"Of course it was. Now," Ace watched as the floor manager approached Vinnie, asking him to leave his bar and head to the back, "I believe you owe me a dance." He held his hand out, eager to get back to dancing.

Vinnie was less than pleased about being sent to do stock. He put up a fight at first, even raising his voice a little, but when the manager reminded him that if he didn't like what he was told to do, he could always find another job, he settled down and went grudginly where he was told. But in his mind he suspected that darn blond had had something to do with this.
Chip reached up over the counter, saw Vinnie leaving and grinned. He got up on his feet with a leap, as though nothing ever was wrong, and dusted himself off. Then he smirked widely to Ace, grabbing him from the hand he held out and pulling him against himself. He leaned in as though for a kiss, but stopped right before he reached Ace's lips.
"Indeed," he said with a purr in his voice. "I'll give you a dance you'll never forget."
And then he pulled the boy with him on the dance floor, starting to move his hips to he music, but instead of letting Ace go he wrapped his other arm around the boy's hips to pull him closer. There was a wicked glint in his eyes.

Ace grinned and followed Chip out to the floor, amused at his words. "I don't know, you'll have to make it really special, because I've had many memorable dances in my life already." When Chip pulled him close he settled himself against his body quite comfortably, nudging one of his legs in between Chip's. He was definitely back in tease mode again, surprised at how quickly and easily his emotions were flipping back and forth tonight.

Chip let out a low purr from his throat.
"I shall do my very best, then," he said, and slipped his hands down on the blond's bottom. He suspected that the boy was just playing him. But he didn't care. Right now, he was simply enjoying the game.

*forwarding to later in the night*
With his back to Chip, Ace grabed the other's hands, pulling them down and across his chest, in a sense holding himself in Chip's arms. Turning his head slightly he kissed Chip's arm, still moving in beat with the music, but not quite caring about anything other than Chip's arms around him. He looked around at the other people in the club, noticing some of them giving he and Chip some rather jealous looks. He was suddenly for the strong muscles he felt in Chip's arms, deciding that he would definitely have to make Chip walk him home. Closing his eyes and blocking out thoughts of being jumped on his way home, he snuggled back against Chip as he kept dancing.

Chip was quite pulled into the moment. He didn't remember to much look at the time as they danced, and he didn't really care to. Ace felt so good in his arms, and it made him remember things he hadn't allowed himself think on for a long time. Sweet youth in his arms... to be young himself, to really feel the rhythm of the music in his veins...
He forgot his usual careful self. He forgot that he wasn't supposed to fall for Ace. He forgot he was just supposed to dance a bit and then go home.
He started wanting him. The way he pressed himself against him, holding himself in his arms, snuggling tight...
He pressed his head into Ace's hair, and brought his lips to his ear.
"It's getting late," he whispered, and then nibbled on his earlobe just a little.

Ace smiled when Chip spoke and nibbled his ear. "It is, and you have to walk me home. I wouldn't feel safe leaving here alone, judging by some of the looks I've gotten tonight." He turned around, winding his arms around Chip's back, pressing his face into Chip's chest and looking up into his eyes. "Maybe I'll even let you come up and see my place, I should introduce you to building security in case you ever feel like coming over."

Chip felt a strange flutter in his chest - and somewhere lower, as well, as Ace turned around and hung his arms around his neck, speaking of him taking him home. He smiled when Ace talked about letting him up to his place. In his state of mind, he read that as a possible invitation for something more.
"It would be my pleasure," he purred as he held him by the waist. He smirked and took his hands off from around his neck and held his hand as he started to walk away from the dance floor. "Let's go, then."

Ace smiled as Chip replied and held onto his hands, letting the older male lead him out of the club. He waved goodnight to some people, mostly club staff, before they were finally able to make their way out of the club and onto the less crowded street. It was a nice night out, not too hot but not cool, just a comfortable temperature.
"So, what did you think? Have a good time after I got rid of Vinnie?" Ace looked up at Chip while walking beside him, pressing against Chip's side. It was a little later than he'd intended to stay up, and while he hadn't been able to do his usual work-out routine, he supposed a few hours of dancing would have to be good enough, unless he wanted to stay up another hour or more and go for a run. Which probably wasn't the best idea at 1am.

Chip smiled and held Ace tightly around his waist close to him. He liked this snuggling up. He allowed himself a little dream as they started walking along the street.
"Yeah, I had a great time," he said, being quite honest. He didn't remember the last time he would have enjoyed himself so much - relaxed so much. He looked at Ace, a sudden spark of insecurity touching him. "You?" he had to ask, though right afterwards he felt himself an ass for it. He didn't want to appear weak.

Ace noticed how happy Chip seemed, how relaxed he was. He shrugged when Chip asked him how his time had been, pretending to be less excited about it than he was.
"Oh it was alright, you know. Not too bad." He looked up at Chip and grinned, putting both arms around his waist and hugging him tightly. "Kidding, I had an awesome time. I'm really happy you suggested going out, the last time I went dancing was in Sweden with my cousins. While we are all affectionate with one another, it's just not the same, you know?" He grinned and kissed Chip's neck.

Chip, had he been any more on the shy side, would have blushed at Ace's words. As he was, it made him grin, and he tightened his own grip on him as well, plastering a kiss on his forehead. His mind was taking him into places he had told himself he shouldn't go with Ace.
"Well, that's just how I am," he said with a light tone. "I aim to please."
