She is open and friendly, so she can also be very brave in her actions, even though it tears her if she has to choose between her friends or between important duties. She is very dutiful and when she gives a promise she will go to great lengths in order to keep them. She never turns her back on a friend.

clothes: she wears rather simple clothes, and nothing especially revealing. Sweetheart can be very prude about her clothing, but she never criticizes others’ dressing if she can avoid it. She likes to wear jeans, sweaters and black walking shoes, and hardly ever wears high heels – except when she goes out in a nice dress or something.

pets (if they have any): has a white long-haired cat with green eyes, called Smitten.

history: Sweetheart is from an Italian family. Her parents come from Italy, though she herself hasn’t lived there. She’s got three younger sisters, Sugar, Peaches and Sprinkles, and one older brother Dandy who was sent to a boarding school at a very early age. Dandy and Sweetheart used to be very close as children. Dandy was quite a reckless youth, always doing pranks and getting himself into trouble, which was why he was sent off to the boarding school when he was about nine or so. Since then Sweetheart and Dandy haven’t seen much of one another.

Sweetheart’s parents are rather rich and well to do. Her father seems to scratch up money from nothing, being a car salesman, and her mother is a lawyer. Sweetheart thinks her parents are doing ok, although since she turned fifteen she has begun to realise that they are not quite as peachy as she might like to think. They see each other fairly rarely, and only family holidays are spent together as a whole family. They go to trips together, mostly to Italy. Sweetheart receives quite a pressure from home about getting good grades at graduation in order to get to a good school afterwards. She really loves arts, however, and dreams of becoming an artist instead of some crummy lawyer like her mother wants her to. Therefore, she takes arts classes almost in secret from her parents and uses all the spare time she has in developing her artistic talents of drawing, playing saxophone and acting.

She doesn’t let other people mess about with her, and she always tries to be very grown up. She is sometimes a little gullible, however, and though she is very smart and quick-witted, she can manage to get herself in quite a trouble because of her innocence. Starlight is very responsible person, and though she can be judgmental with the rest, she tries to keep an open mind and not take any sides in an argument situation. She likes animals and tries her best to protect them in everything she does. Starlight dreams of becoming something great when she grows up, perhaps a professor, or a lawyer, or a judge even. Who knows – but it has to be something well educated for her. She aims high.

clothes: she varies her outfits, but usually she wears rather colourful clothes. She has fluffy wool sweaters and tight t-shirts with all sorts of furry things attached – no real fur, though, just these coloured made furs, since she is sort of a half time animal activist. She wears colourful skirts, which are often made up of patches. She has golden or red jewel earrings and other jewellery, but she doesn’t wear make-up much.

history: Starlight’s parents have broken up. She has lived with her mom for the most of her life, but partially also with her father. She has no siblings, but due to her broken home, she has learned how to cope alone and how to take care of more than one person at a time. Starlight has often had to pull her mother up when she has – again after another disastrous love affair with a guy that’s ended up dumping her after getting some action from her – been too low to even pick herself up from the bed. Starlight began early to help work at the parlour her mother owns, and she has also helped out at the ice cream shop which his father owns. He still owns the shop, but doesn't come by very often. Instead, he has hired a bartender, whom Starlight helps out whenever she an. She has always had a very good working morale, and that is why, even though she isn’t especially intelligent or above average, she has done well in school. She is heading for law school, or university, she is trying to make up her mind on that.

Sweetheart sounds excellent! While I'm not Sharise, I do know that Sweetheart and Teddy are not a couple anymore. Sharise has turned him into a bit of a slutty boy, so it's up to you how SH will react to that. :)
However, Sharise is currently here visiting me for the week so when she wakes up tomorrow morning (she's in bed as I type this) I'll ask her if she has anything to add about Teddy and you guys can work out what you want to do with them. :)


Now so far we haven't been sure what we were going to do with characters. We originally thought that we'd only allow people to take on one of the main 10 characters, but there are many main characters who aren't being played that we need. I know Sharise also wants to play Lancer, and LNS wants to play Melody, so I'll speak to LNS and see if she agrees with me that we can waive that rule. :)


If she agrees with me, then I will be overjoyed to finally have a Starlight! I'll be sending you a private message about Starlight, as she and Ace have some serious history between them that you need to be aware of, and we need to discuss. :)


So as of now you are good to play Sweetheart, but wait on Starlight until I talk to LNS and one of us gets back to you. You'll probably have her though, just because I *really* want a Star in this game. *lol*#nosmileys

Lol! Coolies. I love Sweetheart, and she and Teddy made such a cute couple (oh, sad, yes, but cute). So I'd love to have them together, but we'll have to see about it. Sweetheart is such a sweetheart - I think she'll take almost anything from Teddy so she might well still be with him . Oh, of course she'd have her limit, and I'm sure Dandy would have a lot to say if Teddy's mistreating her.

