketball team and also ran for the track team. Ace also used to play basketball and run track but gave them both up to concentrate on soccer. He wasn't very impressed when Chase stayed on the track team (due to Ace's dislike of track star Lightning, who Chase was also friends with) so Ace made him quit track and stop associating with Lightning. Chase usually does whatever Ace tells him, and also allows Ace to choose his girlfriends. Chase was interested in a girl in 10th grade, but Ace didn't like her and told Chase that he didn't think she'd really fit into their group, so despite really liking her, Chase broke things off with her to keep Ace happy.

Chase is a part of the student council and is on the planning committee for dances. He's quite popular on his own, but too caught up in Ace's web in order to break free. He always thought everyone liked him only to get in with Ace, but most people actually liked Chase more than Ace, simply because he wasn't as arrogant and intimidating.

(I'd like to stress, since this happened in the other game, that Chase is not a mindless sheep/loser; he basically allows Ace so much control because he knows the majority of Ace's secrets and worries about him, he knows that Ace needs a solid friend to watch out for his best interests and Chase is determined to be that. The majority of the time Ace treats him really well, but he only treats him badly to test him. No one knows that Ace has so much control over Chase, everyone just thinks that they're best friends and that Chase makes all his own decisions.)

Personality/Temperament: Bratty, snotty and a little rude. Holland thinks the world of herself and doesn't play well with others who aren't in her high social circle. She's a societal sheep (she follows all the trends set by stars/magazines/tv) and judges others based on their looks. The way she acts is totally a cry for attention, because her parents have put older brother Chase on a pedestal and she feels that they don't care about her as much.
Clothing: Low rise jeans, short skirts (or at least as short as mom and Chase will allow;), baby doll tees, cute sweaters in the winter, Juicy track suits. Her favourite brands are Juicy and Baby Phat.

History: Holland has always been living in Chase's shadow and with a younger sister, she was the forgotten middle child for the majority of her life. Every time she had an accomplishment, it seemed that Chase or Limm were right there with something just a bit better. Eventually Holland gave up trying to be something great in her parents eyes. Her grades are good enough to get her into university later on, but beyond those basic requirements she doesn't care much how high they are.

Holland is rebelling against everything her parents say to her, just because she feels so neglected by them. She's on the cheerleading team and hangs out with the popular crowd. She has a huge crush on Ace, to Chase's dismay. He has often told her to stay away from Ace, but Holland won't listen. It doesn't help that Ace flirts with her constantly and always tells her to keep doing everything she's doing and to not listen to Chase.

She and Chase are getting closer, though. He's very protective of her and feels very bad about how their parents don't give her enough (good) attention. So he tries to make up for it the best he can. She doesn't always appreciate it, but she is trying.

Clothing: Moki follows a style very close to Japanes FRUiTS fashion, which is really outlandish and brightly coloured but sometimes mis-matched clothing. Her style isn't quite as outlandish, but still a bit odd, which she enjoys. Some would call it eccentric. She isn't brand specific, she buys whatever is the funkiest. History: Moki grew up on the tropical island all her life. Since being visited by Bright Eyes and since her trip to visit BE's home where she got to meet everyone, she has kept in touch with many of the ponies there and visits them occasionally. She invites many of them to visit her during the summer and often hosts beach parties during the summer for her friends.

Moki and her younger brother Loki (15) are home schooled by their mother Luna. Her parents own a posh resort on the island, and Moki and Loki help out during the year, taking people for boat tours and helping out with the scuba diving lessons/trips. She and Loki spend their time racing speedboats, surfing and scuba diving.

Moki loves fashion and wants to get into modelling. Her parents want her to get a real job because they don't think she'll survive as a model, but Moki is determined to prove them wrong.

