The sound of shuffling feet was heard scraping through the grasses as Raven entered Don Valley, her silver gaze as emotionless as always. Under her arm she held her sketch pad along with a pencil and a black drawing pen. She continued to walk in search of the perfect place. With each step she took the seemingly infinite chains jangled from her bangy pants, her hazy gaze finally finding a lone tree set away from the rest. She walked over to it and sat down, leaning against its large trunk and setting her drawing pad in her lap.
Silver vision scanned over the valey before settling upon the river that passed through it. Top flap of the pad was fillped open as she took her pencil and began to do rough sketch of the scenery she saw before her. Whenever she was in art mode it was pretty much the only time she felt at peace with herself and a small smile actually spread onto her thin lips. A small breeze blew over, tossing her loose ebony tresses. She puckered out her bottom lip and blew the obnoxious hair from her eyes so that she could continue with her new project. Although her hair was always in great shape it was constantly getting in her eyes and she made a mental note to take care of that sooner or later.

Chloe had woken early and gotten dressed, sort of. If one could call what she was wearing as dressed. Her shirt barely covered her chest and the skirt she wore covered little past her rear end. Black knee high boots were laced snuggly, they had to be so she wouldn't trip over them and land flat on her face. The fifteen year old did not appreciate being laughed at. Rumors were one thing, laughing another.
Green eyes scanned the valley before coming to rest on a figure bent over a notebook of some kind. The teenager was intrigued at first glance. This one didn't appear to conform either. The question in her mind was 'why?' Was she looking for attention too? Did she enjoy the style? Was she just another trying to 'fit in' with a certain crowd? Whatever the reason was Chloe decided to walk over.
"Hi." Chloe smiled, "Mind if I sit here?"

Gaze was lifted from the paper to observe the river once again. She was determined to make this as perfect as possible no matter how long it took her. She wasn't planning on returning home anytime soon anyways. There really wasn't a point in going home if she knew that her and Magenta would just end up yelling for a few hours at eachother before it was time to go to bed. That's all her life consisted of these days...more and more misery. She didn't want to yell at her sister but she just found herself doing it more often and she hated to see her being hurt. What was driving to do such things?
She had just finished another tree when she heard a voice next to her. Great... She thought to herself but didn't bother to look up at her. Her expression creased into a frown, its usual expressionless tone.
Whatever.
She mumbled up to her before continueing on with her drawing. She wasn't in the mood for starting a fight at the moment so decided to let it slide. Hopefully the conversation wouldn't last at and if she was lucky perhaps there wouldn't be one at all and she would leave within a minimum of five minutes. But she knew in the back of her right mind that surely wasn't the case.

Unsurprised by the answer Chloe said nothing in reply. Sitting down on the grass she stretched long legs in front of her. Crossing one boot over the other she leaned back, letting her hands support her weight. Curious as to what the other was doing she wondered if she was writing something or maybe even drawing. Though the other didn't seem in the mood for talking Chloe figured what the hell. One more person either yelling at her or ignoring her didn't matter much.
"Whatcha working on?" The teenager questioned.
She could have added in 'if you don't mind my asking' but didn't. That seemed like too much of an easy out to her and she wasn't in the mood to let it slide completely.

'What are you doing?' Out of all the questios that was one she really didn't like answering. It just always seemed so nosey to her no matter how she looked at it. Most of the time when she was asked that she was doing something that was really no one else's business. A small sigh escaped her lips but it wasn't loud enough to notice. It seemed like every time she actually had some time to herself it was always interupted. Hand quickly flipped the cover back over the unfinished sketch before the girl decided that she wanted to take a peek.
Look, I might have let you sit with me but that doesn't mean I'm going to talk to you.
Her tone was cold and she leaned back against the tree, not bothering to look over at her. She had grown rather skilled at that over the past few months, totally avoiding eye contact. Eye lids folded over her silver gaze as she allowed her head to relax forward. Whatever happened she wasn't going to let something like this girl get in the way of her little time she had for herself. She knew she probably seemed to be about the rudest girl on the planet but she couldn't help it. Perhaps it was something her mind had done on its own, to see who was really there for her, to protect her from getting hurt again...