Oh and since she's got a brother now, I assume I can introduce him, too, because he'll be around. I'll just have to cook up a bio for him and paste it up here, I guess. Oh um, and about Dandy, he's older so he'll be through high school and possibly even through whatever school comes afterwards, but there's the trick, since I don't have the faintest idea how these school things go in other countries than Finland, which means I've no idea how it goes here in Ponyland. Who could I discuss this with in order to sort out what Dandy's currently doing and how old he is? I was thinking he'd graduated in some computer profession so he'd be a computer whiz and be doing some comp stuff someplace.

Yay if I get Starlight. I actually had my eye on Lancer, since I really like him, too, but then I thought that maybe Stars would be fun to play because I'd get to "steal a pony" from Dazzle - even though she won't know it. And yea, I was thinking I'd need a brief on the Ace-Starlight(-Princess?) history bit since I've not been around the old board at all so I wouldn't know the details, lol.

Anywho, I just wanted to ask about Lancer if he and Sweetheart could be... er... friends or something? I was thinking since he's probably still rich, isn't he? So he and Sweetheart would have something sort of in common, and maybe get a bit of an outsider feeling because of it since people usually tend to either swoon over or hate rich kids, lol. But it's just a suggestion, in need of approving and further developing.

Well also so you know, Teddy is currently living with BP (another of Sharise's characters) who is his best (female) friend. She's not sure yet if they're going to be getting together sometime soon, but there is a bit of an attraction going on between them currently. But like I said, you'll have to talk to her about it and I'll let her know to come and talk it over with you sometime this week, since I believe her home computer is currently kinda broken, hopefully it'll be fixed when she goes home though. :)


Finland huh? That's cool! As far as school goes, they graduate high school at the age of 18, then they go on university or college, depending on what they're studying. If he's going into computer science/programming he'd be going to university. In four years he would get a Bachelor's degree, and then another two years after that he would get a Master's degree, then if he took another year to do research with a professor he would get a Doctorate (PhD) which is the highest you can go. In order to get a really good job in the industry most people go for a Master's degree. If you need to talk more about it just send me a private message (to my Kat account, not the admin one:) or e-mail me at [e-mail] and we can discuss whatever you want. I'm just quite happy you're putting thought into your characters, I've played with far too many people who don't. ;)

And yay for your wanting to steal Star from Dazzle! You have experience with her somewhere? I tried giving that kid so many chances and she just blew them all. *lol* Some people are not meant for rp'ing and she's one of them. ;) Anyhow I still haven't heard back from LNS yet about the character thing, hopefully she'll be on today. :) I'm very glad you decided to go for Starlight though, I've always been worried someone would come along and ask for her but not play her well, but you seem to know what you're doing so I'm very happy! :D

Okay I talked to Sharise and here is her verdict!

Teddy and Sweetheart would still be friends, but they wouldn't hang out a lot together or anything. They're just very different and into different things, but Teddy would still talk to her and be friendly and a bit protective of her if anyone ever messed around with her. :)


As far as Lancer goes, Sharise hasn't decided yet exactly how she's going to be doing Lancer for this game. So once we decide on the whole two character thing she'll be posting up Lancer's bio. Then you can decide if Sweetheart would want to be friends with him. :)

Well, ok as for Teddy and Sweetheart being friends. I'm cool with that. They actually might make better friends than lovers, I guess. It'll probably break Sweet's heart a bit but hey, life's full of little disappointments. (Of course, in her case, I know for a fact that she'll be having lot of them because I have plans for her homelife *sly look*.)

But as for that, Lancer and Sweet could do for a couple in case it turns out that way, just letting you guys know that I wouldn't mind such a turn-out. I always thought there was something kinda going on there when I watched the series. But I certainly don't want to be telling anyone how to play their charries so if it's not ok by Sharise then I'll say no more.

In any case, I'm happy to have made a good impression. Heh, I was sort of following up on that "discussion" on Dazzle's board about Rules and felt like coming up and choking her several times. Ah well. Yes, I've got some issues with her too so I can see where you're coming from.

personality/temperament (how they act: quiet, daring, etc.): Dandy has grown up a bit since his teens, when he used to be a terrible prankster and couldn’t stay put for more than two seconds. He still has his reckless, rebellious streak, but he’s come to learn that in life, sometimes you got to give up in order to float. He’s fiercely protective over his sister and anyone else he cares about, but everyone else he just waves off without any further ado.

clothes: black jeans, black leather jacket, sleeveless white shirts, silver chain necklaces, a silver earring in the right ear and leather boots. He’s got a dragon tattoo on his lower back, right above his butt where the trousers cover it from sight usually. It looks like the black dragon was lying comfortably just above his bottom.