Personality/Temperament: Sarcastic and b*tchy, Princess loves to mess with people. She'll instigate a lot of arguments and rumours just to watch the mayhem ensue. She doesn't care much about anyone, only those few people who are really close to her. She's extremely insecure, although she tries to deny it most of the time.
Clothing: Jeans, interesting t-shirts (such as the Oopsy Daisy line, or custom-made ones), skirts, dresses, anything kinda-girly but sexy. She likes looking good. History: Princess originally lived with her parents and led a happy life. When she was 11, her father died in a boating accident. Her mother was so distraught she blamed her for his death (she was on the boat with him) and things started to get rocky at that point. She started behaving badly and didn't get along with her mother at all. When she was 15 her mom found out she had lung cancer and had a few months left to live, during which every day she continued to tell Princess that this was all her fault. During this time she was very depressed and started cutting in order to deal with her pain. On the day of her mother's death she returned to her house with her best friend. The other girl had stolen a bag of cocaine from her brother, and together they did the drugs and got high, at which point they ended up cutting together. Her friend died and she was hospitalized in the psychiatric ward for the summer. Once she was able to vocalize her problems and became aware of the real impact her parents played on her (her father was always very loving and supportive) she was able to move on with her life.

After that summer she was adopted by her uncle and moved in with him. They moved here and she started school with everyone. She was very paranoid at first, thinking that everyone would figure her secret out. She was befriended immediately by some of the cool kids in school, and Ace took a special interest in her. Ace was still dating Starlight at the time though, but Princess and Ace continued to flirt with each other. One night after a soccer game which Starlight couldn't attend, Princess went back to Ace's place, where they talked for hours. Eventually her secrets came out and she panicked, grabbing a knife and threatening to kill herself if he said anything. He walked away from her, and she collapsed on the floor, very distraught. She thought for sure he'd hate her and that the next morning everyone would know she's crazy. Instead Ace came back and took her into his bedroom, where he talked her out of her suicidal thoughts. They ended up having sex, which became a bit of a habitual occurence for them. Starlight eventually found out that he was cheating on her and broke up with Ace. Princess felt bad, but Ace thanked her for it.

So now she's a meber of the popular crowd, does average in school but spends more time partying and drinking then doing work. She likes to think she's dealt with her pain properly but she really hasn't and is still very traumatized by everything that has happened to her. Ace is still the only person who knows about her cutting and he keeps it a well guarded secret. Though they occasionally sleep together, he views her more as a little sister, someone to watch out for and protect.

Personality/Temperament: Very sweet and nice, Sparky is just about the friendliest person you'll meet. She's very fun is always in a good mood, you'll never find her speaking poorly of anyone.
Clothing: Lots of raver-type wear, wide leg pants and tank tops, arm warmers and wrist bands. Occasionally wears some jeans (sometimes tight and sexy, sometimes loose and wide leg). She loves hair accessories. She prefers to wear hoodies in place of a coat if she can get away with it. Her favourite brands are G-Sus Sindustries, Kitchen Orange, Flosport, Roxy, and Volcom. She wears many brightly coloured plastic bracelets on her arms, and a few rings on her fingers. She has each ear pierced twice, and she also wears a silver necklace Ace brought her back when he went to Greece with his mother.

History: Sparky's father is a Mormon minister, her mother a home maker, and she has a younger brother Flint who's 16 and still lives at home. When she was 15 she admitted to her family that she's gay and has a girlfriend. Her father kicked her out of the house. She lived with Ace for two months before moving in with Rolli, who is the best friend of her girlfriend's brother. Her girlfriend's name is Jules and she just graduated school in the spring. Sparky is into the rave scene and loves to go out dancing. She's a part of the artsy drama crowd, but due to being on the cheerleading squad (and being close to Ace) she's well liked by most of the cool crowd. The majority of people took her secret sexuality well, but there were some who gave her problems about it.

Sparky and Ace are very good friends, he was the first person to find out that she's a lesbian. His close relationship with Sparky is somewhat of a mystery to the majority of his friends, since she wasn't really a part of their group. Regardless, the two love to go out dancing together and Sparky was actually a witness to Ace's first gay encounter, which included Rolli kissing him while they were all out at a rave together. Sparky sees a very different side to Ace than anyone else but she keeps it a secret for him.

Her passion in life (aside from Jules and dancing, that is;) is fashion design. She wants to be a fashion designer and spends the majority of her time creating new styles and begging her friends to model them for her.

