Harle dreaded practice. More so now than she had earlier. The only good part about it was when Bambi would go missing for a few minutes. Rare, but it was greatly appreciated when it happened.
Chloe smiled at Sparky, honestly thankful that she was here. She had a way making things more fun and certainly more interesting. She couldn't help but to chuckle as she thought of Skyler earlier and the exchange between the two, or when Bambi had walked stiffly out of the room. If only it could be like that all of the time.
Bambi didn't bother to look up and acknowledge the approaching squad. Harle was going to get a talking later on. And Sparky, her blood boiled at the thought of the rival, Sparky would go down if it was the last thing she did.

Taking a deep breath, Sparky decided to go with the direct route. Walking up to Bambi, she glanced down at the stereo, a grin on her lips. "Need help picking out some music, Bimbo?" She could have tried to diffuse the earlier blow up for the sake of the squad, but call it pure guts or demonic possession, Sparky was still in her shit disturbing mood and was nowhere near backing down right now.

Bambi fought to keep the smile on her face for a moment. When she was certain it was going to stay there she turned around, that eerily sweet smile stuck on her face.
"I don't think so." Bambi replied, turning her attention to the rest of the squad.
There was a flicker of an evil glint in her blue eyes. It vanished as quickly as it had appeared.
"It has come to my attention that people believe we're getting flabby." One eye glanced at Sparky for a second as she spoke, "So ladies. Laps. Ten of them around the entire field. Now."
Chloe figured it was safer to run than to stay for whatever else might happen. Taking off in a sprint she began making her way around. Knowing she was already in for one hell of a tongue lashing Harle figured what could it hurt to stand there a minute longer. Bending to the right she extended her arm over her head and counted to twenty. Bending to the left she did the same.

Looking at Harle and smiling to herself, Sparky figured why quit now. "Wow, Babs, that's pretty rough, especially when you didn't even ensure that the squad is properly warmed up before undertaking such a lengthy run." Sparky moved closer to Bambi, plastering a look of sincere worry on her face. "Is something bothering you that you'd like to talk about? Because I'm here for you, you know. If you should ever need me." Slapping a hand down on Bambi's shoulder, Sparky looked into her eyes, wondering which of them would break first.
Holland took off after Chloe, wanting to stay out of this as well. She jogged quietly next to her friend, although she really would have prefered to stand back and watch. However with an injured wrist she wasn't exactly in a position to argue.
Sunny shook her head and started on laps as well, not in the mood for this. She loved Sparky, but this was definitely not the way to go about handling Bambi.

Green eyes were obviously watching the two before her. Harle wasn't about to just run. She'd warm up first. Making sure to dawdle as much as possible before Bambi eventually exploded at her. Yes, it was a good thing the girls loved their captain so.
That eerie smile never left Bambi's face as she eyed Sparky. Picking the hand up off of her shoulder as though it were infested with ticks she let it go. Taking a step to the side she eyed Harle, who she was certain wasn't really warming up.
"I'm sure your father would prove more helpful than you." Bambi replied venom dripping with each word she spoke, "He after all knows how best to deal with certain people."
She could have said 'you', she thought about saying 'you' but instead had stopped and thought for a moment instead of just saying the first thing that popped into her head.

"And just what type of people does my father know how to deal with, Babs? Clue a girl in." Sparky grinned, putting her hand right back where it had been before Bambi had brushed it off. This was entirely too much fun, hopefully Lark wouldn't show up anytime soon and ruin it. She had a feeling she might just get something useful out of Bambi if things kept going they way they were going now.

[[gah! No way am I going to reply to every single thing happening here! We'll just say Cara's been going along with them, yes?]]
Cara had not had much to say during the entire confrontation with Bambi - or the scene with Skyler. She never felt herself quite as outgoing as the other girls, but she did go along with them. She didn't want to be left out, after all, though she kept mostly to the background.
She made sure to keep to Sparky's side, though. She was slightly nervous for the thought that this time practice might turn out really... bad. When they walked out and Bambi ordered them to run, she was undecided on what she should have done for a moment. On one hand, she disliked Bambi and wasn't afraid of her, and thus felt drawn to stay and confront her with Sparky. But on the other hand she wasn't sure if there was much she could do.
Lingering for a while longer, Cara finally decided to start running. But she kept a watchful eye on the three girls remaining standing. She wondered if this could turn to physical. Usually, she knew, stuff like this was handled verbally - well, among girls, anyway. She recalled well the fights Vinnie had already caused. Guys seemed to be programmed another way.

Those blue eyes were like shards of ice about to sink into some poor creature's flesh. Bambi was close to hitting her boiling point. A dangerous thing for anyone close at hand.
There were a thousand things running through her mind. Each one more cruel than the last. Words would do no good here. She could tell that now. She would have to come up with something delightful for later. Bambi smiled sweetly at that thought. Yes, something for later.
The smile seemed to grow as she thought about just what she would do. There was no set plan just yet, but there were ideas forming. Delightfully devious ideas.
Blue eyes fell on Harle and her expression changed slightly. As though Sparky weren't enough. No, her quote 'co-captain' was there as well. Being of no help as usual.
"Harle." Bambi stated her voice authoritative; "You have laps to do."
There was no room open for debate. Bambi fully expected the other to take off immediately. When Harle didn't, Bambi gave her a look that would have made the devil cry. A moment later Harle took off after the other girls at a loop.
"You have laps as well, Sparky." Bambi said as though she was casually reminding someone of a sweater they had left at her house.

"You should really find yourself a leadership camp somewhere, Babs. That and an anger management therapist. I can see it in your eyes, you're absolutely seething!" Sparky said all of it with such cheeriness, as though this conversation was the most amusing she'd ever had.
Once she finished pulling her tank top over her head and tying her hair back in a messy bun, Aluna Lark stepped out of the staff office onto the field. She'd had an excellent day so far, lunch had been spent with Chip and Helli, discussing some nice office politics. All of her classes had been great, and now she was hoping cheerleading would go just as well. But when she saw all the girls running laps except for Sparky and Bambi, she frowned. It was no secret the girls did not like each other and confrontation was not something she was in the mood to deal with.
Walking quickly up to the girls, she eyed them both curiously. "As much as I'd love to know what you're discussing, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this is not the time or the place." Stepping right in front of them, she crossed her arms and gave them an unamused look. "You guys are two of the most important people on this team. I can't have you at each other's throats all the time. So you both need to cut the crap and just put on a good display for the sake of the squad. Now both of you go run your laps and cool off." She left no room for disagreement.

Bambi thought of saying something like they had been discussing music to use for a new routine they were working on. But really she just couldn't make herself spit that one out so she said nothing.
She waited a moment before turning to do her laps. With each step she took her ponytail swayed back and forth, bouncing along to the movements as she ran around the track.
[Anything else? Or did we want to end it here? Just say nerves were on edge for most of the squad?]

(That sounds good. Those two are going to rip the squad apart. Oh and I've been meaning to ask, should we make up a few more cheerleaders? I think we need a few more than seven, any idea for a good number? We should have at least ten...)

[Yes they are. Isn't it grand? Pity Sparky can't just start up her own team. That would be awesome. :) Ten or maybe twelve. Not sure what a good number is. But yeah at least ten. Maybe just have them be names, but not characters that are actually played?]

(I would say ten then so we can have a real pyramid, either that or fifteen, but that would be too many for us to manage without people playing them all, just names are good. Bambi needs an accomplice or two after all. ;)

[Agreed. Ten sounds like the perfect number. That way it isn't too many 'names' floating around. *chuckles* Well I suppose Bambi would like someone on her side on the squad.]