pets (if they have any): Ronny (a dobermann dog)

history: Dandy is Sweetheart’s older brother and thus part of the same Italian family. He used to be a reckless boy, which is why his parents sent him to a boarding school at an early age (around nine). He’s been there ever since, learning not so much good behaviour as his parents think but bitterness and anger lessons. He made an art form out of sneaking out of the dormitories without anyone noticing, and has come to be quite good in this sort of secret activity, though on the outside he appears to be calmer and behaving better. He can be quite the ladies’ man, and usually doesn’t call afterwards. Despite being in an all-boys boarding school, he found ways of getting out to date girls, so he is actually quite experienced. He managed to whip up good enough grades to graduate and even good enough to excel in computer science enough to become quite the computer whiz. He went through university to get his Master’s Degree and since then acquired a job in a low-profile industrial company. This profession is paying off suitably to keep his parents off his back, but he has become darker-minded lately, which worries his sister. He doesn’t talk to anyone much about his life, so it’s hard to tell what this dark-mindedness is about. He does seem to be seeing his father strangely often when considering what a bad relationship they have always had – his father has the habit of beating his son up whenever he sees the reason for it, and even now when he’s grown up appears as though he believes he has every right and ability to do so. But, even though Dan and his father still argue a lot and though Dan lives in an apartment alone, they can be seen often together. Oh, and off-hand-remark: he rides a motorbike - and sometimes seems to love the bike more than any living being.

I think your Sweetheart would get along with my Logan. Shall we say Logan is almost a male version of Sweetheart. He's a good boy, not too talkative but a sweetie.

Sweetheart might get along well with GingerSnap too. Gin's parents are quite rich. Her father owns a clothing company. Gin isn't stuck up, but she does have her diva moments. Oh and Sweetheart likes Lancer? *grins* That should be interesting, since Gin has a bit of a crush on him. :)

Here's another permanent character I wanted to bring in. He's crucial to Dan, so I hope he's good.

Nicknames (if any): Chip (his call name – no one really calls him Ciro)
Age: 24
Type: earth
Gender: male
Body colour: dark orange
Hair colour: flame red, cut short in punk-style (like Teddy in the Tales show) except that he’s got a long fringe hanging on his forehead.
Eye colour: brown
Symbol: little flames and shards of metal

Personality/temperament: Chip is as full of energy as his colours suggest. At times it seems that he doesn’t seem to be able to stand still even for a moment, he’s always going somewhere or up to something, and his brain works full throttle all the time. He is extremely intelligent but sometimes appears goofier than he really is, but that’s just his act: he loves to entertain his friends by telling them stupid stories or talking them dizzy. He is a flashing personality, easily known but difficult to access on a deeper level. Though he talks a lot, he doesn’t talk about himself.

Clothes: Chip is very particular about his clothing and never goes out without checking how he looks at least twice from the mirror. He wears black jeans, which are tight-fitting around the waist but loose around the legs. As for anything else, he keeps changing all the time. Some days he’s got colourful jackets, other days he has sleeveless shirts and a chain necklace. He doesn’t wear sneakers except when he’s jogging – he considers sneakers way out of his style. He prefers either boots or neat leather shoes instead, and always makes sure all the colours match. He wears rings and has pierced his left ear from three places, though he only wears two earrings, which are both simple golden rings. For those who ever see him undress will know he wears a rather impressive-looking knife strapped onto his left leg (the straps are black leather).

History: Chip was born to a family that has its roots in Italy, though for two generations now the family has lived in different cities all around Ponyland (or in whichever state this place is located). His mother died of childbirth and for ten years Chip was raised by his father only. They moved to [this place] when Chip was about two years old, so he remembers little about it. Around the time Chip was eight, his father married a seventeen-year-old girl called Scarlet, and sent Chip to a boarding school in order for him to learn discipline, as he put it. In fact, as Chip believes, he wanted the boy out of his way in order to better enjoy his new bride.

In any case, Chip was put in the same boarding school as Dandy, probably because Tino “Tin” Rosacci (Sweetheart’s and Dandy’s father) and Chip’s father had always been good friends, and the two thought that their sons could as well become friends. When Chip was younger, he often played with Dan. In the boarding school their friendship grew stronger, and they became practically inseparable. Chip helped Dan through his school problems, and Chip was actually the one to draw Dan with him to computer science. Dandy graduated and got his Master’s Degree before Chip did, but it took him a longer while to get a job. After Chip graduated not long ago, he got a job from the same company, though Chip also has a side job at the Meadowbrook High as the computer assistant and tech support, giving computer tutoring to students.