Personality/Temperament: Tuneful is the typical high school rebel girl, glaring at everyone and making fun of the preppy girls.
Clothing: Blue or black jeans, black or red t-shirts, various t-shirts of her favourite bands, fishnet stockings on her arms, the occasional black skirt with fishnet stockings. Big black combat boots. She loves shopping at Hot Topic. She has five holes in her left ear, three in her right. She usually just wears silver studs in them. She also has a nose ring which is usually just a silver stud again. She wears a skull ring on her left thumb and a ring her mother used to wear on the middle finger of her right hand.
Pets: Her sister has a cat, Marmalade, but Tuneful hates it because it always scatches up her stuff.

History: Tuneful's parents weren't ready to have kids when they had her, so life was never all that great for her. Her mother had a lot of complications during her pregnancy with Harmony and ended up dying as she gave birth. Harmony almost died as well, but the doctors were able to save her. Her father was devastated and no one ever really explained to Tuneful what happened. She thought it was all Harmony's fault so for the first few years she hated her baby sister. As Harmony got older she and Tuneful started to get along, until Tuneful started to hit the rebellious teen years. Now she doesn't get along with either of her family members and hates being at home.

Her father made her take piano lessons when she was little and she played the piano for years. When she was 13 she asked her father if she could learn the guitar instead, and he allowed her to study it. She really took off with the guitar. After some time playing the guitar on her own but playing the keyboards for the Rockin' Beats she wanted to go in a different musical direction, more hard rock than any of the others. They had an argument over this which led to Tuneful leaving the band and starting her own band.

Personality/Temperament: A little on the shy and quiet side, she doesn't like to make a big impression on people, she'd rather go unnoticed.She's very nice and tries to get along with everyone, even those who are rude to her. She just wants people to like her. She'd kill to have a best friend, something she's been lacking for some time. She has friends, she just doesn't feel like any of them really care about her enough to consider her a best friend.
Clothing: Nothing special as she doesn't have access to a lot of money. Just jeans and t-shirts pretty much.

Birthplace: At home (her father was out and her mother had no one to drive her to the hospital, so her sister who works as a nurse had to deliver the baby)
History: Born to young, irresponsible parents, Rosie had a rocky childhood. Her parents weren't that great and there was never much money, but she was a pretty happy kid. Around the age of 7 her mother started to get abusive and her father started to get distant. He'd leave all the time and her mother would beat her, telling her it was her fault that her father was gone so often. Rosie would always try to get her father's attention when he was around, but she never did, he always ingored her.

It turned out that her father was always off with friends doing drugs and squandering all their money. Her mother started drinking, which only escalated the abuse. When she was 9 her aunt had finally seen enough bruises on Rosie to realize something was wrong, so she called Child Protective Services (CPS) who came in and took Rosie into protective custody. She lived at the CPS home for three years, at which point her parents re-applied for custody. They'd both undergone drug rehab and her mother took anger management courses. They both seemed genuinely changed, so they went to court and a judge gave them custody of Rosie back.

She was thrilled to be back home and things seemed fine for the first few months. Eventually her father started disappearing again and her mother started drinking. Rosie thought it was all her fault and that she just wasn't being a good enough daughter. After two years of more abuse (which often included being locked outside all night long if she was even a minute late for her curfew) she was taken into custody again after she wound up overnight in the hospital with a concussion and a broken arm. Her father had said that he wanted a divorce and her mother blamed it on Rosie.

So now she's been with CPS ever since-- no one wanted to adopt a teenager. She's happy enough where she is, there are a lot of other kids there who went through similar things she did, but many of them are younger and get adopted out, which makes her sad because then she never sees them again. She loves taking care of little kids, she'd be around them all day if she could.

She's desperately trying to stay in contact with her father (even though she's not supposed to, he's been banned from seeing her due to his drug use) and will often sneak out to try and visit him in his apartment downtown. He won't see her half the time, he tells her to leave him alone and that he doesn't love her, but there are times when he'll invite her in and he'll take her out shopping and act like he cares. Those times are enough to keep her thinking that he still loves her and that she can't give up on him. Her mother is in jail and Rosie has no interest in seeing her again, she harbours a lot of anger toward her mother.

Since her father isn't around much, Rosie is constantly searching for a guy to fill that role in her life. For the past year and half she was dating a guy from the private school who she'd met through a volunteer program he did with CPS for school credit. She thought the relationship was woderful and perfect (because he paid attention to her) but all he really cared about was sex. He broke up with her because he was bored and a little tired of how clingy she was, but he told her that it just wasn't working out, them being in different schools. Her friends were all happy because they didn't like him, but even though they broke up in June, she's still hreatbroken over it. She thinks it was her fault that they broke up, and now she thinks that she's just not good enough for anyone and that no one will ever love her again.

She is very opinionated and won't hesitate to speak out about how she feels, regardless of what anyone else might think. She has really hurt some of her friends in the past with comments, but no one has ever really said anything to her about it yet.

History: Patch was given up by her mother when she was 1 year old and was quickly adopted by her current parents. She never felt really close to them but has always gotten along well with them. She was quite the tomboy when she was younger but this changed in junior high. She still retains a bit of that, but has embraced the girl inside her.

She plays a lot of sports but has excelled the most at basketball. She currently plays on the school team as a point guard and was named the team mvp last year. She also plays in another league outside of school, which keeps her busy. Her coach on this team (Jonis, 24) has taken an interest in her and they are currently seeing each other in secret outside of the team. She's totally in love with him and he honestly is in love with her as well (which she worries about sometimes but accepts for now) so she sees even less of her friends since she's spending so much time with him. Her parents never ask her where she goes all the time, so she's been pretty free to do as she wants.

One of her favourite things to do is to go hiking in the woods. She used to go quite often with a few people (Ace, Chase, Starlight too if that's okay with you Cres; if anyone else wants in on the camping crew, let me know) but that hasn't happened really since Ace and Starlight broke up. Personality/Temperament: Nice to your face but the second your back is turned, Lightning will talk more shit about you than anyone. He's very popular, mostly due to being the star of the track & field team (and his looks don't hurt either) so he can get away with a lot. He's one of the leaders of the preppy crowd, and also one of the least approachable. He intimidates a lot of people just by looking at them with his icy gaze, as though he's disgusted by them. He stabs a lot of people in the back, yet people stay by him.
Clothing: Mostly jeans and nice t-shirts or button down shirts, he also wears khakis and cords. He's not brand-specific, but that's not exactly of his choosing.
Pets: A bulldog named Rocky that he doesn't like very much anymore, he's too old and drools a lot.
Birthplace: Originally from here, but he moved away when he was three and moved back when he was nine.
History: His parents were good to him when he was little, but when they moved away things got rough. His parents fought a lot and his mother was constantly out on her own, sometimes staying away for days at a time. She was only 18 when she'd had him and now she was finding herself wanting her youth back. His father worked hard and made good money, until he got injured on the way home from work one day. He was in a car crash and was in the hospital for a month going through rehab for his shoulder. He was laid off from his job due to not being able to sit at a desk all day anymore (due to back/arm pain) and had trouble finding another line of work. His mother chose this time to leave for good, divorcing him and taking off, leaving father and son on their own.

They stayed there for two years but ended up moving back here at the suggestion of his father's friend. They came back and his father started working with his friend in a factory driving a forklift, not very glamorous but it paid the bills. However, his father started drinking a bit and hanging out with his friends all the time, not setting a good example for his son. He still paid attention to him and told him he loved him every day, but Lightning was pretty disgusted at how far his father had slipped.

When he started junior high he quickly became friends with Ace and Chase due to the three of them being on the track team together. Through all of junior high they held three of the four spots on the guys' 4X100 relay team. The three of them were inseperable during junior high, but even so, Lightning never once invited them over to his house. He's been very careful to hide the fact that his father doesn't make a lot of money and drinks the rest of what he does have away. Keeping his father a secret, Lightning was determined to befriend the rich kids and pretend that he was where he thought he should be, where he was before his father got hurt.

Once they started high school though, seemingly out of nowhere Ace turned on Lightning and quit running track, forcing Chase to be in the middle. Eventually Chase caved into Ace's demands and quit as well, he also quit hanging out with Lightning. No one except Ace and Lightning know what happened between them and now it's definitely no secret that they do not get along. The thing that drove them apart though was the fact that Lightning is completely and totally homophobic, which caused some problems with Ace especially, being that he's always been very physically affectionate with all of his friends. They had words about it one day and the rest is history. When Sparky got kicked out of her place and everyone found out, Lightning was the driving force behind those packs of students who did tease her about it, further driving that wedge between he and Ace.