Chip has just moved back into [this place]. He still lives home, mainly because of his father, who doesn’t let him move out. Chip doesn’t understand why, although he can guess it has something to do with him not wanting to live alone with Scarlet anymore. Scarlet and Chip’s father don’t get along well anymore, because he has found out Scarlet is fooling around with younger guys. Being a Catholic, Chip’s father doesn’t believe in divorce, hence he sticks with her, though the two have basically separated the house between themselves. Now Chip has got into a difficult situation because Scarlet has shown obvious interest in him, whereas he couldn’t be less interested.

Facts of interest: Chip does photographing partly as a hobby, partly as an actual job, for a fashion magazine. His own interests lie in more artistic approaches, and though he does most of his photographing in a studio he has rented from the fashion magazine Gauge he works for, he loves to do photographing outside, in the nature or otherwise "authentic" surroundings.

She is a bit of a sex addict, but gets bored with the same partner as quickly as she bores of a same old dress. She’s always on the prowl for fresh young men to satisfy her needs. She does not feel any attraction towards females, and thinks of male-male or female-female sexual relationships something quite horrible.

clothes: very revealing and sexy: tight-fitting tops with generous necklines, short mini-skirts and high heels. Wears lots of jewellery and is always very careful about never showing her face anywhere without heavy but tasteful make-up on.

pets (if they have any): a Persian male cat called Catnip

history: Scarlet was born to a rather rich family and is used to getting everything she wants. Ever since she was young, she has planned seducing a rich and handsome man who would take care of her and give her all the jewellery and stuff she could ever want. With her looks, this worked fairly early. She dropped out of school when she met Mario Tirano, Chip’s father, and married him. Mario wasn’t especially rich, but he was wealthy enough to support for her, so she deemed herself happy with him – if only they got rid of his kid. So she got him to send Chip off to a boarding school. For a while the couple was happy, but by the time Chip came back from school with his Master’s Degree, Scarlet was already tired of Mario and looking for new fish. Chip caught her eye, and she has been frustrated in trying to get him interested ever since. Scarlet isn’t used to losing, and therefore she is putting all her charm and her effort in luring Chip.

O-ok. This guy is beginning to turn into a cement boulder blocking my brains if I don't write him out. So here. Connected to Chip and the Rosacci family, he's Chip's cousin. I don't know if he's gonna be a temp or a regular. I'm hoping to play him as a temp for now and change him to a reg later if he should prove popular enough, so to speak.

personality/temperament (how they act: quiet, daring, etc.): Vincent is a self-confident, rumbustious [spelling?] and daring. He’s the typical dominating tough guy of the croud – he thinks crying is only for women and wussies, and he likes to maintain an appearance of coolness to the very end. He never gets embarrassed, and usually always gets what he wants – in one way or another. He has a bit of an identity crisis, of which he himself is not yet aware of; though he gets turned on by guys as well as girls, he thinks of gays as wussies and disgusting. This makes him dangerous, since because of his own uncertainty about himself he tends to react in an overly hostile way to gays (or gay suggestions about himself). He’s very aggressive, mostly due to his home life, and does tend to act before thinking.

clothes: leather. Leather, leather, leather. [What is it with me and Italian guys and leather? *lol*] Vincent likes to wear leather and in general sexy, tough guy’s clothing. Occasionally you might spot him in jeans as well, since they go with his eyes better. Usually he wears boots but when occasion calls for it you will see him in Armani shoes and even with a black tie. This is extremely rare, however.

pets (if they have any): none. He doesn’t have the time. Oh, except if you count in his bike. She’s called Lady.

history: Though Vincent was born in Italy, he spent his first years in [Ponyland?]. Mostly he lived on the road since his father worked as a travelling salesman and kept his family with him, and it was only around his tenth year of age when the family moved to Italy for good. He finished his school there and then started working as a waiter and do other odd jobs, because his brains nor his concentration would get him through any higher degrees of education. At this point he decided to move away from his folks and indeed from Italy, for reasons of his own.

Vincent has suffered from a lousy home life. His father was abusive and beat him and shouted at him nearly daily over trifle matters. Every trace of weakness was beaten right out of him during his early years, and in general Vincent doesn’t like to think back on his youth or childhood. Needless to say, he has since become rather closed-up on the details of his past, though he does attempt at appearing as though there never was anything wrong. He’s a fighter, and has therefore survived, but school never inspired him – or that’s what he says, at least. He graduated only barely, and has since then stuck with low-profile jobs such as waiting or bartending. Currently he’s arriving to the city straight from Italy, and doesn’t have a place or a job yet.

On the side note, I was hoping he might get a job from the Italian pizza place or one of the nightclubs - or both, because he needs the money. It would be darned interesting to have him get a job from Reflections without knowing it was a gay club and then finding out…

I like him, he is approved! He can work at either place, if he went for an interview at Reflections he could have gone on a Friday night when it was raver night instead of gay night, so there wouldn't have been an overwhelming number of gays there for him to notice. :)