So now he's just still an arrogant jerk who won't hesitate to trash his own friends. Most of them are only friends with him still because they're afraid of him. He always wins his track meets, but has denied his father the opportunity to ever see him perform. He doesn't think his father is worthy of having him for a son and as far as everyone else knows, his father is just very busy with his job.

History: Born in Malaysia and raised there for five years, her father passed away just after her fifth birthday. He was quite older than her mother (who was 19 when she had her) and hadn't been well for some time. Her mother met a man who was there working as a teacher for a year, they fell in love and he took them back here to live. Jasmine quickly adapted to her new lifestyle, making friends quickly and easily. Her mother always stressed on her the importance of being popular and well off, and on getting what she wants.

So Jasmine always made sure she got what she wanted in life. Her step-father spoiled her horribly while her mother sat on her ass all day doing nothing (unless she went out shopping or dining with friends) and Jasmine decided that she wanted that type of life. However, she wants it for herself first, she doesn't want to have to rely on a guy. She has no problem relying on one, she just doesn't want to be forced into it by not making anything of herself.

Due to her aggressiveness and her ability to draw people in, she became the leader of her group. When they started high school she went out of her way to endear herself to the older popular kids and they accepted her into their group. Thus she was known in the school, enabling her to retain her popular status.

She joined the student council in her first year and was made secretary, then in her second year she was made vice-president and just this year, she attained her goal of being the student council president. history: Always growing up in the shadow of her older sister Meadowlark (who she loved dearly), things changed a little when Meadowlark left for Europe. Clover was still trying to be just like Meadowlark, plugging away at ballet practice even though she constantly had trouble with it. Madame Percheron became ill when Clover was 12 and the school had to get a new dance teacher. A younger, friendlier woman took over who insisted the students call her by her first name and who brought some fun back to dancing for them. She also noticed that Clover was struggling a lot with ballet even though she practiced all the time. She spoke to her about it and was the first person to really ask Clover what she really wanted. All her life she had wanted to be like Meadowlark, but that was mostly because she thought that was what everyone else wanted from her. In reality though, she had grown to dislike ballet. It was too hard, too much work, and not enough fun.

So she was introduced to the style of modern contemporary. It took a lot from ballet, but was not as strict and entirely more fluid and open. From the very first lesson, Clover's love for dancing was rekindled and she'd found her niche. Over the next year she really took the new style, letting herself get lost in the dancing. In ballet Clover had been a mediocre dancer, doing well every now and then, but mostly doing worse than everyone else. In contemporary, she was at the head of the class, impressing and influencing everyone else. Her parents and friends were amazed at the transformation. It gave her more confidence in herself and for the first few years, her former nervous habits and superstitions pretty much disappeared.

As she got older though and decided that she wanted to pursue a career in dancing, it changed her again. She's a little obsessed now with her training and performance, spending all of her time training, taking a break only for school. She spends most of her time with friends in her dance group, most of who are a little older. She's the youngest one at 17, the others are all between 19-25. She doesn't have a lot of time for school friends, which she doesn't realize. She thinks seeing them at school is enough for them to stick by her, but in reality, she doesn't see how they feel that she's drifting away from them.

She's currently dating one of the guys she dances with, Skale. He's 22 and her parents are a little worried about the realtionship. Clover doesn't care about what they have to say though, anytime they bring up how she does nothing outside of dancing she's quick to snap back with how they had no problem letting Meadowlark lose herself in her dancing. Clover has a bit of a chip on her shoulder when it comes to her sister, though none of it is directed at Meadowlark herself. She feels that her parents don't take her dancing as seriously as Meadowlark's due to the style. Her parents constantly make comments about what she's going to do after high school, about which university she'll go to after and what career she wants. It's gotten to the point now that if they bring it up even slightly she immediately gets defensive and angry. Any other time she's perfectly happy and sweet with her parents, but she just wishes they could support her the way they supported Meadowlark.
